Dr. Reida and his team are extremely pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable. I'm lucky to live down the street from Bass River Chiropractic in the summertime and started visiting last year. Like all good chiropractors should, he took x-rays during our first appointment. By chance the x-ray happened to uncover a separate medical issue that required surgery to resolve.
If Dr. Reida hadn't taken the x-rays, this issue would have likely gone unseen until it surfaced in the form of a major medical issue. I am very grateful for his thoroughness, expertise and positive attitude.

Amazing chiropractors and staff! A year ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I was experiencing symptoms of sciatica, fatigue, some vertigo, and went in for an adjustment. Thanks to the amazing intuition of Dr. Reida I'm alive today. Instead of adjusting, he advised me to go to urgent care for a scan which turned into a life-saving procedure! Not enough credit is given to the brilliance of chiropractic care. I am forever grateful to this man!

Both chiropractors are amazing so is the front desk i had started hear when I was pregnant. They adjusted me threw my whole pregnancy which made for a smooth labor. Then he saw my baby after he was born for gas issues that being adjusted helped. Now I'm still hear 3 years later and no matter what promblem I go in with they are sure to fix me. I love This is place and the care that goes with it

Took me.in on short notice, flew in from Florida for 5 days in Boston. Knew this walking city vacation was going to be horrible because of back issues. After x-rays and background history, doc took care of everything. Felt great and roamed the streets of Boston's best had a great vacation away from the hurricane. Great office with decades of experience. Thank you

I was very unimpressed. I arrived on the cape after a long international flight. I needed an adjustment - I called they said no problem come over - I arrived with my chart from my regular chiropractor. I emailed them the chart and then was handed the standard forms - I filled them out but said you have the chart why am I doing this - the staff was fairly surly and responded that it was a required as was an xray I said I had the chart oh well the doctor would check the chart and let me know about the xray.
Then I was handed the autherization firm which included a form consenting to an xray. Then 2 minutes later the same surly staff member said the doctor has decided I need an xray because my chart isn't complete and no problem they have xray facilties. I smelled a scam and an unneeded procedure to increase their billing so I left. So here is my take: 1) chiropractors should take x-rays to determine a course action.
But when you arrive with a chart and have regularly been under chiropractic care and the original Doctor had already ordered and read an extensive xray set - it seemed excessive but perhaps after the doctor meets you and talks to you then maybe there is a reason for an xray and they can explain why. 2) I expect the doctor to explain why an xray would be needed in the specific case not surly staff of questionable qualifications.
I also would expect the doctor to at least meet me before ordering the xray. Seems like malpractice to order a procedure without even meeting or talking to you. 3) The office has their own xray machine so it seems to me to there is a built in conflict of interest. YMMV
