I did a package. A massage, facial and foot soak. It started out great. Massage was good. The foot soak/ massage was less than okay. I watched my sister get this great leg and foot massage while I got barely anything Then the facial. I was literally put in a room where they keep all their supplies. The light was so dim she could not see my face to do anything.

So I got a basic wash, eye pack and final lotion. Was extremely disappointed with the facial. But my sister said hers was good, which made it worth it, since it was a gift for her is why we went

I was on time for my appointment. Waited 10mins without anyone greeted me. Even though the esthetician and the other staff saw me.she was very rude. Started her work without introducing herself. I want to clean and remove one pimple on my face. But she couldn't get it done. The facial service is disappointed. I also had Starla massaged me. That was good.

I had a wonderful experience at this quaint spa in Bellevue. Amanda did and incredible job helping schedule my appointment and was such a pleasure to chat with. Everyone was so kind and friendly. My massage therapist Rachel was great. She listened to my concerns and made sure to check in to see if the pressure was ok. I love suporting small business, especialy in times like these. It says a lot about a business when they have had some empoyees for over 20 years. Already looking forward to going back soon.

I had my 1st massage at All Star Massage and Spa today and I'm quite pleased. My therapist was Jodie, and she had a wealth of information about supplements and specialists I could seek out for a much deeper dive into my particular medical ailments. She had a very intuitive touch and my tense muscles thank her!

I just have two sessions of massage for neck and soldier pain here with Jeni and trust me 1 year old pain reduced almost by 50%. It was amazing experience for me, After lots of visits to Chiropractor I tried this place. Best part is they accept most of the health care Insurance.

I had a fantastic experience with Rachel in the past. This review is for a different massage therapist, who unfortunately did not introduce themselves, so I don't have their name. I have had dozens of massages and this one sticks out as one of the worst, for so many reasons, but I'll list the top 3. 1 - The massage therapist used way too much oil and slathered it on haphazard.

It got in my hair, in my ear, on my face, and I had to wipe it off before getting dressed. I immediately had to shower when I got home. 2 - their hands were sharp. I am not sure if it was nails or some sort of callous, but I was constantly being scratched and saw scratch marks on my neck when I got home. 3 - there was not much of a technique. They moved fast, did not balance it out side to side, and every movement felt very unintentional.

It felt like they had no idea what they were doing and some of it made me worry I would be injured. I regret not stopping the massage, because I left feeling worse. I can't stress enough that I have had many massages with many therapists and while some have been just so-so, this was bad.

I HAD THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER WHEN I CALLED THE FRONT DESK TODAY! When I was in the facility last week, I talked to a massage therapist Rachel (Rachel is a great massage therapist!) to schedule an appointment on Friday, but somehow this week on Wednesday I received an email saying I did not show up on Wednesday and I would be charged for a no show fee.

I understand there might be a miscommunication there, so I called the front desk today to discuss about it and see if we can work things out. She straight forward told me that it was my problem not managing my own schedule and refused to listen to me when I try to explain to her that there was a miscommunication. She also had this attitude that it's only 25 dollars, why can't you just pay it and stop the conversation. Seriously? Jumping into conclusions and assuming that is your customers fault without listening don't seem like a very wise business choice.

I had good experience with Rachel for sure, but your front desk may need some more trainings. Added on to the Business owner's respond: Thanks for your response. NO message or email was received prioritize my appointment otherwise I would call to reschedule. ONlY received an email saying that I no showed for my appointment. I would love to discuss further if you need more information.

I went today. Booking was easy and Jim did a great job of talking to me about what I wanted work done on. He did great sideline work and neck and head work for my jaw clenching. Online booking is a plus.

Place to go when you have muscle pain and need some relax/recovery. I've been here twice and had Monica for deep tissue massage. I made an appointment via classpass and paid 39 credits for combination (50 min) - I think the original price's $85. You can tip either with cash or card. They don't really force you to tip unlike other cheap massage shops, but you would appreciate her massage and want to tip.

Lots of parking space. You can easily find the building with "Nine" and the shop is in the middle of hallway. I certainly loved Monica's magic-like deep tissue massage. I felt she's professional. The room was very private and relaxing. It was full body massage - from neck, back, to legs. Would love to go once a month.

I purchased 50m Combination massage from classpass and it was totally worth it! They are very kind and friendly. I was late to withdraw cash for tipping but they accept card very kindly (they never force it to do so though!) Massage was 50 min and it was sort of deep tissue massage. I asked to massage a bit harder and it was perfect - deep enough but still relieved :)

With all the benefits that having many businesses share a complex might bring, one downside is that it becomes hard to find organically find a place that provides a service you might want. This is definitely true in the many multi-use buildings and office parks that populate Bellevue. So I found this business not through an active search but through ClassPass (unsure if it is still available at the time of this post).

