Your Body Works Massage & Day Spa

My first time getting a massage and it was great. My boyfriend and I did a 50 minute Swedish couple's massage. Unfortunately we didn't get the masseuses' names, but they were both fantastic. When we arrived for our scheduled appointment a few minutes early, they had the necessary waiver forms all ready for us. Once we filled those out, one of the masseuses came out and chatted with us for a minute while the other prepared the room.

Once the room was ready, we were led in and allowed time to undress to our comfort level and get on our tables. Given that it was my first time, my masseuse made sure to explain to me what she was doing as she was doing it to help me relax. She also made sure to ask if I was uncomfortable with anything and to make sure the pressure was appropriate, which I appreciated.

The massage was very thorough and well worth the money. Afterwards, the masseuse who had been working on by boyfriend checked us out at the front desk. He made sure to let me know about some of the "after effects" of getting a massage and was very friendly. My boyfriend noted to me on the way out that this was the best massage he had ever received.

Boy oh boy! I want to return to Ogunquit, ME during the on season to have another signature massage. It has been years since I had one but MAN, this is just what the Dr ordered. Staff super friendly, place smelled invigorating I almost went to sleep during my massage. I felt rejuvenated and like I had NOT one worry in the world!

Awesome massage! My service was with Nem and he was fantastic. He has an extensive background in PT which also helped me with my issues. Will definitely go back soon.

My wife and I had a couple massage a few days ago and it was ok (nothing too good nor bad). I had many many massages prior to visiting Your Body Works Massage, and I can easily say that this one was average.

I had Jill for a facial and she was amazing! The spa was very clean and professional. Jill was very sweet and attentive throughout the experience. Best first time facial ever! Would HIGHLY recommend!

This place was amazing! My husband had a Swedish massage and I had a facial with neck,shoulders, and feet! We’re in heaven and will definitely be back! Fabulous staff, very clean and comfortable

It was my first time going here and it was nothing but amazing! I had Nem and he was extremely professional and targeted all the areas I had tension in. If you're looking for a nice relaxing massage I recommend having Nem! When I'm back in the I will schedule another one. Highly Recommend! Very clean and relaxing place

I would definitely invest in someone who answers the phone. Very strange to call a place and make multiple calls to schedule something and never get an answer. Then, on the answering machine is says "oh and we don't have openings this week and are closed Monday and Friday." Well.onto the next I guess! I got an appointment down the street in a half hour. It's ok to be busy, but think about new people trying to reach out!

Wildy passionate about their craft. My wife and I booked a 50 min massage/facial, and based on other reviews had high hopes. These guys far exceeded our expectations. We will be back, even if that means making the hour trek from our home in MA!

I booked a massage about a week out while vacationing. I booked an 80 minute signature massage with Lisa. I wanted to post as the massage was overall excellent, although it seemed a little rushed to me. Lisa thought I had booked a 50 minute massage. Once we worked out that I had booked an 80 minute massage, she made it up in spades. In fact, I felt that last half was better than the first 50 minutes.

They were so nice and apologetic about it, and took off some money from the massage, as well as made sure to make up the time. Mistakes happen, and their handling of it was more than gracious. Also, Lisa's skills really came through in the work she did just focusing on my problem areas. I have some major knots in my traps, and yesterday was the first time I walked around with no pain in years!

I slept like a baby. I wish I could take Lisa home with me LOL! This is after almost 2 years of getting weekly short medical messages trying to deal with this same trigger points. I highly recommend, and truly believe the mess up was not their usual. Everything was very clean, quiet and nice. If would recommend the signature but for 80 minutes to really enjoy it, or if you have issues like I do a custom massage. Thank you Lisa!

Great massage, professional staff, and safe environment. Getting a massage right know made me nervous as someone is less than six feet and touching you but they always made me feel safe while wearing masks. They clearly took cleanliness as serious as their massage techniques. Highly recommend! Book early during the spring and summer, trust me!

I have been coming to Your Body Works for years! I have never been disappointed! The staff is wonderful, very knowledgable and friendly! I always try to book my massage with Nem, but if you can't book with him, don't be worried! Everyone that works there does a fabulous job!

My wife and I took a short trip to York for the weekend and they were able to move an appointment to get us in for a couples massage with only a few days notice! We went with the deep tissue massage and it was the best massage that we have ever had. It was easy to communicate with them and they were very accommodating to different needs. The facility was very clean and recently renovated.

All in all I would highly recommend them. 5 star business for sure. My only recommendation to them is to post more pictures of their space on Google. It is very cozy inside and that was our only hesitation when deciding who to book with. If they had posted photos of the inside it would have been a no brainer! Now we know

My boyfriend and I just left the spa and all I can say is PHENOMENAL! I got a 50 minute prental massage and facial and he got an 80 minute Swedish massage. We were both more than happy with everything. I HIGHLY recommend this spa and cannot wait to come back this summer!

I made an appointment with Nem at "Your Body Works". The Massage studio was very clean and sanitary I felt very safe. I've been struggling to find a good massage therapist for a while and Nem did not disappoint. Very professional and knowledgeable. The flow of the massage was one outstanding, he knew exactly where all my problem areas were and knew exactly how to help. Honestly one of the best massages I've had in a very long time. I Highly recommend this massage studio.

My Husband and I had massages while visiting the area, and I Have to say we both had the best Massages we have ever had! Nem and Kristen were absolutely Amazing! Highly recommend! Will be back again soon!

