Salon TII Gavo

The reviews seem nice, but the online appt app just routes you to the phone (Why?!?!), and when I called I was so put off by the pretentious "We don't work weekends because we're a family oriented business" voicemail tripe that I decided to take my grey roots elsewhere. I'm pretty sure most humans have families, including other salons.

Great experience! I have curly hair and Tamara took her time to explain how to better care for it. And I love the cut!

Friendly staff, reasonable prices. I have been here a couple times, the most recent was for my daughter's birthday, she wanted some fashion colors for her hair. the stylist was so kind and patient with her. she explained what she wanted and it came out exactly the way she wanted. never had any issues since I have been going here. all of my services have been for hair coloring

Tamara at salon TiiGavo in Fairwood square. I just took a chance, and feel like I won the lottery. She's an amazing artist! I have short fine difficult hair. So happy to have found her!

So excited about my Deva haircut and so many new curls popped out. It is still a work in progress trying to decide how to style it! I was in the chair when Inslee made his announcement. I do feel lucky!

Tamara is wonderful and both my fiance and I won't be going to any other salon because of it. She does awesome work but also has energy that we really appreciate - she's calm and very kind. I would give Tamara 6 stars if I could. The salon is great too - comfortable and clean.

Tunithia did it again. I left the salon last night with another awesome haircut and beautiful highlights. I told her I wanted a fun change and that is what she gave me. A perfect, sassy haircut for summer fun!

Tamara did an amazing job on my long hair. She layered it just perfectly so that my straight thick hair fell into a natural wave, saving me tons of time in styling and curling. She was very genteel, soft spoken and provided excellent service. I don't usually pay this much for a haircut but upon a friend recommendation, I tried Tii Gavo. I am making this my hair salon from now on. Salon itself was classy and relaxing. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Tamara at Salon Tii Gavo for YEARS! She ALWAYS does an amazing job with my hair! I always get MANY compliments on her work and love going back to her for my cut and color! I would recommend Salon Tii Gavo to anyone looking for great service and exceptional quality! Easy to find in Fairwood!

I tired to get an appointment but their phone goes straight to an answering machine saying their closed, even though their open times say otherwise. So I decided to go to the salon in person, someone was already waiting at the courter. No one said hi, or that they would be with me shortly, after 10 minutes I left.

Since Kirsten left in December, no one left knows how to do a foil. And the prices are very high for sub par work. After 15 years, I am moving on.

I went in today with my 15 year old daughter to have her hair cut before school starts. Kirsten was her stylist and was wonderful, friendly and overall awesome. She was easy for my shy girl to talk to and her hair was cut in the most adorable way! Everyone was so friendly and we will for sure be back!

I always get a good color and cut experience at Salon Tii Gavo. Tamara does a great job and it is easy to schedule all of my appointments. Everyone there is friendly and kind. I never feel rushed and each visit is relaxed. The pricing is in line with that of other salons and the service and results are why I come back.

This place is absolutely wonderful! My daughter went in with a specific hair cut and color in mind. Tanya spent a LOT of time with her making sure everything was exactly what she wanted. Her hair turned out beautiful. Would highly recommend the cut/color services here - have never been disappointed!

I have gone to Salon Tii Gavo for years, but won't be back after today's visit. In the past, I saw Andrea for waxing and she was wonderful. She took her time, and her spa room was not only immaculate, but wonderfully relaxing. It was an experience I really enjoyed. Andrea is no longer at the salon, so I saw Tanya when I went in for a wax today.

I will start by saying the entrance to the building has become littered and shabby, but that is not the salon's fault. I just noticed a big change from the moment I parked, and it seemed to set the tone for my visit. Tanya was prompt, and couldn't have been nicer. Unfortunately, her "station" appears to be a former closet by the entrance, and there is nothing spa like about it.

Everything seemed a bit sad. The lamp was missing a bulb cover, her tweezers, etc were in a drawer that she had to rummage in, and the chair was wobbly. It was quite off-putting. I didn't have to pay for my service, because Tanya dripped hot wax on my favorite coat. She was very apologetic, but by then I just wanted to leave. When I got to my car, I noticed my skin appeared red, which I have never had happen before. I won't be going back to Salon Tii Gavo.

I think of my Salon Tii Gavo time as "my time" because they do such a good job of pampering me. I appreciate all the little extras that make it such a relaxing experience and, most importantly, I get great color treatments and cuts every time. Kirsten is the best and her head massages are TO DIE FOR!

I was referred to Kirstin at Salon di Gavo when I was looking for someone to color my hair. I went in for a consultation and was greeted by a very nice receptionist who made me feel very welcome! The salon is beautiful, light and bright, steam dryers, private shampoo bowls - lots of product. Kirstin was wonderful, really listened to what I wanted and my concerns.

We scheduled an appointment just a few days later and I was again treated so warmly when arriving. I love my color and Kirstin is so easy to talk to - just a very nice experience!

This review is long overdue, but better late than never! I have seen Tanya a few times now (will be calling soon for another appointment), and she is fantastic! I have visited numerous salons (ranging from Stan Parente, Gene Juarez, etcetera) in the last six years, and have never made a second visit to any of them. She has been the only stylist that I have been satisfied (beyond satisfied) with!

Not only does she make you feel extremely comfortable, but she was absolutely professional, honest, and hilarious! The salon itself has a great ambience as well! Seriously, as a previous reviewer had stated, this place is a hidden gem, and Tanya definitely adds the sparkles! See you guys soon! Oh, and reasonable prices too!

It was my first time there and everything was great. I had Maria as my stylist. This was for a men's cut and style, as I've had the same buzzed haircut for 15 years. She was able to cut into exactly what I showed her a picture of on my phone. Very friendly and great conversation. They offered me an adult beverage, and I took them up on it! I would recommend it to anybody looking for a new place.

Best salon I have ever been to the stylists are flexible and very friendly and also the receptionist greets you when you first come through the door I would totally recommend this place for people to go and get their hair done.

2nd time going to Tanya, this time for a cut and full foil. She is a total pro! She basically had an action plan to correct a terrible foil I had from a previous salon and is exactly who I wish I had gone to in the first place. I will be back again and again!

Had a GREAT experience with Andrea O'Brien at Salon Tii Gavo! She was open to my needs and was extremely detailed oriented! My waxing was perfect! One happy customer!

I experienced my first Deva cut at Salon Tii Gavo with Tamara. She was very sweet and did an excellent job cutting and shaping my curly hair. Overall it was a great experience with really friendly staff. My only complaint is that the salon is difficult to find, it's located in an office type of building and the small sign out front doesn't stand out. I had to call and get directions. Not a big deal though!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Tamara gave me the best haircut I've ever had. She was very knowledgeable and gave me lots of good tips for taking care and styling my hair. Will definitely return!
