Just want to give a major acknowledgment to Michele, my new stylist at Hairport. Michele was recommended to me by a good friend. I was miserable with a recent haircut and went to her for a consultation, after which I made an appointment. The results were outstanding. Not only do I love my hair, but strangers are stopping me with compliments! I've given her information to a number of people, as well. My deepest gratitude to Michele for a job well done!

I moved to VA and my coworker suggested I go see Shelby at hairport because I was in desperate need to find someone new to do my hair and I went to her for some fun Halloween hair and it turned out amazing! When it faded, I went back for a fall balayage and again it turned out amazing! I got so many compliments with both hair colors. I cant wait to go back to her soon for a new balayage and a trim! :

I first chose this salon because I heard they had great COVID policies. When I arrived, I called from the car so they could screen me before entering. Everyone wore masks and only about 6 people were in the building. Lots of shields and safety measures so I felt comfortable. The haircut I got from Abby was the best haircut of my LIFE! It's so hard to find stylists who know how to cut curly hair, and Abby's as a breath of fresh air. She gave me exactly the style I was looking for and tips on how to keep my hair curly. Would definitely recommend!

What a fabulous place.my 1st experience with the nutter Jane and the delightful Amy ( I hope that's your name ) i walked in and felt totally at ease.of course i also walked in unaware i had a GAP in my teeth .My hair looks fab.you went to so much trouble to make sure I was totally happy with it.thank you so much x

Best experience I've had at a salon in a long time! As a busy mom who ignores her hair, I needed help! Please go see Shelby at Hairport, she was excellent. Truly cared about what I wanted, did before/after pictures of my hair, and spent quality time discussing the plan for my highlights. Excellent cut, color, and style. Fantastic results, so happy!

I had my hair up and make-up done by Jane and Sharn (sorry if I have spelt that incorrectly) unsure of what I required. They both advised me without being pushy and the compliments I received all day and evening were amazing. Cannot recommend them enough.

Nicole H. has been doing my hair for several years, and she just gets better and better with time! In addition to doing an outstanding job on my hair cut and color, she was very accommodating, making sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. I've been going to Hair Port for almost 5 years at the recommendation of my mom. Having curly hair, I have bounced around from person to person trying to find someone who knows how to cut it correctly. My mom and I see Ryan (her real name is Michelle and Ryan is her middle name). She is awesome! Always listens to us, makes sure we're completely satisfied. Does great color and highlights. I bring my 2 teens to see her as well and they love the cuts she gives them. Highly recommend this place and especially Ryan!

I went in for a shampoo cut and blow dry I had Holly and she was absolutely amazing I made an appointment to come back to get my hair colored by her and she's so friendly and knowledgeable.

I saw Matilda today and it was an awesome experience! She was knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. I have a sideshave and a fairly angular haircut and some stylists are hesitant when I tell them what I think I want. Matilda was really positive and excited to make me look badass: I am thrilled with the result and can't wait to see her again!

Always excellent service for everything, hair color, cut, and pedicure. Friendly, extremely efficient staff.

Disappointed today when I tried to book a mini foil. I only wanted a few low lights. I recently had a full haircut and mini foil at Hairport and was thrilled. I liked it so much I wanted a little more of the color. I was told that mini foil is an add on service and I must pay for a full service of some sort like shampoo cut and blow dry. Well, some of us can't afford full service. I'm a school teacher on a budget.

The receptionist made me feel badly. By the way I have been a customer if Hairport on and off for 25 years. I take my college age daughters to Hairport. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Hairport should recognize it is better to work with people than to make them feel badly when they only want something small done and to nickel and dime people is not the way to do business.

Had a facial today with someone new. Andrea! Been a while since having a facial, but after experiencing a suburb waxing from Andrea, decided to try her facial. WONDERFUL! Her touch in so light and results so outstanding, can't wait to schedule a summer facial and look forward to continuing my regular waxing. Hairport.5 star on all services they offer! Just saw this post is in the name of my husband. Tried to change, didn't work! LOL

It's a good salon, not very grand or fancy but comfortable, how ever too expensive. All the services are very expensive! They do a good job.

Comfortable, clean and calm atmosphere. Very well appointed - the shampoo chairs had a recline & massage function - it was great! Very friendly staff, a variety of beverage options including cappuccino's & lattes! Rates are very reasonable, too. My stylist was was exactly what I was looking for in a new stylist. She understood my hair right away, was very informative about what she had in mind and understood the subtleties of a short haircut with fine somewhat thin hair.

No doubt I will go back; I think I have found the person and place for my hair! And it only took one try! I was referred to Hair Port by some colleagues - glad I took the recommendation! There website is currently just a landing page that says more info coming soon. I do think this should be a priority for them for visibility for new clients - especially for the rates. I had no idea how much I was going to pay for my visit but it was very reasonable. 4-stars because the website is not really informative but definitely a 5-star experience.

Adrea is the Best! However I had to stop going because of it being so costly. However if I wasn't on a budget, I would've continued going. Adrea would spend unconditional time with me in the beginning and really listen to my hair needs and concerns. She was very encouraging and made me feel comfortable at my first (most important) visit.

Most of the staff were friendly, however, when my appointment was done on a few visits, I'd feel like I had to rush to give them my money. Sometimes too, you'd get someone who seems put out if they're asked to explain the details of the bill, something I'd like to know if I'm paying $280.00! But all in all, Adrea is an exceptional hair stylist!

I discovered Sonia 2 years ago when my hair stylist in DC up & left. She totally reshaped my hairstyle & I loved it. When I told her I wanted to go pixie last year, she asked if I was sure. I nodded, closed my eyes & when I opened them, it was exactly what I had imagined. She listens, she offers her honest opinion & gives it 100%. Remember to book as far in advance as you can. It's hard to get an appt w/her!

Yes - you will pay $60+ for a haircut, but (and let me reiterate this) it WILL be great. See Dena. She always does a wonderful job with cut AND color. I haven't had my hair colored in a while, but when she's done it in the past it's looked great. I've posted some pics (one of my most recent cut, one from a couple years back with cut and 2-layer color w/ highlights). I'm actually going back in the next month or two for a summer cut. I will post more pics then. I can't speak to the skills of the other stylists, but, again, Dena has been consistently wonderful the past couple years.

I asked for highlights - my hair is very dark and I wanted bright red highlights. My whole head was bright red like woody wood pecker! I asked for a refund and the owner wouldn't even talk to me she had me meet multiple times with someone else. No refund and my hair looked horrible!
