Was my first time. Greeted upon entry and offered water or tea. Brought back to the private nail room. The chair is great. I loved the foot rest. It was a very relaxing and calm experience. Massage was wonderful and the price point is excellent for the service you get. She was gentle, kind and very experienced!

Just visited Amai Day spa and it surpassed my expectations. Walked into a nice clean lobby and friendly staff. Danielle gave an awesome facial she was very knowledgeable and talented at what she does. She is also a massage therapist so I will absolutely be back and hope to try out a massage with her too!

Don't walk, RUN TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! I got a full body massage from Johnathan and he did an amazing job! The place was super clean, smelled great, and all the staff I interacted with were lovely! They have a sign that says it would help the small business keep prices down if you play cash, so bring come cash and help them out! Will be coming again! So worth every penny.

Rebecca is amazing! I had my first retinol chemical peel and my skin looks and feels amazing! I initially went there for microneedling services but after evaluating my skin, Rebecca recommended a peel and didn't think microneedling was the best option. I am so happy I listened to her, my concerns before (mild acne scars and redness) is gone! This was the best peel I've ever had, you definitely see the results and there was no burning sensation at all like other peels. I have to be honest, you definitely want to plan on staying home for a week because your skin will shed but the results are so worth it!

Such an amazing massage. Jonathan greeted me then walked me back to the room. I loved the decor of the spa, elegant and sophisticated. The room was dimly lit, warm, with soothing music. Jonathan asked me if there were specific needs that I needed addressed. I work all day at a computer and was feeling stiff and sore, especially in the shoulders. Before he began Jonathan also asked how much pressure I could tolerate, I said I didn't want to leave battered and bruised, but I could take a bit of pressure. Jonathan left me to get undressed and lay down on the warm table.nice touch.

My interpretation of a bit of pressure and his was a bit different. The massage was intense, just shy of painful, but so very necessary. Jonathan found all of my tight muscles and worked them out. The hour long massage left me feeling so very good despite the intensity. I need to do this more often. And luckily this spa is close by, and I would love to see some of their other services.

Jonathan was so great for my 85 minute massage. Left feeling relaxed and so much better. Will definitely be back!

I love this place! Jonathan is an excellent massage therapist and Rabeca is my go-to person for esthetic services. Trust me, they're the best. The spa is clean and beautiful and the entire staff is friendly and professional!

So peaceful, relaxing, I felt immediately calm as I enjoyed a body wrap and facial. Great experience, highly talented, and plan to return!

This spa is beautifully decorated and for the first spa dqy I have ever had, I can't imagine it being better!

It was my first time for body wrap and I'm impressed how soft my skin is. The place is very clean and the staffs are friendly. If you're looking for a nice spa, excellent service with decent price. I highly recommend Amai day spa. I got a package which include body wrap, scalp massage and body massage. I love every bit of every service.

The nail tech didn't do my cuticle nor did she scrape my feet. She argued with me when I said I wanted my cuticles done & told me to apply cuticle oil instead. So why would I need a spa for that? She argued with me & didn't agree to apply gel on my toes & applied the normal nail paint. She said she won't scrape feet as the dead skin would come back again.

Isn't that the whole point of coming to a spa. Worst thing is she applied nail paint for my fingers & then did the scrub. I hated every second of my stressful spa day. It was a total rip off.

Excellent spa. Exceptional staff. Jamie, the owner, was so gracious and helpful. She really went above and beyond. We both will be back for sure. A little gem in Bothell. So lovely.

This is a solid spa, providing a lot of good services. I went several times in their old location and recently went to the new space. While the new building is not in as nice of a setting, the location is actually very convenient and the spa is beautiful inside. They have completely designed the interior with everything needed for a comfortable & serene spa experience.

On my last visit, I had a body scrub, facial & massage. If you get that same package, I recommend getting the scrub either first or second so that you don't end your relaxing time by getting wet. Unfortunately I forgot who worked on me, but the same lady did the scrub and facial, then someone else did the massage. All were great. I will definitely be back.

