Tyrla and Linda are both amazing! I don't live in San Diego anymore, but I lived there for many years, and Tyrla was my waxing MVP! She is amazing! She always did a terrific job, used wonderful products and best of all is among the kindest people I have ever met. When she took maternity leave, her mom Linda stepped right in and did a great job, and was a hoot to talk to! Tyrla is also a wonderful facialist. Best of all, Tyrla and Linda are honest, good people. You will look -- and feel better -- each time you visit.

I have been seeing Tyrla for over 3 years to get my Brazilian wax. She does the best job and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else! As a spa junkie, I have a spa treatment at least once a month and have received treatments all over the US. The treatment I did has been my favorite facial to date! She addressed my concerns, customizing the facial throughout. And my skin feels AMAZING! The spa is very clean and everyone I came in contact with was thoughtful and kind. I went to Tyrla for a Brazilian wax, and she was great! She was gentle, and did a thorough job at removing everything, including tweezing any strays at the end. We had a friendly conversation throughout, which helped distract me from the pain. She even sent me a handwritten card in the mail to thank me for coming in- such a sweet gesture, which goes to show that she cares about her clients and values their business. I will definitely be back.

I went in last Wednesday afternoon for my first facial appointment with Heather. From setting up the appointment, to the actual day of arriving to the salon I was in great hands. Heather is very attentive, detail-oriented and allowed me to ask questions about what to expect for the facial. The spa itself was super chic, clean and easy to find in the plaza.

Once inside Heather's facial room, everything was clean, the bed to lay down on was very comfortable and importantly, Heather's hospitality exceeded my expectations. Before starting she asked me what was my current facial routine, then with that information she went ahead and told me the products she'll be using on my face that compliments my skin type.

It was the best hour I've ever had! Super relaxing environment and I felt at peace getting my facial. No discomfort whatsoever. I definitely recommend trying Heather out for her facials, you won't regret it,

Such a beautiful and well decorated salon. Peaceful, tranquil and relaxing. I had my Brazilian done for the first time and she did an amazing job. Very little discomfort. I would highly recommend this salon for facials, waxing and massage. They use only the highest grade of products and have high personal integrity. Will be a lifelong client.

Great experience! Just had a Brazilian wax and signature facial yesterday and it was awesome! Tyrla was great and made the wax as pleasant as possible. She was professional, personable, knowledgable and informative. I really appreciated her insights to waxing and skin care. She made me feel very comfortable. And the facial was so nice! I only wish it had been a little more quiet in the salon, I could hear people talking in the hallway and other rooms, but that is understandable. I would absolutely recommend TL Spa and I plan to go back!

First timer for a Brazilian wax here! T L Spa and Wellness were quick to respond and I was able to schedule a next day appointment without any problem. I'm not going to lie and say that my first Brazilian wax experience didn't hurt because it was definitely painful but totally tolerable. Tyrla made my experience so much better as well through her outstanding customer service and comfort. Loved this place and I'm glad I came here for my first wax!

TL Spa is the best Ive been to in San Diego. I've seen Tyrla for waxing for years and she is among the best estheticians out there! The brazilian wax is as painless as Ive ever experienced. But its the customer service that keeps me coming back; highly professional and friendly. I would recommend TL Spa again and again, I wont be going anywhere else.

This is my number one place for waxing. I will not go anywhere else. The pricing is decent and it's in a good central location. The facilities are always clean, presentable, and inviting. Heidi is my wife's acupuncture therapist. She's done an amazing job with her for about. 2 years now I think. But back then she was working somewhere else. My wife like Heidi and followed her to her new gig, so I definitely recommend this place. Parking usually isn't that bad, but Sundays are kind of touch and go, especially cuz the "Mexican mall" (I can say that cuz I'm Mexican and I shop there) [Kobey's swapmeet] is right next door and the overrated Phil's BBQ share the same parking lot, makes it kind of hard to find parking. So plan accordingly.
