I had a pedicure and shellac manicure with Poly and it was the best nail service I've ever had! Poly was so sweet, attentive, and accommodating. My nails looks amazing, but the whole experience was wonderful. I originally came because of a gift card, but I'm so glad I found it because I will be a returning client for sure!

Came in for facial (acid). I wasn't sure what type of peel to get, and even considered micro needling. Sonja was patient with me and made recommendations. We ended up doing VI peel, which addressed my most immediate concerns (pores). Sonja did a great job, I will be back to see her.

I had Sarah for my microdermabrasion/chemical peel and she was great! She was very knowledgeable and talked through everything that she was doing and what she thought of my skin. She let me know what her recommendations were on how to treat some acne and help with some spots where I have enlarged pores. She was very gentle with everything and I never felt uncomfortable during the entire appointment. I would definitely go back to see her.

I had a pedicure with Julie that went well, however, I was not notified nor was it posted online that there was an increase in price until AFTER my service was completed. Please let your customers know prior to services being performed that you have increased your costs or honor the price that was given when booked. I did not argue because I did not see the value in fighting it after I had already had the pedicure.

If I lived in Troy, MI or nearby, I think I'd be a regular client at Schenden's Medical Day Spa. What I have learned without even being there is all positive. I bought a $100 gift certificate for a friend and leader. As it turned out, due to the construction on H75 and challenges to get around in the area, she was unable to use it during her short Michigan vacation. The staff at Schenden was remarkable kind and professional. Due to the circumstances and having only one location, they reimbursed my funds. Many thanks, Schenden!

Rebecca and Sarah are amazing. They are both warm and professional. They really know what they are doing. I will keep going back to see them. The office, however, can be very frustrating. I've booked many appointments the last few months. All of the relaxation appointments I booked inevitably ended up with a call to ask if I could come in earlier.

Since I was booking after work or on busy weekends, I usually couldn't accommodate. Over a month ago, I booked a couple's massage for my anniversary. I needed it at a specific time. I was asked to come in early again and I agreed. Two days before I called to say that we couldn't make it early (though I tried) and I was told it was not a problem. Then, the day after I got a call to cancel the whole appointment due to someone being out.

I spoke with Laura who seemed to have tried to find someone else to come in, but had a "just deal with it" attitude that made everything worse. I was very much looking forward to an anniversary couple's massage. Now I don't have enough notice to find some place else. She pretty much told me that this shouldn't be surprising because they are short staffed like everyone else.

Maybe it was a coincidence this happened after I called to say I couldn't come in early. And, I do know things happen. But it's very disappointing since it was for a special occasion and I felt the approach about it was careless. So, I'm not saying don't come here. They do have very knowledgeable people providing some great medical spa services. But I don't think I'll be returning for relaxation services. It's not worth the frustration. When I called back to cancel an upcoming appointment, she was apathetic and perfunctory about it - seemingly not caring to lose a customer.

Laura C provided me with excellent care! I walked in unsure what would be right for me and she was full of great recommendations. I ended up getting two chemical peels and a few rounds of dermaplaning + microderm : Thanks Laura!

Poly is the greatest for facials! She is very educated about different skin tones and textures, I take my whole family here for facials and massages. Very clean and relaxing! We love Schendens and their wonderful staff! Highly recommend! Reasonable prices with top of the line service!

My favorite get away :-) I've gotten many services here (pedicures, various facials, massage, etc.) and have been pleased with every visit! I normally go to Sonja for my facials and she's phenomenal. My skin has always had issues, but since seeing Sonja every month my skin is in the best condition it's ever been. I now receive compliments on my skin (this has never happened in my life)! I highly recommend Schenden's for any of your spa needs, they have great discounts for Beaumont employees and spa packages too!