I visited here once quite a few years ago when they were in country village, but hadn't been back since they moved to the new location. They send a birthday coupon if you are on their mailing list, so I took advantage of that to make a return visit. I had their "look better naked" package which involves a body scrub, a wrap of your choice, and a moisturizing treatment.

I had a really lovely time and the technician was even able to get me in for a pedicure which I wished I'd booked originally to top off my treatment. The facility is tucked behind a gas station so kind of hard to find, but it's very beautiful inside! The Vichy shower is great and the rooms are lovely. I really enjoyed my visit and will be back!

I am so happy I found this place. It's so cute and Danielle is truly amazing! Everyone who I've met thAt works here is beyond sweet.

Had a wonderful day at the spa! The staff and reception were friendly, and helped the day go by smoothly while contributing to the relaxing environment. My custom facial was beyond amazing, and definitely the best that I've ever had in over 10+ years of getting them regularly. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I would book another in a heartbeat.

I came from out of town for a wedding and needed a lash fill from a bad job somewhere else. I called around 4:30 in the afternoon on a Friday and they were able to fit me in at 9am the next morning. I was so appreciative that they penciled me in so last minute on a Saturday no less! And that they we're willing to fill in someone else's (less than stellar) work.

The front lobby smells amazing and is very relaxing, they offer water and tea while you wait. Everything is clean and beautiful! If I'm ever back in Bothell I'll be paying Amai another visit for sure.

Updated review. Had to downgrade by a star due to not being able to get anyone on the phone during business hours and then having no availability when I need it.

It's been a while I admit I haven't been here since before they moved From country village The massages I have received here were just what I needed And I left feeling refreshed and relaxed each time I'll try to make it to the new location soon

Ian was kind, personable, and gave a great massage. He also made sure I was comfortable at multiple times throughout the session, which I appreciated as it was my first time with a male massage therapist. Jasmine (at the front desk) and I also had a pleasant conversation, which was a nice way to end the visit!

This was my first visit and first time to have a waxing service ever. Rebecca did AMAZING work. I truly was so comfortable during the treatment that I almost fell asleep. She was very professional yet personable. The results were excellent. I will DEFINITELY be back.

Have really enjoyed my services at this day spa. I've had 2 massages, a body scrub and a facial here at different times, and I have enjoyed all the services to date. The business is located in the Country Village shopping village in Bothell, and is a cute cottage tucked away on the far corner of the shopping village. There is parking right outside.

I like this place because the staff are always really friendly, and I find that the services are very personal and good value for money. They also sell a selection of the products they use, but I like that they are not sales people, so I never have products pushed on me, so I can just focus on the services that I am getting! The massages have been my favorite, because they listen to what pressure you enjoy.

The facial was very nice too, and didn't give me any weird breakouts or sensitivity issues, yay! The body scrub was a weird experience, just not for me, others may enjoy it though! The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, is because it is a small cottage vibe, you can sometimes hear conversations in the next room, which can distract when trying to enjoy a massage, the walls are not very sound proof! Overall, a great little spa, and have never had an issue with the staff or my experience.

Want to have the BEST massage of your life? Get in line because the rest of us got here 1st. Ask to book with Cori if relaxation is in order. She's genuine, friendly and very professional without being stuffy. I like that she follows YOUR lead meaning, no chit chat unless you invite it, which is appreciated as I go there for silence and sometimes a light snooze. Ultra comfy massage table, relaxing atmosphere, good smells. Now, if a mani or pedi is what you're looking for, then Amai is your place too!

I had a pedicure and and probably the best foot and leg massage ever! Let's face it. That is really why we all love our pedi's! And it wasn't just a quick 5 minute rub, rub and that's it. Nope, got a full on massage. Plus, the beautiful, sparkly polish is still on, 3 weeks later. Will def be back!

