I have come here a few times for facials and my mom gets both the facials and a massage. They do an excellent facial, my skin feels so much better now. The service is very kind, professional and soothing, they didn't upsell unnecessary products. I will be coming back here for my facials in the future and highly recommend Zen Sanctuary. I know my mom is very pleased as well with the massage as she goes regularly for her back.

Booked a mind-body alignment, didn't expect there are no massage involved. but just a transfer of energy from the therapist hand to my skin, so it's just touching but no strength will be exerted. And it costs $125.

By far the best place for massage, facial and etc. The owners and everyone else who works there are extremely knowledgeable, kind and you'll feel much better walking out of there than when you walked in: I highly recommend Zen!

Went to Zen Sanctuary for the first time today. What a great relaxing massage. Bonny worked hard to make me feel at ease. I wanted to use a gift card from Spa Finders, which had been gifted to me long ago. It was denied because it had no PIN number. I called Customer Service. They had Bonny call yet another number. Bonny stayed calm: she did not get annoyed or try to rush me (which would have defeated the purpose of a relaxing massage).

She answered all the questions. And took down the information. She was very professional. I apologize, and I very much appreciate that they accept Spa Finders. I will definitely go back to Zen.

I made an appointment with Jeanne Marie. I was there because I had a compression fracture in my back and was looking for some relief from the pain. Upon arrival, I asked if she was vaccinated and she refused to answer. She did not wear any type of protective covering other than a scarf. When asked for a summary of the massage and my back she was very evasive clearly wanting me to book more appointments. I would definitely not return.

100% recommend! Had the privilege of Bonny being my masseuse. Desperately needed my shoulders rubbed for awhile now and was gifted a Spafinder gift card for Christmas. I chose the buddahroom massage (aromatherapy), absolutely wonderful! Felt just like I went to heaven and came back!

Zen sanctuary does it yet AGAIN! my fav therapists was not available. i was referred to a new-hire, bonnie woods. bonnie joined the zen sanctuary family this week and i was her first client! what a fabulous session! bonnie 'just knew' where i was hurting- as my body is a tight like a golf ball- and she made me feel ah maze ing! i am a loose woman now. all i want to say is: i love zen soooo much! each and every therapists have their own methodologies and techniques as well as different pressures, etc. can't wait to book another session with this marvelous group. also would love to give a shout out to the owners: david and leah warder. so down to earth, attentive and care for each and every person's needs as individuals. zen sanctuary continually makes me feel as if i am 'family'. who could ask for more?

I finally found my go-to spot for facials & all things self-care. I absolutely loved my Zen facial with Debbie. She is friendly, professional and SO good at what she does. My skin instantly felt cleaner and looked smoother. Extremely relaxing facial & Debbie makes the extractions not so painful. Highly recommend :

Miracle! Had a massage with Chance to treat tension and pain from a fall recently limiting my range of motion with my right arm. I haven't felt this good in years. Absolutely amazing. My arm already recovered 5-10 degrees of motion without catching in pain. I am so grateful. The office is lovely, spotlessly clean and calming- the music mix reminds me of the Downton Abbey soundtrack, lol. Online booking is super easy and I felt very safe inside- didn't see the other clients and Chance kept her mask on the entire time. Just wonderful.

I have been going through a rough patch and really needed to relax. With my mind all over the place, I lost track of time and arrived late. Andrew was understanding, put me at ease, and was very accommodating to what I needed. I found the session (one hour) incredibly relaxing and it really helped to calm my mind and body. Thank you!

I booked two 90 minute massages, one for myself and one for my son. Andrew gave my son a massage and he couldn't stop raving about it. He practically fell asleep on the way home! Head to toe relaxation. I did not get a massage from Andrew. I got a massage from another gentleman. I told him my goal for the day was to be relaxed and to reduce my stress.

While I appreciate his knowledge of the body, pressure points and whatever other types of techniques he was using on me, I was in pain. I told him on two different instances that he was hurting me. I have bruises on both of my thighs. They are tender to the touch. The massage didn't even include a foot rub. He even concluded his massage by telling me that he hopes I'm not into much pain, because he could see that I had been clenching my jaw for the Whole massage. Perhaps my expectations were misplaced. If you go to Zen sanctuary ask for Andrew and you will get your moneys worth. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

One word, Andrew! Andrew gives the best massage. His strokes (is that what it's called?) Are very methodical and it felt almost like art. He uses different touch/method (?) for each body parts i.e: knuckle for my neck, firm thumb pressure for my upper back and shoulders, elbow for lower body, and every single one feels like heaven! I train hard at the gym, and usually go after a heavy leg training and I always feel so relaxed and so light after getting a massage from him. I tried a few other therapist from this place, but I keep coming back to Andrew!

I came here for the first time today during my lunch break and got a 30 minute facial. Debbie was friendly, professional, gentle and explained what she was doing every step of the way. I plan to come back in the future.

Andrew is a fantastic masseuse. His deep tissue massage completely healed me from months of tension. He's very in tune with your needs and has really good technique. He's worth every penny. You'll be sorry you didn't go sooner.

My favorite feature is that there are multiple time slots available and you can book and reserve your appointment online. Reyna is absolutely incredible! This was my first session with her and i came out feeling loose, healed, and happy. She is a true healer and very intuitive.

Best massages in Normal Heights/North Park area. They have lots of options for all different needs and preferences but no matter what you pick, the therapist caters to YOU. Such friendly people, easy to talk to and wide availability. The therapists are independent and run their own businesses--I personally feel this is a better experience for everyone from both the business and services provided perspective. I was able to book online the day before. I've also called to book multiple appointments previously. Easy to contact to make changes if necessary.

