Aqua Blue

This place is a joke! They set an appointment for me at 12pm. I get there and they tell me it's at 11:45. Won't see me and charged me for the visit. The manager said that was the only availability they had. So why wasn't I notified of the change. So unprofessional.

Booked an appointment for facial with Microdermabrasion, the place is really nice, service was great but little expensive( paid $200) i was expecting better results not really happy with the results!

Very relaxing experience and environment. Pamper yourself and visit this spa!

I love Lulu. She was amazing with my friend who had major surgery and needed lymphatic massage.

I sent my client here, and I'm so embarrassed she didn't have the experience I expected. She said the services were ok, the staff very nice, but was highly uncomfortable and awkward sitting in a dim room im her robe with strangers while waiting for services. She likes to shower before leaving a spa, and said their shower was absolutely disgusting.

Apparently they have this elaborate full body shower system but it's missing pieces, only one actually was working, the water wouldn't get any warmer than room temperature, and the shower water smelled like rotten eggs. There was mildew/mold/scum on the shower floor and on the fixtures. The drain was full of someone else's hair! It was clear that it hadn't been cleaned in some time.

The walls had paint chipped off everywhere, it looked like some place that was forgotten about and never maintained. Apparently this was a bizarre room, with a sink and shower, no toilet but several benches and chairs, enough to seat at least half a dozen people. Do people gather to watch others shower? I can't imagine why that's in a shower room meant for one person.

She said it was a clean lobby and room for services but that shower room is probably a health hazard. She said it was strange because everything was so nice until the shower room and compared it to being in Beverly Hills and opening a door to a ghetto. So embarrassed, I'll be looking for another spa to send my clients to, this was the first time I booked this spa for anyone and it wasn't the experience I expected my client to have. I can apologize a million times but this makes me look bad, and I hope it doesn't impact my job. Thanks alot!

This is the best massage I have ever had, I have had the reflexology massage. And the most recent was a shoulder and back massage from Lulu! Truly wonderful! I recommend this place to everyone! Clean and very professional! Private rooms with doors, and lockers to secure all of your belongings. Will be going back as soon as I have the time!

I was given a 60-min facial at Aquablue Spa as a retirement gift. When I got to the salon, Michelle was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. The facial was thorough, and the massage was so relaxing that it just about put me to sleep. Michelle was a great conversationalist, gave an awesome facial massage, and I will definitely make an appointment to come back. I was a little fearful that my face might break out afterwards, but my skin has remained very soft and clear. Thank you Michelle!

I decided to treat myself to a massage since it's been a while. I have gone to Aquablue in the past and received a wonderful massage. Today my appointment was at 12:30. I arrived in the area about 12:20 but had to drive around the block a couple times to find parking. I walked in at 12:30 but was told it was not a problem. Went to bathroom to change and the receptionist asked me if I'd like champagne and I said sure, she said it would be waiting in relaxation room.

When I went into relaxation room there was no champagne but not a big deal to me. I waited about 10 minutes in there when my therapist came to retrieve me. She talked to me for about 5 minutes then left the room for me to get ready. I waited on the table for about 10 minutes before she returned. She assured me I had a 60 min massage and she started.

She was very sweet and the massage was wonderful except that it felt like the most rushed massage I have ever had. Before I knew it she said it was done. I left the room looked at clock and it was exactly 1:30. I received about a 30 min massage for the price of 60 min. I told receptionist and she didn't seem to worried but did say I should have received the full hour from when the therapist starts the massage and said she'd give me a 10% discount.

So I paid $95 for a 30 min massage. It's a shame because I was planning on coming back regularly, And I reduced the therapists tip considerably since she cut the session short. I'm a bit disappointed because I really did like this place on my past visits and was looking forward to returning but I'm a bit turned off about paying that much and only receiving half the service I'm paying for.

Did a couples massage with my best friend here. We enjoyed the waiting room and it's peaceful quiet environment. Both masseuses were fantastic I believe I had Ernestina, I hope I got her name right. My friend and I went in two tired hardworking moms and came out completely satisfied. It was a much needed pampering day for us. We look forward to our next visit.

I have always had a wonderful experience at aqua blue. The atmosphere is calming, the staff are so kind and helpful, and the therapists are, for the most part, really good. They are also very reasonably priced. If you compare their prices for what they offer to day spas on the Peninsula, you will see what a value you are getting. Thank you for being there. I hope you are able to survive during these uncertain times. I look forward to coming in for a facial and massage as soon as you are able to reopen

I went to Aquablue for a massage for my birthday. I was truly looking forward to the experience. The front desk staff was pleasant and welcoming. Where it all went wrong was during the massage. My therapist was massaging with one hand and texting on her cell phone with the other. I was so bummed. I spent $165 for a 90 minute massage, if you want to call it that.

I called the manager who was nice and very apologetic. She may or may not give me another massage ( I am supposed to find out in a few days). I don't recommend going there if you desire a relaxing experience. My first regret is going there, my second is not getting up off the table and walking out. If you do go, ask your therapist to put her cell phone in her purse or locker.

I went today 8/18/19 for a Aquablue Slim & Tone Mud Wrap. I was very disappointed with the service. The massage therapist spend less than an hour when the treatment is 90 minutes. The cost for the 90 minute service is $145. I informed the receptionist in the front desk about the situation and she apologized and was very sorry that I did not have a good experience.

She charged me $115 instead of the full price. Although the receptionist was understanding and gave me a discount, I was not able to enjoy the full experience. The massage therapist did not do her job well. It's truly a shame since I was expecting to have a nice experience, instead I left frustrated and disappointed.

