Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value My friend has been crying for a week over her new haircut, the back is uneven and choppy and the color she asked for came out completely different, her life is ruined, she will never be the same again.

Jessica did an amazing job! I don't come here often because I like to tame my curly hair at home. However every now and then I like to treat my self with a blow out and flat iron just to live the straight hair life for a bit. When I sat in Jessica's chair with my hair pulled back in a bun it's very deceiving how much hair I actually have. When I pulled the hair tie out and my hair jumped out into its full form. Spanning about a foot out all around my head, the look of terror in Jessica's eyes nearly scared me as well.

But she spoke to me calmly to find out what I was looking for and she accepted the challenge. 3 hours later (because I have so much hair) I had perfectly straight hair with some layers put in as well. Thank you for being professional and making me feel comfortable!

I've been a customer of ROY for many years now, and today I went to the Fair Lakes location b/c I couldn't get in at the last minute at Fairfax (my usual spot). I was scheduled with Jessica, a very friendly and highly invested stylist. I adored her and I LOVE my haircut. She took so much time with me, explaining things as she went, sharing pro-tips on my hair and how it might style well, especially with the shorter style I was getting. Mostly, above all, she was a doll; so kind, so thoughtful in the generous way she took care of me. She's not getting rid of me now.

A friend who usually has great, spot-on recommendations suggested I try this salon/stylist - very disappointed that I did. Woman washing my hair was friendly and did a great job - otherwise - the experience was awful. Disorganized and out of control receptionist (guessing she's new), rude, slovenly stylist and the worst haircut ever. My hair looks like I hacked it off myself.

It is going to take at least 6 months to grow this mess out. Seriously confused by my friend's recommendation and the other reviews - horrid experience for me. Update - the manager of the salon contacted me after I posted this review - she has some serious customer service skills and handled the situation as well as I could have expected - I am grateful for her help.

I went in for my first apt with ROY and had Jessica work on my hair. My experience was amazing since I got there. The salon was so clean and my apt went smoothly! Jessica was amazing! I wanted to change my hair color to my original hair color or get as close as possible to my natural hair and Jessica was so patient with me and helped match my color and did exactly what I wanted done to my hair! I've never had a apt as great as this one and I defiantly recommend coming here and Jessica as a stylist! Love my hair!

I have always had wonderful service and Tessa, my fantastic stylist and colorist is AMAZING. However, I called in today to reschedule an appointment for next week and the front desk person was new, but completely incompetant. It took 5 different calls, texts, emails to reschedule with my stylist, who she originally had wrong as Tissa after I spelled out Tessa's name.

I am honestly not sure when my true appointment is and if it is with my stylist! I understand being new, but this was complete and total failure. I asked to speak to someone else and she told me "she could handle it". I love this place, but this is just crazy. I would like to speak to a manager.

So first before I begin my review, know I don't normally take the time to do this. I've had some nightmare situations with trying new hair salons, thus once I find someone I'm completely loyal to that stylist. In this situation, I moved into the area and was needing a cut and color to match my natural hair color. I had looked on Groupon and on google for salons near me that had incredible ratings.none stood out. However, I expanded my search and found this salon.

I decided to try it, however wasn't expecting amazing results. When I called I specifically requested Rebecca, as I had read her profile and felt like she would be a good match. I was able to get in later that day, which was surprising. When I arrived, Rebecca was waiting on me and greeted me with such friendliness. I immediately felt comfortable with her and after sitting down to talk to me about what I was wanting she began to mix the color.

The entire visit was comfortable and I felt like I had known her for years. The end results were incredible! She matched the color perfectly after eyeing my hair for only a few minutes. The cut was super cute and exactly what I wanted! I had asked a handful and then some of other stylists prior to her to give the exact same cut-evening showing them the same picture I showed Rebecca and none could even come close!

All this to say that Rebecca is by far one of the most talented stylists I've ever encountered! Her work is awesome and her customer service is equally as incredible! No way would I ever go to someone else!

The salon is classy and modern and Katelynn is the best! She's extremely talented, truly listens and is a lot of fun. I never leave an appointment with her unhappy and without feeling like a million bucks. I travel all the way from Baltimore to continue to see her and I don't plan on stopping!

Kandice V. is the best stylist ever. She was born to cut, color, highlight, and style hair. I brought in a picture of a hairstyle and she worked her magic. My hair looked even better than the photo. She is very nice, pleasant to chat with, and listens to exactly what you want. I have changed my hair cut and color several times. She has never disappointed me.

She has a special talent for this line of work. Even after working long hours, she always does a top notch job. I get compliments several weeks after getting my hair done, from all different kinds of people - men and women! They don't just say "oh you got your hair cut". They say "WOW - your hair looks really great - who did that?" Kandice is my girl. Go to her - you will be so glad you did.
