I went here a couple times and had an appt for june 3 scheduled over a month in advanced. Just found out today, june 2, that the stylist is leaving so my appt was cancelled. I leave for a trip in less than 5 days and I was really counting on this because I needed my hair done extremely bad. I'm more disappointed that I found out the day before that my appt was cancelled and that they had absolutely no availability within the next few days. I get salons are busy but I had my appt for over a month and this would've been nice to know a few weeks ago so I could get another one scheduled.

I had a facial with Ava, and it was the best I've ever had! She was very professional and fun! I will definitely be back!

I went here after another Ankeny salon wrecked my hair. The vesta stylist was honest & told me I really needed to let my hair grow out to fix it. She didn't try to sell me on services that I didn't need-she was honest! I'm so glad I listened & will continue to do business here. They've done an excellent job on my hair~I highly recommend!

I called to cancel my appointment as I needed to reschedule. The person at Vesta then told me my stylist is no longer there. They did not call me to let me know. They said they changed me to another stylist and said that I called and changed it, which did not happen! I a not a fan of that at all. Disappointed with this behavior. I went back and checked to make sure I had not missed a call from them, and did not.

I would have driven 30 miles for my appointment with a person I had chosen and only to find out they had not notified me before I drove up this Friday. Prior to this I have thought this salon was ok., They need to notify people.

I love this place! Such a low key, relaxing atmosphere. The pedicure area is so nice! All the girls are so friendly. Marissa does a great job listening to her client and delivering exactly what they're looking for!

I've been to Vesta several times for a haircut and always had a great experience! The ladies are knowledgeable and helpful. I've seen Christina every time and she's the sweetest. She listens to what I want and I've always walked away happy! The other reviews are several years old. older than the time I've been in Ankeny. So maybe don't take the advice of a 6 year old review. In the nearly 3 years I've been going there, I've always felt wanted and welcome and treated well.

I have been going to Vesta for about 2 years now. No complaints. My stylist Natalie is the most beautiful, kind, best stylist I have ever been to. As long as Natalie cuts hair and I live in the Ankeny area, she will be my go-to period.

Beyond the BEST facials in town! I highly recommend you give this salon a try! Love the time with Julianna!

My Stylist is Tatum and I've had her for awhile now and she is absolutely amazing. I never have to worry my hair wont look like I want it to because she does a great job at understanding what I want and even make suggestions if it doesn't sound realistic. She is always pleasant as is the rest of the staff and I Highly recommend anyone who is looking for a place and isn't sure. You will never go wrong with these guys!

I went here to get my hair done in an updo for a wedding with the wedding party. I was not impressed with my stylist, the minute I saw her hair I wanted a new person, my hair looked like it had been done by a drunk sorority girl and I paid $53 for it-sad. Thank god the brides hair looked nice. The thing that irked me most was how blase they were about having 6 of us in there wasting our money at their salon, not one thank you, no congratulations to the bride on our way out, nada.
