Hands Face Body Place

As a first time client, I used their online website scheduler for a nail appointment 3 weeks in advance, and it was cancelled two days later without an explanation. Since I am not sure why it was cancelled, I don't plan to rebook.

This spa is small but the service and attention to detail is impeccable. Debbie offers pedicures, manicures and facials. Totally relaxing. Reasonable fees. Massages are also available.

Contacted and made appointment through the online appointment setter. No problems with booking the appointment. Nice house tucked away from the sidewalk on Sandy Blvd. Deb was wonderful working me into a earlier appointment. She was very gentle on a toe nail that was damaged and re-growing. No pain afterwards like my last pedicure. Two weeks now and color is still strong. I liked being the only one in my time slot, instead of being in a busy shop. I will continue to go to Deb for my nail needs.

This is my 4th massage with Letha. She's wonderful! I found her spot by chance when I reaaaally needed a massage for stress management and she fit me in that afternoon. She has great new client specials too! She's so kind, relaxed and she made me feel very comfortable. She will talk or just let you relax to her soothing music while she's works all the stress and aches from your body. A true artist! Thank you, Letha!

Very comfortable experience. Quite, personal care, with out all the commotion of a regular salon. A true little gem in Hollywood district.

I've been seeing Deb for approximately two years for pedicures and she is honestly the best pedicurist imaginable. Her work is impeccable and she is a wonderful person. Her prices are very reasonable for the quality of work.

Where has this place been hiding?!? Oh, in a cute house on Broadway, up on a porch where you walk up a flight of stairs into a charming little waiting room. Can you imagine a pedicure in a PRIVATE room, with someone who speaks perfect english so an actual conversation can possibly ensue, and communication about how you'd like your feet/nails done is a breeze?

I couldn't. It was refreshing not to have to ask, "What?" 10 times throughout my pedicure. Have you seen Anjelah Johnson's nail salon comedy bit on youtube? That is much closer to how normal pedicures go. This was delightful; a private room, sanitary procedures and a very fun and personable lady. The nail colors (OPI) were all on artificial nails, in a little box for you to pick through while you sit, and you can see what they'll look like on your nails, no surprises once they're applied.

This was the best Mani/Pedi I've ever had, in a private room where people are not walking by, walking in, or sitting anywhere in your view. It's amazingly relaxing. That being said, I am the kind of person that mostly allows myself these luxuries because you get a free massage from the fancy massage chairs that almost feel like human hands. Hands Face Body Place had a massage chair but it was lacking, one that just kind of shakes, and now I need to book a massage instead.

Call me cheap, whatever, but next time I guess I will take the language barrier and public gawking at my adorable toes in order to get the massage. If they do upgrade the massage chairs, I'll be there once a month!
