Silken Body Day Spa

I'm thankful for the appointment reminders and advertising. My therapist was amazing! I couldn't have asked for better attention to my requests. She has the most amazing calm about her which is so important to me. Thank you.

I've visited Silken twice before this time and each time I get the 4hr $160.00 pkg. My first two visits were FABULOUS. The message was over the top relaxing, mani and pedi were beyond beautiful and my facial was so rejuvenating and refreshing. This time. the receptionist wasn't pleasant AT ALL. I should have turned around then because exceptional customer service is a MUST for me being that that's my profession for the past 25years.

The message was subpar but she was soooooooo nice and professional that I just continued on with the service. She also did my mani and pedi. The pedicure came out BEAUTIFULLY done, my nails; well. the shellac and regular polishes don't have mates but I was like oh, well, polish not matching is NOT the end of the world. My facial was rough and was supposed to be an hour long (I thought).

It was around 20 minutes but, to my surprise it came out EXCELLENT but I wanted my ENTIRE HOUR! I've bragged to lots of women about Silken. Unfortunately, I won't be going back. If I could say anything good about today it would be Joanna. She excelled in customer service. I left her a tip. I wish I could've seen her before I left to tell her to keep up the great job. This is the first time I've left a day spa and felt blahs afterwards. I really hate that because I liked Silken Day Spa so much!

I got a massage from Johanna. First let me say I have had hundreds of massages and hers was by far my favorite. I came in with a headache and she got rid of it. Her pressure was on point. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

The masseurs did an incredible job ad could not than her enough times. I truly enjoyed my experience at Silken Body Day Spa and I have already referred my friends to them. I had a lot of back pain as I went there, but it was all gone after the massage. I received incredible attention from beginning to the end and I definitely will come back again. 100% recommend!

My whole family (even my husband) have been going for years. We love the people and service. It is a wonderful place to feel pampered. We have done everything from nails and toes to facials and massages. It is all great.

The actual massage was great. I am appreciative because it was a gift. But the table I was being massaged on was squeaking the entire time. Also they were moving chairs around and sliding them on the floors the entire massage. It was loud and they were doing my partners facial while I was having a massage and telling him all about the facial. I wanted to relax.

But all that aside, the actual massage therapist was awesome. Then, we go down stairs for manicures and pedicures. I didn't feel like the place was clean or up to code. I think the business would do a lot better if they did some basic upgrades and just made the place look nicer. When your building looks rundown, I'm not going to feel safe with you using nails equipment on me.

The rocks that they used on me, they were warming up in a lone star community college plastic cup that was all worn looking. The lady doing my nails had little experience with nails. I could tell she was nervous. Hey, more power to your business for giving someone a chance. but don't practice on paying customers paying you hundreds of dollars. My nails did not look good painted.

They are streaky. I got concerned because when she was trimming my nails, she almost cut my skin with the nail clippers. It was just really odd to have someone with no true nail art talent working in a "spa". Then when my pedicure was done they rushed me out. They didn't even want me to finish letting them dry. They had no drying lamps or places to sit.

This place is not set up properly to be a nail salon. It's just something they have added to make it a "spa". But me and my boyfriend had a nice time regardless. We will be checking out other places in the future.

Purchased a spa package. everything was wonderful until the nail spa. Sat for 15 minutes with methylated cream on my legs and paraffin on my feet, FREEZING, while they serviced two other clients. you would think that if a customer makes an appointment, and pays the prices they require, that they would be treated better.

I was a first time client yesterday. I called in the morning and they were able to get me in for a 60 min hot stone massage in the afternoon. Miss Victoria was wonderful! She was curteous, professional and a great masseuse. I am really excited that my husband got me a package of three.

We have been clients for 15+ years. Staff are extremely efficient, caring, humble and respectful. Appointment scheduling is easy and accommodating. Facility is spotless and offers an area for celebratory occasions. Massage therapy available for customers as well. Love this place.highly recommend.