I’m in Maine for my honeymoon and knew I needed to stop in and get a well deserved massage! With the wedding planning finally over rest and pampering was a must! Well all I can say is wow! Seriously had the best massage I’ve ever received. The massage therapist (I can’t remember her name) was awesome and took her time with my 1 1/2 hours I had with her. It didn’t feel rushed like most other massage places do. Thank you so much for everything I will most certainly be back!!

I was able to get an appointment the same day. The facility was clean and staff was very professional. The environment was very relaxing. The massage therapist seemed to intuitively know which muscles needed the most attention. The prices were reasonable and I was able to schedule a second appointment within the week of my vacation.

This was the best massage I've had in years! The place was very welcoming when I walked in and I was greeted by my massage therapist Manny. I scheduled the 1 1/2 hour Swedish massage and it did not disappoint! Manny is an exceptional massage therapist. He worked out every tight muscle, especially in my neck and shoulders. I still feel great several days later! I highly recommend him and I will be back.

I highly recommend Your Body Works, particularly Manny. As Heart sang, he's got "magic hands." I had the best massage I've ever had for a reasonable price ($90 for one-hour deep tissue). The massage was very thorough, including a warm pillow around my neck and hot stones. He took into consideration some limitations I currently have due to sciatica. Now I have 2 reasons to want to move to Wells - the beach and Manny.

We were staying in Wells and I wanted to get a massage so I yelped Your Body Works and made an appointment for a 90 minute massage. The location was very nice, clean and had a cozy atmosphere. When I walked in Manny my massage therapist put a warm cushion around my neck while I filled out the necessary paper work. I had a fantastic massage and felt wonderful when I left.

The receptionist Brenda was very nice. I liked this place so much 2 days later went back with my husband he had a salt scrub and I had a facial/ reflexology. The facial was amazing, it was something I never had done before, it was performed with pressure points on my face, after she put a mask on my face and in the meantime massaged my feet. Wonderful, wonderful experience.

I was treated very well by Rebekah at the desk. Manny was incredible. His fingers were magical as he eased me into a wonderful massage. I left Your Body Works walking on a cloud. What a wonderful experience.

My mom and I spent Mother's Day weekend in Ogunquit and wanted some well deserved pampering. I decided to book us a "mom's happy feet" package because we both didn't want a full massage and a reflexology foot massage with facial sounded like exactly what we needed. Upon first arrival, my initial thought was that this place was very small.

The waiting area is a wicker love seat with two chairs. About a quarter of the room was filled with plants. The decor was a bit out of date. The service was fantastic. My masseuse, Caitlin, was very friendly and professional. She was sure to let me know exactly what the plan was so that I was prepared. The reflexology was super relaxing but my favorite part was the facial. If we ever go again I think I would get a full facial. They used a product that left my skin cool and tingling for a while afterwards. This was a very nice treat!

Don't go there! Messed up reservation twice, incredibly rude, ruined relaxing weekend plans. I made reservations for a couples massage and facial combo for a Saturday morning this past Valentine's Day Weekend. Upon arrival, they said they only had reservations for one person. I explained that we had driven to ME from MA to have a nice Valentine's Day celebration and the spa day was the highlight of the weekend, but the lady at the front desk kept answering the phone and booking other appointments while we stood there waiting for a solution.

No respect for our time and no concern about our plans being messed up. She kept acting like it wasn't their fault and said we could get a refund through the resort we were staying at, since they apparently have a partnership. She kept referring to my partner as my "friend" and suggested that we get massages at different times, as she had another person who would be available about 45min later. It's not a couples massage if you're in different rooms getting massages at different times.

She didn't get that. I decided to leave and call the resort. After much back and forth, they said everything had been worked out and we had an appointment setup for the following day at 10:30am. We rearranged our plans to accommodate the mess, but when we got there they said they only had one massage for one person and one facial for another person scheduled.

The problem the previous day was that there was only 1 combo scheduled instead of 2. Wouldn't it be obvious that the fix would be to just add another combo?!?!? Seriously, how hard can it be to get a simple reservation right?!?!? I just decided to let go and get a refund, but the lady got very defensive and rude, saying that we couldn't walk away because she had staff there and had to pay them for their time.

I don't understand how that's my problem. I shouldn't have to pay for their scheduling mistake. At that point, seeing that she was trying to bully us into staying, I got frustrated and said I didn't feel comfortable staying. She still kept acting like it was our fault that the reservation was wrong and twisted my words to the point where I decided to just leave.

When she realized we were leaving, she said she would do one massage and one facial for free, but once again she was extremely rude and missing the point. Spa employees are supposed to make people feel comfortable and at ease, not tense and frustrated. I was amazed at how rude everyone was and how nobody had any sense of customer service. They didn't give a crap that our Valentine's Day plans had been ruined by their incompetence and kept trying to make us feel bad and guilty for wanting to leave. We ended up going back to the resort and getting a refund.

Wow factor! On a recent visit to Ogunquit, Maine I stopped in at Your Body Works to get a Swedish Massage to treat myself. By the time I finished the massage I was giddy that I was so relaxed. I thought the staff was excellent fitting me in on short notice and the massage was truly excellent. They told me that they had an office in Wells also, but I think the one they gave me will carry me over for a couple of weeks. My girlfriend, Janice, who I met later on that evening told me that I had made the right choice with Your Body Works I did not argue!
