Amazing GEM. Blissful has a homey feel to it, the masseuses are very professional and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend this spa!

Barbara is a great massage therapist! She really listens to your needs and caters the massage based on what you tell her. Privately owned place, which is so much better than big commercial spas that give you half the quality for double the price. Blissful is great!

I love Barbara. I've been going to her for years. The right amount of pressure, great atmosphere. I love that its a small spa and not hoity toity. Very quiet and very private. I always go back to her.

This place is okay. They do not ask any questions before starting treatments, so I didn't feel I had an opportunity to discuss what I expected. They also did not ask about any health information, even when I asked to go over it. The woman who was going to give me a facial ended up hurting me by touching a sensitive area before we talked about what I wanted. (I.e., I asked to talk, she said after I look at your skin, she ended up touching a sensitive area (grabbed my nose to turn my head)) I won't be returning.

I received a gift certificate for a massage as a birthday present and loved my experience. I was greeted warmly, asked about my preferred pressure and target areas, and was shown to the room. I was given ample time to get ready and Barbara was very thorough. Despite being 5 minutes late my massage was never rushed nor was I shorted those 5 minutes in massage time.

She made sure I knew that the room wasn't needed immediately so I could take my time and relax a few moments before getting up. I enjoyed a cup of hot tea after my massage and chatted briefly with Barbara on my way out. I will definitely return and will look into booking a couples massage so that my husband can get a massage, too!

Love this spa. Have been coming here for years! The staff are really nice and accommodating and the massages are great! I always come out of the spa feeling so relaxed and taken care of. Great spa! Very comfortable and home like feeling. The massage therapists and esthetician are great! They really customize each treatment and experience to your personal needs. They are not robotic like some other spas can be. Facials and relaxing and beneficial! Massages are relaxing and theraputic! Highly recommend.

The owner Barbara has been my Massage Therapist for many years and I consider her the best in the area. Her salon is tranquil and you will leave there feeling relaxed and physically renewed.

We love going here for couples massages! We always get a consistently great massage plus they have heated tables which are nice to reduce stress and decrease muscle tensions. Environment is always calming with music playing! Also, we have noticed the prices have remained the same for massages and facials! It's nice to know you won't be charged more or prices won't unknowingly increase. We have been going for 5+ years and still great!

I've gone to Blissful a handful of times now for a massage from Barbara, the owner, and I am very happy with her! I stand all day for work and my back kills me. Barbara has very strong hands and gives a great deep tissue. Highly recommend!

I've been coming to Blissful for a few years and must say that it is always a wonderful experience - so much that I've become a regular. The must-see esthetician is Quinn, who is always accommodating and very good at what she does. The prices are amazing and I think of it as a hidden gem. I sometimes tell people; I sometimes don't, because I don't want it to get so booked that I can't get in! Barbara, the owner is always friendly and if you make any special requests, she always tries to accommodate.

The waiting room in the back is very relaxing with complimentary teas and snacks and the heated massage beds are where it's at! Finally, one of the most convenient aspects is the fact that after my first facial went so well, I began using Mario Badescu products and Blissful is a retailer of them, so you can always stock up.

I have not been here for a long time but planning to go back this coming saturday. the owner barbara is always very friendly and always has a smile on her face. the massuese i had from my very first time there her name was christine. very good AMAZING massage very professional and courtious also very friendly and very comforting. would reccomend this spa to anyone looking for a great professional buisness whose staff is very friendly professional and welcoming as soon as the door opens

If your looking for a good massage, I would definitely come here! I've tried other places in the area but the massages have never been good. I've received tons of massages over the past 15 years and it's definitely one of the better places! I would definitely recommend! I understand other peoples comment below about the owner, but when you go often, you realize it's just a very laid back spa where you can feel comfortable. The owner is very nice and the staff is always very accommodating.

Got a massage from the owner. Strange energy from her as she seemed like she was in a rush. Maybe it was because I had a gift certificate. I've had many massages before and this was average at best. Things were a bit messy in the spa as well. There was no introduction when we walked in to the spa. At the end of the massage she informed me there was tea and water in the back. Poor presentation in the back room. Towels thrown around. For $80 I could go many other places and really feel taken care of. Thumbs down.

As I entered the spa and introduced myself I was hardly welcomed, very uncomfortable! It was as if I was a bother & come to learn the unfriendly woman hiding behind a partition was the owner, go figure. I started to feel like this place was dirty and very cluttered & should have just left then but I had some serious back pain. The room was cold with supplies spilling out from under the table, the therapist insisted in rubbing my legs for most of the hour instead of relieving me of my back pain. No good There are so many professional, clean spas that have opened in the area that charge the same prices as this outdated unfriendly "spa". Don't bother!

I've been going to Blissful for the past year and Barbara (Owner) always squeezes me in when she can. I enjoy talking to the massage therapists who are very friendly and professional as well as highly skilled. I also enjoy the fact the massage tables are always heated, that is very relaxing as well as the massage. I also enjoy that no matter the issue and I have frequent back issues they work to the perfect pressure and speed as I prefer. It's also in a convenient location. I am definitely a customer for life.

Like another poster said, the massage was great. Carmen (I think her name was, this was back in November) was very sweet and knew exactly where I was tense. The facial was AWFUL. The extractions took up almost half an hour and there was not nearly enough steam to open up my pores. Then the facialist slapped a mask on me and LEFT THE ROOM for another 20 minutes. WTF?

I thought facialist were supposed to give a massage or something, or maybe I have been spoiled by amazing estheticians but this girl was horrible. I regret booking the facial after the massage cause I was so uncomfortable. The owner is also a weirdo, I walk in and shes franctically setting up the room and doesnt even tell me there is a waiting area in the back with complimentary tea?

The massage therapist told me inbetween sessions. She never cracks a smile or feels inviting at all. DONT go here there are way better places and estheticians in Rockland. I cant believe they're been in business so long.

I've gotten a facial and a massage here. The facial was awful -- the extractions and the entire process seemed technically lacking. The steam applied was insufficient and the extractions were so painful I almost left in the midst of having the facial. The massage was amazing. They sell Mario Badescu products here so if you don't want to order online or schlep to the city, that is a plus.

I had written an older review and it had been taken down so I will say it again -- the owners are very unfriendly here, they are hostile and condescending. Although the massage was great, the service here is horrible and the facials are technically atrocious. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

This spa is a nice local spot that does not have insane spa prices and has a lot of spa options and packages to choose from. I have been here a few times before all having a great experience, sure the ambiance is not like a super "she-she" spa with saunas, locker rooms, and marble but it certainly packs a punch with the services they offer. I just received a gift certificate here for my birthday that included a 1hr facial and 1hr massage, my facial was fabulous, I love Mario Badescu skincare but it was all about the process very delicate and invigorating.

My massage was very relaxing. I left feeling truly refreshed and fresh faced. I purchased a bunch of Mario Badescu skin care with no pressure from the esthetician or receptionist (obviously the owner) and I was given a TON of skin care samples, way more then if you were buying Mario direct or from Nordstrom, the fact they did not pressure you to buy is great.

Blissful Spa in Nyack is a quiet retreat well worth visiting. This place is filled with good karma and the licensed massage therapists there know what they are doing. They are professional and caring. I hurt my shoulder and they knew what to do to help ease the pain. The place is a throw back to something that you might find in a 1968 vintage film with period decor complete with incense and organic products and a gentle sound track. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. The prices are great and I would recommend this spa as a blissful experience that is worthy of looking into.