Dayna is the best ever! She made me feel comfortable and was very kind. She is also very helpful in explaining what every treatment was for. I finally found a skincare routine that works for me thanks to her! I will definitely be getting all my facials done by her again. Highly recommend! :

I always come to Aquablue just to see Shelby and get the most amazing facials of all time! I've been to many other places for facials in the area, but they don't compare at all to the time and care that Shelby puts into her clients. She makes sure to teach me about my skin type and how to best care for my skin between treatments. It's such a relaxing experience and she is so gentle with my skin. I will never go anywhere else just because of her!

I love going to Aquablue my aesthetician Shelby, she is the greatest and best knowledgeable about skin care. I am very happy and beautiful after I leave. The prices are very reasonable and very clean and very quiet place

New face who dis? Hydrodermabrasion facials with the oxygen treatment are my new addiction thanks to Shelby! She always leaves my face feeling squeaky clean and so hydrated after treatment! Honestly, my favorite part about seeing Shelby for facials is all the recommendations and tips she gives me! My at home regimen has changed so much since I starting seeing her and my skin is AMAZING. If you are wanting glowing, radiant, clear skin you need to step away from the cetaphil and coconut oil and go make an appointment with Shelby!

I've been to this spa several times and I've never been disappointed--from the front desk, estheticians, and massage therapists. Shelby who is my go to girl does wonders on my skin! She's very knowledgeable on skin care and recommends awesome products. My skin definitely glows after getting a facial with her. As for massages, I've had several different therapists both male and female. I've never felt uncomfortable and when pressure is too much or not enough, all it takes is for me to voice what i need and they adjust accordingly. A good therapist will adjust pressure as needed as long as you voice your needs. Thank you Aquablue staff for always providing a pleasant experience.

If you're considering getting a facial, SHELBY IS YOUR GIRL! This was only my second facial ever and it was amazing. Shelby is such a knowledgeable esthetician and only does what's best for your face and your skin. She's recommended so many incredible products that have truly transformed the way my skin looks and feels in only a few short weeks.

I booked my next facial with her as I was walking out the door from my first one 2 weeks ago and plan on continuing to schedule regular appointments with her. My skin has never felt better

Very nice place! I felt super welcomed and doted on. It was quiet and tranquil with yoga type music to calm you as soon as you walk in. The receptionist was delightful, I wish I caught his name! He offered me Champaign and it was a short wait for my esthetician. My esthetician was a peach. So sweet and answered all of my questions. I went in for a microdermabrasion which I highly recommend!

It was great for my skin and felt nice as well. She explained everything as she went. I have zero complaints about this place and will definitely make this spot at regular as I can but I must warn you: it is pricey.

The masseuse used only elbows on my shoulders even after I said "Ow, I'm too tense there to just dig right in". it did not feel good and after over $100 spent my shoulders are still tight. The front desk had nothing to say when I commented on the high price and my shoulders still being tense. The face cover on the table smelled like fragrance from laundry soap or dryer sheets - breathing in these toxic chemicals wasn't the relaxing setting I was hoping for.

I wanted some water; unfortunately they use Alhambra's water which is fluoridated, no thanks. I really thought such a nice looking place in old town would be a much better experience. Waste of money, for sure.

My wife and I had a really excellent massage here. We felt relaxed after an hour of full body massage. You have call at least a week before because they're always fully booked. They are a little pricey compare to other massage place in the area but I guess you have to pay more if you really want to get a good massage.

My wife and I try to do a couples massage every so often. When we do, we are never disappointed by the awesome customer service and the great ambience! The owner Frank is a great guy and takes care of his customers very well!

So I finally decided to make some me time and scheduled a massage. We all know I never do this for myself! Had this whole conversation about wanting female only with the front desk after getting a wax service. So what happens? They try to send in some guy. Soooo no massage for me! They had me scheduled with a female and someone changed it so my therapist LuLu could perform some wrap on another person. Joy!

I was trying to release some stress and they managed to stress me out more! So no massage and more stress for having to tell the guy I do not prefer him. How embarrassing and stressful for me. All in a robe and had to get dressed and leave. They wanted me to come back later but I literally fit this into my schedule. Apparently making reservations is a challenge if you want something specific.

I would think requesting male or female is standard in this business. I guess I will have to try and find another place to go if I ever decide to make time for myself like this again.

I had an excellent massage given by Sonia! Would definitely recommend her and will definitely ask for her when I return! Not a huge deal breaker but my only criticism would be to have some kind of soap available for use in the shower. I did shower after my massage but there wasn't any soap in the shower. Also, I washed my hair, but no hair dryer to dry it afterwards. Overall.a thumbs up review! Will definitely return for future services!

My favorite place to go when I need a full body relaxation massage. I started going to them 2 years ago and I always leave satisfied. All the girls are good, u will not be disappointed. I even tried their facial massages which are totally worth it. I recommend Aquablue to everyone who is looking for a good relaxation massage and a wonderful customer service.

This review is based solely on the Brazilian wax. It's been a minute since I came (like a little less than a year) but I just have to let people know not to waste your money on the Brazilian wax here! It was like 80 or 90 which is the most I have ever paid for one and it was the worst job ever. The girl missed major spots and however she was waxing or the type of wax she was using hurt more than usual. Also, I understand some light conversation but the girl was just talking to much. I was so disappointed and I honestly felt so hipped out of my money once I got home and saw the full extent of how bad of job was done.
