David is a miracle worker. I wish I could go here every week for a deep tissue massage. The best massage I've ever gotten!

First time here. Deep tissue massage with CBD cream by Peter was so relaxing. Thank you! Will be back tomorrow for a facial, hope that goes just as well too, so I could be a regular.

Expensive, aweful therapist who tried to fake knowing how tondona deep tissue massage. Would not go back, would not recommend

Definitely don't go see DAYNA for a micro needling or facials. Worst experience Ive had at Tranquility Spa after going to this spa, seeing Priscilla for over 17 years! This was my second miconeedling session with Dayna today. Each are priced at $300. But it didn't matter to Dayna. She's got this stuck up superior attitude saying "Well I've worked in Yorktown 4 years and I know what I'm doing!" God forbid you ask any questions.

It's my face! It's my money! Rude girl. She won't last at the spa. I've never had such a awful degrading experience. Awful. She told me she used to take steroids. So who knows. Maybe it affected her brain chemistry.

I have been a client for years. I appreciate that the spa values feedback from their clients. Great customer service!

Nice spa would suggest to have relaxing spa music when entering and in every treatment room. Also the smell when you enter is something that stays in peoples minds for spas. Encourage a signature scent for this spa so its memorable each time you enter.

Excellent spa. Professional, clean on time and very relaxing. Time goes quickly so book a longer session if possible. Each therapist is as good as the next. Highly recommended!

If you're planning on going to Tranquility Spa the most important thing for you to know is the business policy they don't dare advertise. As quoted by the owner of the establishment "THE CLIENT ISN'T ALWAYS RIGHT"! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! What started out as a nice experience to relieve some holiday stress ended with disrespect and a ton of attitude.

When you go to an established business you expect professionalism and customer service, especially in the current climate. After getting services done my mother and I were treated to a surprise additional payment that we were expected to pay no questions asked. There was a innocent mix-up and instead of getting consideration and respect we were treated like con artists trying to get one over on the disorganized and helpless desk staff.

They felt they didn't have to take any responsibility for the mix-up in services and it was somehow all our fault, the paying customers who are not all knowing when it comes to Tranquility's policies, practices and services. I would expect there to be a sense of accountability on the part of the staff if they want to maintain relationships with clients and build trust.

I guess NOT. The owner was not on premise when the exchange happened so I paid the remaining amount and asked for a call to hopefully get a refund or at the very least an apology for the way we were treated. The owner did give me a call back, not to offer her acknowledgment of the grievance however, she only threw salt on the wound. I'm dumbfounded by the conversation I had with her and I can second the other reviewers comments when she says that her demeanor was rude and abrasive.

Instead of an apology there was more customer shaming and lack of responsibility taken on the owners end who was the one to take our booking down! I don't understand how this person is working in the customer service business as she clearly lacks the principals to maintain client's happiness and loyalty once they've paid for and received services at your establishment. We will not be going back!

This review is not for the service but for the integrity of whoever is in charge to pick up the used bath ropes. When I got to the massage room I realized I forgot to remove my watch which was a Fitbit charge 2. I removed it and place it on the right pocket of the bath rope. When I was done with the massage I went to the bathroom to get change and I forgot my watch inside the pocket, I placed the bath rope in the basket and went home.

When I got home I realize I had forgotten my watch at the Spa. The next day I called I spoke to a nice lady who told me she was going to let the manager know and that they were going to call me if the Fitbit appeared. The watch was never turn in to the front desk. Lesson learned.

My wife loves this place. A couple years ago she bought me a massage. But the best part was that she also scheduled it for me because she knew I would never go if it wasn't forced into my calendar. Anyway I bought a gift certificate for her online for Christmas because I didn't get a chance to go here. She already made an appointment.

The spa steam room and environment are lovely. However the massage that the 3 of us ( me my daughter and husband) was mediocre at best.). I will not be returning.

The spa was very clean and beautiful. Terry gave me an awesome facial and hand massage. Very relaxing and thorough. I definitely will be back!

I had a European facial with Sasha, and it was relaxing, informative and overall great experience. She made me feel very relaxed and was super knowledgable on skin types. Sasha helped me assess my skin type and gave great recommendations for products i should be using on my skin! I will definitely be back.

I had an amazing experience here. I got a facial and a massage, and it was hands down the best. Elsa is amazing and left my skin super smooth, and Dawn gave me the best massage of my life. Everyone is super sweet, professional, and I will definitely be making this place my monthly spot. 150% recommend.

Although I'm flexible, legs are muscular and I'm in decent shape (ok. I have some pandemic poundage), NYC public school life is just DAMN. TENSE. PERIOD. I gird myself for chaotic school days that have me bending down to help my students everyday. Hubs felt I needed pampering during my MidWinter, week off Recess from work and give my body the TLC it deserves.

And he was right- because I received a 1 and a 1/2 hr Deep Tissue Massage+ Facial Package as a Valentine's present. Set in the corner of Central Ave and Ardsley Rd. at the Midway Shopping Center in Scarsdale, you'd almost miss Tranquility as it's slightly towards the back of the plaza. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to make an online appointment, but I called to schedule instead. Tranquillity asks gender (for massage therapists) and time preferences for your services as well as mention which amenity features are closed due to COVID: steam room, saunas, and showers.

Even when I waited in the parking lot and got the green light to head in, I was ready for my aesthetician and massage therapist to work their magic. Not that I was hoping for a pony show or red carpet treatment from the woman sitting at the front desk when I checked in on a Saturday early morning, but when people spend $240 (or any other $ amount for that matter), the most I expect is a genuine smile, pleasantries and make me feel like I'm the most important person in the world- even it's for 2 seconds.

