I've been seeing Jennifer for a few years now and also through my pregnancy. I can't speak highly enough of her. She is amazing and unfortunately, I've moved away from the area and can't seem to find anyone that event remotely compares. She really is phenomenal.

My son bought me a 30 minute massage gift certificate for The Healing Touch for Christmas. A couple of weeks ago I finally had a chance to use it. I called The Healing Place to make an appointment. I explained to the lady who answered the phone that I wanted to pay the difference to schedule a full hour since I thought 30 minutes was not enough time to get a good massage.

I arrived the next day a few minutes early for my 9:00 a.m. appointment. There was no one in the lobby, but I did hear someone in the back, so I sat in the the lobby. A few minutes later, a lady came from the back. When she saw me, she handed me a clipboard and told me "Fill out the forms". She did not say hello, introduce herself, or smile. She seemed that she was not happy to be there.

The lady went back into the back room and I started filling out the forms. I had just finished filling in my contact information when she came out, with some type of bottle in her hand, and asked me "Do you want heat on the bed?" I was not sure what she meant. I have had a few massages in the past at other places and I had never been asked that question.

I said to her "I don't know". She then, mockingly, repeated what I had just said ("I dont' know") and then said "You either want heat or you don't". At this point, it was really obvious this lady did not seem happy to be there and I wanted nothing further to do with her. I handed her my certificate, told her I was not interested in getting a massage and left.

I waited about a week to submit this review because I thought someone would wonder why I was not happy and that person (the boss, owner) would contact me since I had left my contact information. I have heard from no one. So it seems obvious to me that there is no concern for the customer at The Healing Touch. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE A couple of weeks after I posted the review, I did get a letter from the owner.

She apologized for my experience, offered a free one hour massage, and also reimbursed my son. When I showed for the appointment, the therapist from the original appointment was there. She apologized for the way she behaved at the appointment and said she had a lot on her mind that day. The owner gave me the massage and did a nice job. I feel they were sincere with their apology and did what they could to make up for the initial experience.

Teresa & Maureen are great therapists that know what they are doing. Can be tough to get an immediate appointment sometimes as they are in high demand, but it is worth the wait. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a good massage.

I have been a returning customer for the past six months at Healing Touch. Miss Mary is an excellent massage therapist with highest regard for customer service. I recommend HT to all. A great experience 90 minutes at at a time.;-

I have had 3 massages now at the Healing touch with owner, Maureen Knight, and she's fabulous! I had prenatal massages and she has taken great care of me. She has been massaging for many years and I can tell! The staff is professional and very kind. I feel well cared for when I go and I enjoy her technique. I recommend!

I went to Healing Touch to help me with chronic muscle spasms related to a back injury, and neck and shoulder issues related to my profession as a choir conductor. Mary Teal is a godsend! She is the only massage therapist I have met who can work effectively when I was unable to lie face down. She is compassionate, knowledgable, and very skilled. She gets a 5 star rating from me!

Great experience! Im in from out of town and had the day off from work so I found The Healing Touch from google and chose them because they were close and had great reviews. Jennifer called me back to schedule a 90min massage as I had requested. She was friendly and professional. The massage was great and tailored to my specifications based on what I wanted to get out of it.

Everything was comfortable and relaxed. So happy I chose them out of approx 3-4 others all within a mile of my location. I would definitely go back if Im in the area again and have time. Thanks again Jennifer!

As a long time client, I just have to say that The Healing Touch is what helps this grandmother keep up with her very active grandkids. Although I primarily see Maureen, I have also have had the opportunity to receive wonderful massages from each of the staff. Each time, I feel that they have a vested interest in what my expectations are (areas that need a bit more attention, recent stress areas, etc.) and those specific areas are addressed. I leave there feeling so much better! Love you ladies!

Unprofessional business and I would warn you NOT to waste your time as these folks don't care. They have posted the hours for Saturday appointments 9am-2pm. I arrived for my scheduled appointment @ 9:40am the office was dark and locked so I waited and then called the office no answer then I called the owners cell phone which is on the office door and left her a voicemail with no response even now two hours later.

The therapist showed up late and asked if I was there for a massage and I said I was. she then made up a excuse and said she left her keys at home. Really? I replied and you could not call to inform me? Another excuse my phone is not connected to the office? What? So I replied you didn't take down my number? I would be understanding if I had been informed.

No customer service period. I got "I'm sorry " as she walked up the stairs never once offering to do anything to keep my business! Just WOW. I'd pay twice the $70.00 to never use them. There are so many groupons offering discounts. Mary was the therapist that I was to see. You have been warned.
