The infra red sauna has multiple facets of benefits! You can burn up to 700 calories in a 30 minute session, it helps you accelerate the detoxifying process by penetrating the skin between 1" and 1 " with the infra red heat and rays. Your body absorbs these rays beneath the skin and becomes heated and pourous, toxins and acids that settle in the weakest parts of the body are now loosened and volatile. Don't worry, infra red heat is the same heat they use for babies in the premie ward at the hospital so its safe!

Posting under my husbands account i went for a massage and facial. Facial was great. Massage by the male therapist left me with bruises up and down my spine. Way to rough. When he asked if i was sore i said yes and he continued to grind into those spots. I didnt come for my pressure points and bones to be grinded by elbows. I came for a relaxing massage and thats not what i experienced. 3 stars only because the facial was great. Will not be using again for a massage

I came to Luna Mesa for the first time based off of a recommendation, & left very disappointed. I came in for a prenatal massage that was given by one of there male masseuses. He didn't seem one bit interested in the massage and was on his phone texting on my leg. I did also get a facial that I was happy with which was done by Kelly.

I have been a customer here for a couple years and have gotten several facials and massages with multiple employees which I have been very satisfied with, however it is getting harder and harder to deal with the owner who is usually the receptionist. If he answers the phone I usually hang up and call later hoping for someone else. He is rude, passive aggressive, and doesn't hesistate to give his opinion on things.
He is not one to hear any negative feedback and doesn't like to admit when he is wrong which are all bad qualities especially for a business owner. I hope he has an attitude check because I think he drives customers away.

I have been going to here for the last 6 years and can honestly say I love everything about it. This is not your typical chain of franchises. It is a local business that always meets the expectations of its customers. The massages from every employee I have interact-acted with are phenomenal and I love the owners husband. He is always helpful and hilarious. His personality can brighten anyones day. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinions, however, this will forever be my go to spot!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality I went in for a relaxing 90 min massage and was so disappointed. There's nothing worse than feeling the effects of a massage therapist who is not into his art. He went over and over using the same stroke even leaning on my leg with his other hand! I ended the massage early, left feeling aggravated!

I have been here once and will probably not go again. They were running late because they had no working hot water, they had to heat their water in the microwave to do a pedicure. The woman that did my nails had me soaking in chilly water for a very long time and she spoke about inappropriate topics, she said things such as, "Everyone should be able to own a hand gun, it's a basic right." I came for a service not to hear her crazy politically biased opinions.
To top it all off, my dip powder manicure chipped off 3 of my nails the second day I had it, leaving me with a weird orange stain on two of my nails. As it turns out, when using a gel or powder you should never use cuticle remover before applying either product.

So I read the reviews before I came here. I was like, okay I need to see for myself. I just had major back surgery and the minute I walked in, Rob walked me to a comfy chair and made sure I had everything I needed while I waited. I came in for a spa pedi because I can't reach my feet. My tech Julia, BEST TECH EVER, made sure I was comfortable in the chair.
Perfect water temp. Perfect scrubby scrub. Perfect massage! Flawless polish application. She was very attentive to my comfort. I will be a repeat customer. Clean. I watched them disinfect between clients. Masks were worn. If you're local, check them out!

I went to Luna Mesa for the first time today for a massage and facial. I had a PHENOMENAL experience. The facial was so relaxing and thorough- I was actually treated for the full 60 minutes (previously I've had facials where half the time you're sitting there with a mask on your face and not much else happening). The massage was also excellent. Perfect attention to muscle tension and focus on my individual needs.
The pressure was sufficient enough to actually make a difference which was so refreshing. The prices were SUPER reasonable as well. I'm so happy to have discovered this place!

I just had the most wonderful Prenatal massage. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. My masseuse Suzi was a delight. She found ever knot in my back and I left feeling wonderfully relaxed. If you are pregnant or need a gift for someone who is pregnant I would definitely recommend them.

I have been going to Luna Mesa for many years and it has always been a nice experience. Today was not the case, the person who did my nails did not do a great job and didn't follow the Covid protocols which made me feel very uncomfortable. She had her mask below her nose the entire appointment and was discussing with her other coworkers that she has felt dizzy for days.
If we weren't in the middle of a pandemic I probably would of just let it go and made sure my next appointment was with someone different. Unfortunately now I don't feel comfortable returning to Luna Mesa at all.

I was a truly loyal customer for over 2 years. Over this course of time, I developed great relationships with the nail technicians. They are all super friendly, professional, and courteous. The owner's husband however, is rude, condescending, and sarcastic. while I had recognized these shortcomings in his exchanges with the mostly female staff, I experienced it first hand at my last and final appointment.
I was scheduled for a 9:45 am appointment. The reminder call came the day before and, even the transcribed message proved that the receptionist said 9:45. I also had a reminder card that said 9:45. He mumbled something under his breath, completely ignored me, and commented to the receptionist about my being "late". When I saw my tech she said, I was getting nervous, I know you're always on time.
I then went up to the counter to show the owner's husband my message and reminder card with the time of 9:45, and his very curt response was, "I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to her." I responded, "well you were talking about me so I wanted to show you. " He then cut me off and repeated the same thing again, saying, "I said, I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to her".
He spoke very slowly, as if to articulate the words so that I could understand him better. A customer who overheard his comment remarked and said, "I wouldn't come back here if he spoke to me like that. He is a very rude man". I felt terrible, but told my nail tech Nicole C who is amazing, that I would not be returning. I just can't give my business to a man who I have seen repeatedly diminish his staff, roll his eyes at customers, and offer no apology in his rude remark to me after I showed him evidence that it was his mistake, not mine.
I have an appointment today at a neighboring spa. They charge 5 dollars less for a powder dip, and 7 dollars less for a French dip. They were super nice at the desk, and it is meticulously clean. Ciao Luna Mesa!

