Rene gave me one of the best facials I've ever had. She was informative and helpful with my dryness and gave me small samples to try that are lasting. It was a great experience!

I've had my fair share of deep tissue massages over the years but can honestly say that the one I received from Katy was not just one of the best, but the BEST. She is seriously talented. Beyond the massage, the facilities were clean, well-kept and relaxing. I was so blissed out I could barely open my eyes to leave! Would definitely recommend.

I had a lovely pedicure at Jinsei spa. The spa is organized and professional. Not a lot of availability so they could only get me in for a pedicure, not a manicure/pedicure. It is a relaxing and pretty spa. Good experience overall. Would go back again. Remember to take cash for tips! This spa does not allow you to add a tip to your credit card. They are environmentally aware so don't forget your own flip-flops for after the pedi!

We had a side by side couples massage w hot stones. The massage was wonderful. The room was dim and relaxing. The ladies that did our massage were professional and kind. We were invited to stay and use the steam room afterwards which we did not know was an option or we would have planned on it. We will definitely be back!

I've been traveling to Bend for over 10 years and always make Jinsei a regular part of my visits and a necessary one as well. The therapists are as technically sound and as gifted to the touch as any I've encountered in 45 years of massage.

Just had a deep tissue massage with Jayne - the amount of pressure she used was perfect. Felt awesome.

My husband and I have been going to Jinsei regularly for deep tissue massages for about the last 2 years. I also get the occasional pedicure. We've been very happy with our experiences there - prior to covid, we loved using the steam room. The facilities are very clean and I love how everything smells like eucalyptus. I have tried out many of the masseuses there and found them all to be professional, but it took me awhile to find one who matched the style of massage I was looking for.

If you can, I'd advise describing exactly the kind of massage style you prefer so they can match you with the right person, and also understand that it might take awhile to find that person, but it's well worth the investment! On that note, they have a spectacular sale at the end of the year and if you can manage to budget for an entire year's worth of spa treatments, it's a huge savings to purchase yourself a gift card at that time.

They also have a points program but it has expiring points and with covid, things got a bit messed up. And speaking of covid, they have had extremely strict and rigorous protocol in place to protect both their staff and the guests, and it makes us feel very safe going there. They obviously care very much about their employees and that makes me feel really good about supporting them.

Wonderful, outstanding, and blissful! I really feel like Jinsei Spa is this BEST SPA in Central Oregon. From booking to walking out the door, they hold your hand every step of the way. They ensure a tastefully elegant and relaxing environment that most spas would do well to take note of in the area. The staff are friendly and helpful and the services are serene! Kudos to all the staff making this spa truly the best I've visited.

Strange experience pretty much from the start. The massage therapist was really awkward. When I first arrived I let her know I was a little nervous since I'm 5 months pregnant and haven't had a massage before while I was pregnant, and instead of reassuring me and explaining how it works her first response was "well do you not want to do it then?".

From there on any time we spoke it was really a strange interaction. My husband arranged for the massage so I wasn't sure if it was just a back massage or what it entailed and I don't know if this girl just doesn't have a lot of experience speaking to people but she made me anxious and I almost left. She kept saying we could cancel if I didn't want to do it every time I asked a question.

I at one point stated that I'm stressed a lot, it seems like I don't know how to completely relax and she actually responded "So you decided to have another kid, smart." When she was massaging my neck, it was a little rough for me so I asked for a little softer and I said sorry, she responded with "I just don't know what you want". When I rolled over and she was working on my neck, I said that felt much better and she said "So you didn't like it before?!" I responded that I did like it, I just thought it felt better that way and she said "that's confusing, I like doing it the other way".

It was just a very very awkward time throughout the entire thing. The massage felt good at times, but next day I am wrecked in my shoulders and lower back. I filled out the form letting them know of my pregnancy and my previous back and neck injuries and mentioned it during the massage, she responded "What injury?" I said that I had filled out the form and she said "Yeah like 5 minutes before you got here." I filled out the form a half an hour before I got there, but anyways, that girl really did not know how to interact with a person at all.