Literally the GEM of Mid City and Kensington! David and Leah are my "go-to" for a great massage. They listen to what I want focused and are so good at what they do! If you want the best massage of your life with really nice people who are masters of their trade, then go here!

No complaints I like the specialists here but the fact that they offer a specific massage for pregnant women has been truly helpful. They know the right techniques to use and pressure to apply, if you need a massage or you're pregnant partner needs some lower back relief I would recommend this one above all others. Also I'll have to try out the skin care spa for my wife some time.

I normally don't write reviews, but I really enjoyed my visit at Zen Sanctuary. I made an appointment last week for a massage and facial, both were excellent. Since then my skin has improved tremendously and both my neck and back feel so much better. Will definitely be coming back here more often. The staff was also super friendly and it made my experience 5 stars without a doubt

How Leah could decompress all of that in an hour is nothing short of a miracle. She has an uncanny way of zeroing in on just the right spots and coaxing them to unwind. Pure gratitude

I had a large knot in my shoulder that was affecting my neck and causing headaches. It was quicker to make an online appointment to Zen Sanctuary than to wait for a doctor's or chiropractic appointment. After a 60 minute deep tissue massage and a cupping session, I feel well on my way to recovery.

I had been meaning to visit Zen Sanctuary for a while, since previously knowing Andrew's integrity, and that he had chosen this as a place to provide his services. The venue did not disappoint, he greeted me with green tea, and the facilities were top class. I've tried a few therapists over the years, and never really had a bad experience. With that said, and being as fortunate as I have, my massage with Andrew was top class!

Understanding my recent athletic goals, he listened, observed, and helped correct my alignment while working through some upper body pain I had been experiencing. He has exception self-awareness, and the innate ability to work with client's limitations, even working through the problem areas while contracting the muscles necessary. I'm grateful to know someone I trust and respect, who brings both professionalism and grace to the table, with a level of class that's rare these days. Fantastic facilities and staff!

For years I have been wanting to come here and treat myself to a massage. I was so happy I did so as I had a most relaxing 90 minute one done by Angela. It was very easy booking a massage on line. You do have to give them your credit card info and will be charged if you are a no show. For me I like the convenience of booking on line PLUS they are open on Sundays which is nice.

As soon as you step into the building, sweet, relaxing smells of hand made soaps greet your nose. I was also greeted by Angela whom had me fill out a form as I was a first time client. Angela talks with you thoroughly to understand what may be ailing you or what your needs are. She added essential oils to help with my sinuses and also added a warming ointment to my neck.

The massage was so relaxing and enjoyable that I am going to make a second appointment. She did a terrific job and I left feeling like I was jello and going to melt. Thank you, Angela and Zen Sanctuary!

I've been through over 20 massage therapists over the years and have been dissapointed with every one of them. Finally I grew a brain and realized that getting a message therapist certification is way too easy and that there's a level of education above that, its called Rolphing. After doing some research i came to the conclusion that a massage therapy degree is like a drivers licence.

As long as your not blind and have 2 arms you wont fail. I don't know how most of the people I get worked on from even have jobs, honestly, if i wanted a back scratch I'd get a back scratcher from the dollar store. For a dollar. The amount of times I've left an hour session 100 dollars poorer is depressing, but alas, no more. No longer will I give said scrubs my hard earned dough. Jeanne Marie has changed my life and out of all the great things I miss about San Diegos shes numero uno.

She has Rolphing knowledge, strong deep tissue work, a true understanding of posture and anatomy and divine insight on the individual. After a few sessions a month for a year i finally corrected my life long bad posture and am getting through my back pain way more easily. I really wish she wrote the test on massage licence curriculum because 90 percent of these other imposter healers would be out of work like they should be. Step your game up everyone else. Zen raises the bar. Choose the mind, body, spirit alignment on the site. It's the real deal.

The space has so much calm and relax vibes. Andrew greeted us and was very informative about the services they provided and which ones best suited us (my husband and I) Reyna did a fantastic job on my husband. He has never done cupping and he left so relaxed and feeling great! I am very happy with the service and staff. I would definitely recommend to all first timers and all simply because of the treatment you receive and the vibes. It has a very nice nature smell roaming across the facility. Feels very relaxing when breathing in.

Jaime is by far the best holistic health provider I've had. Her voice sounds like an angel, so calm and soothing. It made me more relaxed. I got the Budharom massage and it was definitely a treat. I usually have tensed shoulders and every time I get a massage, my shoulders become more tensed and I don't feel relaxed at all. With Jaime, she found the right pressure for my shoulders.

If only I live in SD, I would prolly go often. The place is small but very clean and well-organized. The place truly lives its name as a place of zen. There are enough free parking spaces. They have easy access of charging credit cards through an iPad app.

My daughter and her husband booked this wonderful gift for me. It was amazing. First was a facial with Jerry who was very informative and helpful with my skin allergy. Fantastic! Next came a massage with Aubrey, I informed her of the arthritis in my knee and was heading to Belize for hiking ruins later this week. After her amazing massage I was feeling amazing. Aubrey was my massage therapist at the Zen Sanctuary and she was fantastic! She made me very comfortable and listened to my concerns and needs. I had serious neck and upper back tightness for three days. I called Zen Sanctuary and was given a deep tissue appointment with Aubrey. She was fantastic! Aubrey provided the deep therapeutic massage I needed while maintaining a gentleness of touch. She was a true professional. I will definitely see Aubrey again.