None of the positives happened. just the artificial smile. At any rate, hand over the required 'physical' form and COVID questionnaire (print from home) in order to be seen then head downstairs. Carla the aesthetician, greeted me instantly- plus had the charm, know-how and care during my European Facial. She kept her mask on and went through the motions of exfoliating, steaming and moisturizing my face with Dermalogica products til the end.

I was escorted to another room for my Massage where AnneMarie(?) had her mask and face shield on, worked me from head to toe in a slow and satisfyingly firm- deep tissue and had me floating on air by the time she finished with me. Then wanted to bring her home! I felt transformed and truly got my money's worth because both my Deep Tissue Massage and Facial were exceptionally delicious!

If I return is because I truly value the two ladies who made feel relaxed all over. The only downside was the bland customer service up front AND having to leave both rooms and heading back into the real world 'as I was': sleepy, disheveled and covered in those heavenly-smelling oils on my face (especially) and body. I surrender.

Had a great dermaplaning facial with Elsa and she was off the charts fantastic! It's always a wonderful experience even during these tough times, but I'm glad to say I was extremely happy, and I am still glowing! I will be back. real soon

I came here for the first time in 9/12/2020 for a massage. I was referred by a friend. I called to make an appointment the day before and they had availability. They have you sign health forms for your arrival. They also ask that you call when you're outside so they can call you when your room is ready. I felt very safe while inside. Everyone had masks.

The masseuse was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs and led me directly to my room. My masseuse was Joe. Very nice and informative of the process. It was my first massage ever and joe was great! The pressure was just right and I left feeling so relaxed and brand new. I would recommend him to anyone! No complaints here. I gave them 4 stars because I wasn't able to experience all of their amenities, since they are still closed because of COVID, but not they're fault. They're doing a great job of keeping their clients safe! I'll be back soon!

So happy to be able to get a massage after quarantine. Safety measures are in place. You wait in your car until your appt time. No shared locker rooms or spaces. Wear a mask when face up. Highly recommend

I got several emails on a special that was going on for two days so I decided just to book! I am a long time customer & was a bit skeptical at first for what measures they were taken to abide by the COVID-19 criteria & I am well pleased. Although we're not able to utilize the changing area, there are no snacks, you DO change in your room & everything is sanitized!

They book appropriately for social distance & they have you fill out two forms prior. I felt safe being a Frontlier a registered nurse in New York City hospital I was well please at the measures that were taken & felt secure & comfortable with the massage!

I have been going here for the past 10 years and always enjoy a relaxing swedish or deep tissue massage. The parking situation is easy and accessible and the staff is always extremely friendly and professional.

It has all of the amenities that you could ask for from a peaceful waiting room with hot tea, fruit infused water, cookies and dried fruit to a relaxing steam room. The steam room is a great bonus after a relaxing massage! With private showers, lockers, plush robes and personal care products, you really get the full spa experience. If you are looking for a professional, peaceful environment, Tranquility Spa is the place for you.

AHMazing. The layout, staff, locker rooms, amenities, snacks and most of all the quality of the massages are hard to beat. My bf and I have taken full advantage of the Couples Massage on a few different occasions. If that's your jam then I highly recommend booking an appt asap. He's actually the first one to intro me to the place and it has now become a frequent bimonthly stop for us.

You arrive to a warm fuzzy robe and sandals. We always get there early so we can take advantage of the steam rooms in our respective locker rooms and unwind. We then cheers over infused water and cookies which are prominently displayed in the seating area downstairs. By now we're pumped to meet our masseuses and jump onto our heated tables. I think they always do a great job of asking in advance what kind of pressure you're looking for, any problem areas or areas of desired focus, etc.

Before you know it you hear a faint whisper, the lights begin to raise a bit, your eyes slowly start to open and lying next to your partner you feel nothing short of euphoric. This continues to be a priority stop for us even during the hectic times that life brings. Definitely recommend for couples and singles alike who are all about a good massage with masseuses who listen and work on your needs.

This is where the professional massage therapists go to get a great massage! Every therapist here has been amazing. Five stars to Peter and Michelle. I highly reccomend requesting them. The place is squeaky clean, professional, meets 5 star expectations for service, ambiance, and the steam room puts the finishing touches on a great massage. They even dealt skillfully doing a facial with my seriously difficult mother.

I had the best Swedish massage here. It's hands down the best one I've had ever. This was my first time here and I really wasn't sure what to expect. I was impressed with the place itself. They take you down to a calm downstairs area which is nice to get away from the business of the shopping center. They give you a cozy robe and rubber slippers.

I found that the women's locker room, changing stalls and bathroom were really clean. The lounge area was cozy too, and wasn't really loud besides people coming and going, which wasn't disturbing. I got a massage by Laura, and she was amazing. She was very polite and was thorough. She really listened to what I liked and what sort of pressure I wanted. The worst part was when it was over!; I will definitely be back.

I was looking for a new place for facials after moving from manhattan. The facialist was lovely but the message part was just ok. My main gripe is that I brought in a coupon and it had just expired this week. I had other coupons at home and they would not accommodate either me going and getting it or give me the discount this one time. I told them I am a first time customer and they said the manager would not honor it.

Why have me leave with a bad taste in my mouth? I could be a repeat customer monthly until eternity but instead they would rather put their foot down. Fail on customer service. I'll try all the other places in town before spending my money there again.

I would not even give this place one star! Took $170.00 from me and if you knew me I NEVER complain but this was the WORST microdermabrasion facial I ever had. She ripped my face to bleeding. Spoke to manager Stephanie about it and she basically said too bad. This woman has no idea how to be a manager or what a facial even I entails. I would never go there again.

Max is amazing! The ambience is peacefull and the messuese even more so. A definite great spot to release some tension at least once a month. 5 minutes in the steam room after a great massage will have you feeling new again.
