After almost 16 years in business, I have made the difficult decision to transition from a full-service day spa to a solo massage therapy, health coaching, and run coaching practice. At Heaven & Earth Massage & Wellness, we seek to help our clients achieve a balance in their lives between stresses and indulgences. Benefits of Massage. Massage improves circulation, which can help reduce swelling from injury and enhance the functioning of the lymphatic system, which controls the immune response. It can also flush wastes, such as lactic acid, from tired muscles to relieve aches and pains. In addition, massage breaks up adhesions from scar tissue, which restores flexibility and range of motion.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy".
Lokte Method focuses on loosening adhesion in the connective tissue at the source of restriction or dysfunction to restore mobility and eliminate pain. In this unique approach the practitioner uses carefully controlled weight to anchor affected areas with the sole of their foot, pinning the affected tissue.

I came here for the sauna. The staff is very friendly and professional. When I first walked in, the music was calm and serene. I was offered a glass of water and it was in a real glass, not a plastic or paper cup to go in a landfill. The sauna is a very good quality Sunlighten brand. I hope to come back soon to experience the rest of their services.

I have been to Heaven & Earth three times so far, and I intend to make this a monthly treat for myself! Alexis has wonderful technique and is really able to get at trouble spots, muscle knots, sciatica, etc. It is peaceful and so relaxing, I can take a mental break from everything while I'm there! Then I feel recharged and ready for the week! I've raved so much about Alexis, that my daughter signed up!