If someone comes in for relaxation and is a little nervous, it doesn't take much to provide a little reassurance and if you are going to say a bunch of stuff to make someone uncomfortable, best just to stay silent. I'm now going to have to wait until Monday to get into the chiropractor to make the pain from what was supposed to be a relaxing anniversary present go away. **Update** I'm sure this place has earned their good rating, and that is why I was going to schedule a different service even after this experience.

However after management just reached out to me to let me know it was miscommunication and the massage therapist was just saying I would be busy with two kids and different defenses that she came up with I wont do business here. I didn't need a follow up call at all, I said my part in detail in this review as well as left a VM and all I wanted was for them to further train this girl so no one else has this experience, but I wrote here exactly the things she said to me, so I'm not sure how these things could be misinterpreted.

So I definitely didn't need a call to tell me that maybe I was misinterpreting things because I was nervous. If that girl had explanations to the things she said, she should have said it then, or she should've been the one to call.

I got the radiant facial and my boyfriend got a Swedish massage. Both were great! Spa is clean, lovely atmosphere, and super relaxing.

I've had 2 massage sessions in the recent 2 weeks from 2 masseuses here at Jinsei. And they are both 5 star. I've been getting regular massage for over 40 years and I've been trained in the art. To be able to say I've found a spa with 2 excellent masseuses is the highest compliment I can pay.

I had an amazing experience at Jinsei with Jacques. He was so professional and his technique was so relaxing and top-notch. I've had a lot of therapeutic massages and his was one of the best! I walked out feeling like butter. My husband also had rave reviews about Karen and the hot stone massage. The welcome desk girls were so sweet and Jinsei also offers a fantastic variety of great products to try in the changing rooms, as well, which added to the nice experience. In my opinion, it's the BEST SPA in Bend.

Being local my friends treated me with a massage GC to Jinsei Spa. I LOVE massages. Coming to Jisei Spa was so easy, started with very easy scheduling assistance. Parking is right by the premise. I was pleasantly welcomed by Lexi, and been taken to the ladies facility, where I was given a locker, robe, and shoes. right there you have a relaxation room with cold water and delicious hot tea, with mix trail.

I have waited for my massage therapist. Most of the time I don't find the therapist successful. However, Alan was THE BEST. He was fully present, listened to my sore places. It showed in the session, where he treated it with such professionalism, and care. Knowing exactly how to create a cohesive flow throughout the session. I took the deep tissue massage. After the session, I did use the steam room what a perfect choice. I hope to come back again. Maybe creating a membership option for locals :

I was vacationing in Bend and decided to book a facial and eyebrow shape. I'm so glad I did! Mai was amazing and really took the time to explain what she was going to do and products she was going to use. The facial itself was wonderful and I also got a lovely arm/hand massage and a neck and head massage. I felt so relaxed afterwards and my skin was clean, clear and glowing. She also did a great job on my eyebrows. Highly recommend. I'll definitely come back when I'm next in town.

While on vacation in Bend, I discovered Jinsei Spa. Karen gave me one of the best Swedish massages that I've ever experienced! The results of my refining facial with Brie were fantastic. I was glowing later during the evening out at a party! People noticed! She also gave me very helpful tips about caring for my skin. I am very happy that I came upon this place. It is very clean and comfortable with a steam room and relaxation room.

Had a wonderful experience with Jinsei from start. Such ease in making a last minute appointment and absolutely stellar services themselves. I booked a massage with Holly and facial with Mai. Both ladies were highly professional and very warm and welcoming. I enjoyed the steam room prior and was happy the place wasn't overly crowded. Will definitely return!