I love the Amai Day Spa. I have had their monthly special pedicures and a massage. They always choose exciting flavors for their monthly pedicure and the women who give them are meticulous in their care for your feet. Reina is the best masseuse! She does an amazing job!

I love Amai! Been going for over four years now for both massage and facial treatments. The staff are very professional and fun, and I always look forward to my appointments. Book Jen for ANYTHING- you won't regret it!

I had gotten my girlfriend a mother day gift for a facial last year, she really enjoyed it so I thought I would treat her again, hopefully making a tradition out of it. The only openings were on the Sat before mothers day. She went in and said it was good, but a little different this time. Adding that the she had told the person performing the facial that she had sensitive skin.

They proceeded putting all sorts of what I can only assume are minerals and other cleansing chemicals on her face. Later that day her face was a little red, but we just assumed it was because of the exfoliation. This is where the story turns, Sunday morning. Mothers day she awoke with hundreds of red mounds all over her face and under her neck. She was horrified, to say the least.

It was Mother's Day, her day and she was meeting family to have lunch. Needless to say she was embarrassed from the way the treatment reacted with her skin. On top of the visual she also suffered from burning and itching. She pressed on like mothers do and made the best of a bad situation. I have since sent the company an email describing the issue we had with the facial, stating that I would hate for this to happen to anyone else.

Maybe it's an isolated event with someone who has sensitive skin, it's hard to say. I have still not heard anything from Amai spa. It's with regret that we will not be able to make this a mothers day tradition after all.

I have always received awesome pedicures from Koko. She is caring and always takes care of my in grown toenails! I would never go anywhere else. Lee also does a wonderful job with my nails. A wonderful, relaxing nail experience. Koko and Lee are the BEST!

In response to Jamie - you are either a liar covering for your staff or completely naive. Your staff searched the spa high and low for days. I personally searched the spa high and low within an hour after leaving my necklace there. It really is an amazing coincidence that within hours after the police visit, my necklace suddenly shows up sitting on a chair.

The "effort" your staff made to search outside was complete deflection to cover their lies. If you honestly believe your staff had nothing to do with it, I highly recommend you get your conveniently broken security cameras fixed because they are probably stealing from you too. On top of that, more dishonesty. I noticed on our receipt that they split the tip amount unequally between the two girls, with 80% going to one and only 20% the other.

I guess in actuality that is fair though since the masseuse was a complete joke who obviously had little to no experience or training. I came out of the massage with a stiffer neck than when I started. Also, your facial was horrible as well. Seriously, dial soap was used to wash my face. I know the smell of triclosan. What a wonderful spa day! "I am very sorry that you lost your necklace at the spa which ruined the experience for you.

The staff made every effort to look for it - even going so far as to search outside. I'm sorry that their efforts to find it appeared suspicious to you as they truly were trying to be helpful. Obviously we are glad that the client found it in the changing room and we were able to return it to you!"

I have been using Amai for waxing needs and herbal steams with Rebecca for quite some time and she is always great, friendly and professional along with the rest of the staffing at the spa. Today I signed up for the massage monthly package and am very excited to have my first massage with Amai next week! After my initial appointment today, i decided to have a pedicure with Hanah and she was wonderful. I highly recommend all the ladies at Amai.

After a rather bumpy start to my wife's spa experience they Amai Day Spa pulled it out of the fire. A very relaxing time in a small oasis in the Bothell Country Villlage.

Absolutely loved it. I was lucky enough to be treated with the "Head to Toe Indulgence" package (massage, facial, hand & foot treatment) plus a 35 minute light therapy session. Best four hours I have every spent. I even have my next appointment scheduled for the following week. Great spot!

Danielle's massage expertise transcends my expectations. Her knowledge and application of technique exceed any therapists' in my history. The atmosphere invites relaxation--wood, draperies, artwork, attention to detail, simplicity meeting extravagance with a refined, elegant touch. Candlelight, pleasant music, heated massage tables, textures and scents all contribute to the peaceful environment.