Have only gone here for massage services which are fine so decided to get my nails done. My tech never came up to get me only after some wait time did I seek her out. She never spoke a word to me unless I started the conversation seemed like she didn't want to be there. It's been 4 days and my gel is chipping. Also and most important to me is the fact that she was sick and had no mask on.
You are literally 3 feet away from me. I'm not looking to get someone's cold I'm sorry but if you're sick and work that close to clients you need to wear a mask and management should make it a requirement. Sadly disappointed.

I will never go get my nails done here again. I went and spent 40 dollars for powder dip manicure and after just a couple of days they're chipping and cracking. Definitely will not recommend! To add aside from my nails the workers were talking about other customers they had in the previous week non of it nice. Not at all appropriate.

Excellent massage. They were able To take me in on short notice and the price was very reasonable in comparison to other locations. I Had a deep tissue massage with Allison D. She did an outstanding job and obviously knew what she was doing. All the tension and stress on my body from training and daily life was released in one session. I walked out of there feeling amazing and pain free. That was exactly my goal of going there and they came through. I will certainly be back.

I've been here just a few times and I can say this is really a nice place. Upscale, not snobby. The environment is peaceful and very clean. The service is professional and friendly. I'm not really into the pampering of getting nails done or spa services but the occasional pedicure is nice. This is the only place I would use. I highly recommend Luna Mesa.

This is a very quaint day spa in Center Moriches. I recently had a pre-natal/pregnancy massage. It was very good! They are very accommodating to the issues with pregnancy such as a huge belly I was 32 weeks at the time and their pillow for you to be able to lay down on your stomach is fantastic! Super comfortable. The massage covers head to toe! The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because I wish the masseuse had spent a little more time on my feet and legs, especially since I said I suffered from a lot of sciatica pain.
They are also extremely precise. If your service is for 60 minutes it is literally 60 minutes and they seem to rush the ending so they stay within the time frame. They have spa specials and this particular massage cost me $75.

I had a facial in combination with a microdermabrasion. It was decent! However I was much more familiar with the PCA products than the the skin care girl! She was nice but did not do hardly do any extractions. It is a very controlled environment! The owners do not let the girls have product in their rooms they leave you there for a lil bit while they load up a basket with product that they use for your service under the owners watch!
I was trying this place because my Skin care specialist is moving out of the country. I get a combination facial Microderm every 3 to 4 weeks religiously they charged me $190 for the service it was exactly 1 hour, they are very precise with their time. God for bid they go over or give you a little something extra! It is more of a specialty place to go for a wedding etc. etc. they could've had my business every month but the owner got a little loud with me when I spoke with him about the price if I was to come regularly I think $150 is plenty of money to spend on a one hour service especially if you go every 3 to 4 weeks he knew nothing about the facial and honestly again the girl who did my facial was very nice and ihave had a lot worse facials than that it was good it was OK but it was worth to me from experience and I have a lot of it $75 then Microderm machine is a diamond tip it is not medical grade and I as I said she hardly clean my skin it's almost like the owner scared her because I was getting a combination micro and facial.
I was not happy with the price or his attitude. I will not be back! FYI if anyone is interested in traveling to Woodbury I would recommend Dr. Greenbergs office for aexperienced skin care professional. Guess I will be driving an hour for my facial's now

I had a pregnancy massage last night with Judy and it was HANDS DOWN the best pregnancy massage I have EVER had! I previously had one at East Wind and Luna Mesa BLEW East Wind out of the water. Highly Highly recommend for "Moms to be" to check out Luna Mesa and stay far away from East Wind- it's not all it's cracked up to be. Luna Mesa has the special pregnancy pillow so that you are able to lay on your stomach (which was a HUGE plus and want for me). A++++++ definitely going back again- it was so good I might be going 1x/week!

I have been here for a facial, few massages and several manicures/pedicures. Great place not too far from home that is very clean and staff is wonderful. I'm always very satisfied with the mani/pedis, usually looks perfect! Love the relaxing atmosphere and attention. The massages I've had there left me feeling like jelly and were better than I've had at more "posh" spas.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. This place is awful. I couldn't even get in the door because their schedule was always 'too full'. Their staff is very rude! I asked for a mani/pedi and she had the nerve to tell me she only had time to do one! How is that useful to anybody? I received a gift certificate to this place as a birthday gift - what was supposed to be a nice gesture is turning out to be a nightmare. Now we have to go there to get a reimbursment for the gift certificate and I'm cringing at the thought of what hassle THATS going to be.