I recently tried Jinsei for the first time. After not having good luck with the cheap manicures and not wanting to spend $70+ at Anjou, I thought I would try here. When I called to make my appointment the girl was very nice and helpful. She worked with my schedule to get me in when it was convenient for me. Upon arrival, the girls at the front desk were very nice.

If you are just getting nail work done, there really isn't a comfortable waiting area. You either have to stand around or sit in the middle of their retail area. The technician came and we settled in. I enjoyed the scrub, mask, massage and cuticle work. I thought she spent enough time and care with all three. The final product thought was good, but not great.

The entire nail isn't polished and you can see where different layers are. The final product was not that much better than the cheaper manicures. Still, the entire experience was better and my nails still do look good if you are not staring at them. So all in all, this is a good 4 star location. Better than average, but not 5 stars. The last comment is that when she was done, she didn't rush me out (they weren't busy), but I never felt that I got a look of "time to go."

5 stars on on levels! We don't live in Bend but went there there on vacation for our anniversary. We chose this spa based on the amazing reviews we read.they were all right on! Everyone was sweet and kind, included making the reservations over the phone. Our couples hot stone massage was the best we've ever had! And our facials were just what we wanted! Thank you everyone, but especially Staci & Rene!

I wanted to treat my out of town guest to a nice massage experience and Jinsei Spa provided exceptional massages for us. The facility is clean and relaxing. We both were so pleased with our massages delivered by Jane and Christina and we felt rejuvenated after our massages. I'm local and will return back soon for my next massage and will definitely choose Jinsei Spa when I plan my next special day with a guest.

Love the Jinsei Facial. Have had two aestheticians provide this deep cleansing facial, and they were both wonderful. The products are amazing. Unlike other "spas, " which can feel like noisy hair salons with lots of hallway chatter and heavy walking, Jinsei is a holistic, peaceful experience. Arrive early and enjoy the steam room and quiet room.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place. It is impeccably clean and relaxing. The staff are all professional, efficient and very kind. I can highly recommend Bree for a facial. She has magic hands! She is very knowledgeable and did a great job assisting me with the proper treatments for my skins needs. Taylor gave me one of the best mani/ pedis I've had in ages. First I must say the building, the ambiance, the decor, aroma is amazing A+! We come from out of town 2-3x a year and this spa is always a priority stop! Have never had less than an amazing massage here until today. My husband had Christina, whom I had last time and she is very in tune to the body and really works, slow and methodically each knot. Perfection!

But today I had someone I had for the first time and it was horrible! Her name is Karen. Her style is what I would say "rolling pin" a lot of forearm rolling over the apparent knots and not ever slowing down to focus on them. It was a one size fits all, fast and determined. to finish. Basically felt like she did not care. She did not work one knot out.

She was very nice and clearly has tons of experience as she said she has been there 10 years when asked ( I feel like she must be burnt out and have attitude of go in, get it done, get out), Unlike all the other therapists that have been amazing. I still would recommend the spa all day long! Just know Karen's style is fast, and unintentional regardless of request of pointing out knots. Not in tune to ones body at all!

I received a Jinsei gift card as a thank you from another business over a year ago. I've tried more than 8 times to use it and Jinsei is always booked. Staff is not overly pleasant or apologetic. They don't need new customers so they don't care if you never come in. They won't buy their own cards back. I will be recommending to the realtor that gave it to me not to use Jinsei. There's no thank you in a card that you can't use.

We did the couples massage and the masseuses were amazing. The space is very relaxing with a coed steam room, tea, infused water and trail mix for while you wait. Robes, sandals, lockers, etc., are provided as one might expect. Bathroom was stocked with plenty of supplies to freshen up post massage, including a hair straightener. Thank you!

This was a great find! I will be back whenever we visit Bend. Great prices and the therapist I had (the French Guy) was wonderful! I'm very picky and often find myself wishing I had not bothered booking a massage. This time I had an excellent experience and walked away feeling very relaxed and happy. I also loved the fact they have a steam room!
