Visions Hair Studio is a community driven salon active in the American Cancer Society. We offer free wigs for cancer patients, volunteer with the Look Good. Feel Better program held at the Cancer Treatment Center and participate for Relay For Life. We provide complimentary haircuts for those donating their hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths.

I WAS HERE FOR 12 HRS! NOT KIDDING KEEP READING, absolutely hate it! Not only was I not booked with the correct stylist that I asked for the women who took over my hair completely fried it! She bleached it and colored so much and my end result was not what I wanted, I asked her to cut my extensions to blend them with my hair and she didn't even add layers she was thinning the out, she had a full body wax booked around the same time I had my appointment so guess what she did she left me sitting out in her chair for 2 HOURS!
The only reason I didn't leave was because my hair looked completely disgusting! Not one of the other girls came in and offered me anything to drink at that time, the owner passed by so many times and never took the time to ask how I was doing, when she finally came back she said she had to leave to pick up her daughter, so there went another 30 mins, I had told her I needed to be out of there at 5 for work, I had to call in because she was not even working on my hair, it was a horrible experience and she still charged me full prize.honestly save some money and time this girl was talking smack about sally products but sally products is what I had to do after she was done with my hair a d it's the only thing that fixed my hair.
I will never go to this place again waste of money and time.the girl who did my hair is on the first spot when you go down stairs girl with short hair. I wish I would've know how bad she was at doing hair, and especially before letting her touch my extensions.never again!

I'm new to Waterloo & I chose to go to visions on a whim because it was right cross the street from my work. I was pleasantly surprised. Ashley was able to get me in for a cut and color right when I got off work, she got the color I wanted pretty spot on and she was very sweet and friendly. I will likely be coming back to get my hair cut here often.

I, too, followed my stylist to Visions. Ashley does a great job on my hair and she's so friendly. I love that she's never pushy when talking about products, but always willing to help me pick out something new. I also appreciate the way she always seems to remember the cut I had last time. Then I can just walk in and say, "the usual" and she always get's it right. I definitely recommend Ashley and the rest of the staff!

Visions is a big open rustic/contemporary studio, I enjoy the unique atmosphere of the place. They carry a favorite product of mine, Grund Switch, which is a great sticky texture paste that is hard to find. I believe they take walk-ins, however I only go to a particular stylist so I always book in advance. The real reason I go there is for KATRINA.
A coworker with amazing hair raved about her and gave me her info. Though I used to change stylists frequently, I haven't left her for years now and will follow her wherever she goes. She is professional but fun, she doesn't rush you, yet she's very fast. She does the best platinum I have found and I completely trust her cuts, she knows my style. I like to experiment a bit and she's always up for it and always executes it perfectly. I call these years with her my "good hair years". Can not recommend her more highly!