Since I paid using ClassPass points, my experience might be different than someone who uses the services naturally. Location wise, it is one of the many buildings that surround Lake Bellevue ( I love sushi, crab pot, etc.). The unfortunate part of the lake is that the numbering system of the buildings makes no sense to the observer and you might be running around the lake to find the place you desire.

My advice for this establishment is to go through the parking lot entrance near PumpHouse on NE 8th Street especially if you are not driving there. That way, you are close to the right building. (Aka not the side of the lake with Crab Pot). I knew of the building only because I had an eye appointment at the same place a while ago. If you are new, definitely give yourself time to fill out the medical forms.

I was running late due to a last minute work project so I had to rush through that portion. On ClassPass, I didn't get an option to choose my masseuse. If you have certain feelings about services, I would call ahead to ask for particular things (gender, expertise, etc). I was placed in the room looking out somewhat towards the lake. I say somewhat because due to my position in the chair, I couldn't enjoy it to the max.

The option exists to get a massage done on the lake itself but it wasn't available due to some technical difficulties. In terms of the massage itself, it was fine for me. I'm not an expert but the masseuse was receptive to going harder or softer in certain location. He found places I was tense that I didn't know about and worked them out. We talked about the places I wanted to work on in advance so we could focus on that. It was an overall fair experience.

I made 2 appts with Starla for a medical massage. After a 45 minute drive I entered the building which was air-conditioned and seemed pleasant, but I thought it was kind of an odd place for a "spa". Once I got to their suite the door was open and there was a box fan in the doorway. I said: "Your air-conditioning is not working?" and he said it was not.

I told him I had just traveled a long way and I wish they would have called to tell me as I would have canceled, there is no way I could relax in a small hot room and have a massage, it would feel like I am in a coffin. He said ok sorry, I will tell Starla, she is not here yet. I was there 10 minutes before my appt. before I left I asked him if I could use the bathroom, it was down the hall, shared with all the other suites, again, not what you have in a "spa".I left.

I called the next morning and asked if their a/c was working and he said no but Starla was going to call me. She did call me late in the afternoon and asked me if I wanted to cancel my appt for next week and I said "the a/c should be working by then, right?" And she said "no." I said, "you don't have a/c?" She said "no." I said, "then I won't be coming." She said "ok" and hung up.

I have never been to a spa that didn't have a/c, and, I don't recommend it at all. This happened to be one of the hottest days on record for WA, but even if it wasn't, who wants to go to a spa and be hot and sweaty? Do not recommend this place at all. What a waste of time and gas. Very disappointing. They should absolutely tell their clients up front when they call to book that they DO NOT have A/C and they DO NOT have a bathroom in their suite. Yes, it will deter people who truly are looking for a "spa", but on the other hand at least they will be honest.

It was easy to book and the desk staff is very nice. My issue is that I booked deep tissue and got a very light rub. I communicated about wanting more pressure but she said the body likes less pressure and referred to needing to preserve her hand strength. Also gave off a very anti-vax vibe when I brought up the subject.

I went for ear candling. Super professional. The sitting room had a lovely vibe & great little view of the water, fountain & ducks out back. I was a little nervous; what with the process of ear candling including a leap of trust with a person handling an open flame and wax right next to your face. Now, in this case the person I'm trusting was a complete stranger but oddly enough I found myself feeling at home and easy going the whole time. Totally legit. Affordable. Effective. Professional. All the good vibes. Definitely would recommend.

So unhygienic and stinky place. The therapist herself was dressed very untidy and the whole place smells like sweat. Therapist was not communicating at all and even after asking twice she kept going with the same pressure. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

I've been going here for massages with Starla for the last six months and continue to be impressed. It's really made a noticeable difference for me which I wasn't hopeful for, and Starla makes it easy to do, scheduling, flexible, good conversations, etc. I see they perform a lot of other services too and would recommend her and her team based on my good experiences there.

Worse possible massage place. Went 2 times. Different massage therapist each time. Both had long nails. One had a hang over, smelled like booze and was sipping coffee between massage strokes. I couldn't believe it! Too bad, it's in a great location but apparently can't hire good and professional LMT's

I was in need of a massage due to overdoing it at the gym. I scheduled an appointment with Jim for 90 minutes. I arrived and was greeted promptly. Jim interviewed me for the issues that I wanted taken care of and he did a quick physical assessment. During the massage he informed me that there were things that I should see my doctor about and that massage would not fix it.

Once completed, I felt substantially better. I do appreciate him making the recommendation to see my doctor. I've been to some massage therapists and they recommend multiple appointments. I fully recommend Jim due his extensive background and fantastic massage therapy.

I came for a facial over the weekend and was blown away by Sara! She took such good care of me and my skin and was so knowledgeable about the products she was using. I've already booked my next facial with her! I highly recommend going to see her!

I enjoy coming here monthly for a massage. Starla does a great job. It's very relaxing. If you arrive early, they have a cozy waiting room overlooking the water. It's nice to unwind and get a relaxing massage. In such a busy hectic city it's nice to find a quiet spot near to home.

