My wife and I have just had a very good experience at this Hot Springs Water SPA. The place is very clean, the rooms are confortable, the hot tub and the pool have real hot mineral water and it is very clean. The massages were absolutely fantastic and given by professional therapist. The staff, especially Sam, were very helpful and very pleasant. I would recommend this SPA to everyone, it is a very nice experience.

This is not a party place! Very quiet and relaxing. Friendly staff and great massage therapists available. The natural hot spring feeds the hot tub which in turn feeds the swimming pool. Both are perfect in my opinion. Small grounds and limited number of very nice rooms. I would recommend calling ahead before your visit.

Not terrible. That's the best I can say of this place. First off, I was put off by the owner's small-minded attitude from day one. While booking my reservation on the telephone, the owner Jeff was adamant that I arrive at a certain time and no later. He kept repeating that. I told him I understood and would do my best, but that I was driving in from Arizona and could make not make a complete guarantee. Unfortunately, there was a bad accident on the Interstate (not uncommon) and arrived about 90 minutes later than planned. Needless to say, Jeff was very unhappy about this and proceeded to tell me that he didn't like working past office hours. Folks, that's ridiculous.
I've worked in the hospitality business and it's a given that a.) you are always on duty and b.) you are always hospitable to any guest who arrives - no matter the lateness of the hour. I Second, when I booked one of his "fourhanded" massages that recommended on the phone, I was rather surprised to see that he and his wife, the two therapists, expected the two guests (one of which was me) to take turns massaging them.
I personally think this is unprofessional. As for the so-called "breakfast, " mine was nothing more than a poor man's spread of the most inexpensive stuff, like something you get from a generous Super 8 motel manager when he's in a particularly good mood. Finally, I personally think the name "spa" is utterly misleading as to be laughable. I've travelled in 24 countries and worked in the Swiss Alps, so I know what a real spa looks like.
In my opinion, this place is no spa. It's simply a converted mid-Century motel where people take their clothes off and walk around. I won't be coming back. Responding to the owner's post, 7-9-2018: Yes, I was indeed there. I can't make this stuff up nor would I. Yes, he and his wife had me and another lady massage them, which I thought was odd to say the least. Yes, the office closes at 5pm but again, that's ridiculous.
Any person working in hospitality -be it a small town motel owner or the owner of a Bed and Breakfast- knows that you're essentially on duty 24 hours a day. If you don't want to do that, then for Heaven's sake don't operate any kind of lodging because it's appallingly unprofessional to close the office at 5pm. I rest my case.

My husband and I visited here on Oct.6 to celebrate are 20th wedding anniversary. It was our first time. I was more nervous then he was. We ended up getting a room. The 2 days there were very relaxing and enjoyable. I became a little more comfortable, with walking around without clothes on. We plan to go back soon.

May I submit a VERY late review? I stayed here eight years ago, but always remembered my stay and still keep hoping to return one day. The positive reviews on here accurately describe my own experience staying at Living Waters. I've been to many spas and hot springs since, but Living Waters stands out as one of the best such experiences I have ever had, with some of the most incredible waters: they left me feeling as completely rejuvenated as I've ever felt. Can't wait to make it back to Kismet!

The place is Heavenly. Sweet, accommodating owners, great guests, very open accepting attitudes and a sweet spot to relax and be tranquil. Jeff and Judy are not only amazing massage therapists but also leading figures in the body acceptance movement. Very knowledgeable and educated. They've done lectures for my university courses on several occasions and received many accolades.

Very relaxing, calm and enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I visited on a day pass on a Tuesday, about 15 people were there by the end of the day. We enjoyed the 3PM gathering in the hot tub; good conversation. The sauna was wonderful, after I figured out how to use it; got it up to 170. We will definitely return the next time we are in the Desert Hot Springs area. Thank you.