This place really knows how to take care of their clients. I've been coming here for years and they treat me like family. I see Starla for massage and Sarah for lashes. Sarah is meticulous and kind. I always leave looking fabulous!

I went here with high hopes after reading reviews. Unfortunately maybe medical massage isn't their specialty. I met with a massage therapist twice to receive massages and they didn't seem to help at all, I could barely feel anything, in fact. I mentioned that I would like a deeper massage, but it seemed like that was all she could do. I figured that was fine, maybe I'd try a different massage therapist, and I scheduled a different person with the online form, but when I got there for my appointment, it was the same woman, they had changed people on me without telling me.

Overall the building it's in is kind of run down, but not terrible, but the facility itself actually smells kind of bad. Also the receptionist seems like she couldn't be less interested in you. This was my first experience with massage and it was extremely disappointing.

We've been here for about 8 times now. My wife and I love this place. The deep tissue massages we received from Starla were great and so effective for our back, shoulder and neck tense muscles. I enjoyed the massage too much that sometime fell to sleep with some soft music in the background :-. Very professional and relaxing place to have a massage and we will definitely go back there again. Thank you.

I would give this place a better rating after coming here regularly for months because of Bev, who is fantastic - but I had a terrible experience with another massage therapist who docked me on time and had very poor technique and seemed like an amateur, despite my feedback throughout the session - it was hard to believe she was a licensed massage therapist.

I shared feedback directly with the owner after the session who didn't seem concerned at all by my feedback, said that some people "love" this therapist and I should have just told her to stop the service, putting the onus back on me as a paying customer for the poor service quality I received. All she was willing to do was submit my claim to insurance with 10 minutes docked off to account for the 15 minutes I was shortchanged. I now am seriously considering not returning despite my great experience with Bev.

Went in with a friend of mine this week. One lady was very sweet but I had a lady that was unfriendly. She spent a total of 4 mins slathering me down with the mud mask. She didn't even take the time to get my entire body, my arms were barely covered and my legs and back and sides had a tiny bit. It was absolutely not worth the money and the drive over there to sit in that room with a tiny bit of mud for about 40 minutes.

We were then told to wash it off and leave. They didn't provide additional lotion or anything, I had to ask for it to use after scrubbing the mud off. Wouldn't go again.

I like All Star! The lake view is beautiful and the ladies at the front desk are friendly. And my favorite is masseur Jim! His technique is the hard style I like and he always takes care of my feelings and asks how can he help to relieve my pain. Highly recommend!

Today I visited All Star Massage & Spa for this first time. I had an herbal wrap and signature facial. The experience was so relaxing I fell asleep! The wrap made my skin super soft and the facial was refreshing and my skin came out bright and firm. My esthetician Marylyn was fabulous. She has such a pleasant and soothing voice you have no choice other than to relax. Marylin explained everything step by step and was very friendly and open to questions. I will definitely be back and recommend this spot if you're looking to give yourself a treat or self care!

I called and was able to get an appointment the same day, which is the only good thing. I booked requesting a 90min deep tissue massage. The massage therapist was almost 15min late in starting appointment, we had a brief discussion on what I was expecting- a full body massage with concentration on neck and shoulder and lower back- the aim relaxation.

The massage was only 60 min, with multiple interruptions with phone calls/phone vibrating, and the massage therapist had a running dialogue almost the entire time. The massage therapist had trouble manipulating the sheet making the experience more awkward. My posterior was the only part worked on, it wasn't deep tissue it felt more like being rubbed with a bit of pressure.

No real work on the knots I have. The focus was solely on my back with a little leg work, and after stepping out to check something, thinking the time was up, finally worked on my neck and shoulders. At that point I didn't even want to bring up the time. I was not relaxed at the end of the 'massage' and will not recommend ever going there. A thoroughly disappointing experience.

I had a fantastic massage therapist here and she left. I thought I wouldn't be able to replace her. So I tried a few others and then found another great one here at All Star, her name is Jyoti. She helped me so much. I was able to sleep without pain again!

I really enjoyed having my massage today with Starla. She took great care in finding out the problem areas of my back since my injury. My massage was great, soothing and not painful. She did an excellent job and took her time. I look forward to my next massage here at All Star Lake Spa!

All Star is a little tricky to find (Google Maps took me to the wrong side of the lake) as it is located in an office building. It does overlook the lake which is nice if you're waiting in the waiting area (basic couches, coffee table, water, etc). It took me 4-5 visits to finally find someone that I liked and then when I did, she started cutting back on her appointments!

This is also the first massage place that I've been (I've been getting massages for years since my insurance pays for them) that doesn't offer you water afterwards! I mean, I know I can get it myself, but every other place I've been to has the LMP waiting for you with a cup of water and are asking you how you feel. Here, when I come out, the LMP is back on their phone (which I don't mind, but isn't as professional as other places). I've only tried their massages so I can't speak of their other services but overall it's solid if you can find the right LMP for you.
