Steam Showers - Clients receiving massage, facials and body treatments are invited to enjoy our complimentary private steam showers. Sister booked four massages weeks ago, rearranged the day to accommodate the appointments. My sister called day of to confirm the times and they only kept ONE of the four appointments. "You see, you know how to *take* the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them." Don't your waste time. Who knows if you'll even have an appointment

I have always had a great experience at seven salon. Had a facial this morning with Joanie. She was fantastic. Thoughtful, thorough, and answered all my questions. My face was glowing after the session. Very happy customer! I also see Colette for color! She's amazing. Very quick, knows her craft well. Both girls are excellent and a pleasure to work with.

Please avoid this salon. The manicurist, Anita, was insulting, dismissive, and argumentative upon meeting this first time customer. She was visibly annoyed that the manager, Julie, informed her of the wrong name when she came to get me in the waiting room. When I tried to clarify the error and introduce myself, she sighed loudly and rolled her eyes.
At her station, I asked for her name and she barked at me to pick a shellac before I sat down. I had a few questions that I tried to ask her. As I did so, she rolled her eyes at me and then looked at another customer to roll her eyes about me to her. I was dismayed and upset. I discontinued the interaction. I informed the manager, Julie, that I felt that Anita's behavior was rude and unprofessional. Julie gave me a superficial apology but then proceeded to indirectly insult me by insinuating that this experience was my fault. I have never been treated this way in any salon. I have never written a review in my life. Please do not patronize this business.

I had a massage with Alex and it was amazing. He made me feel very comfortable and zeroed in all the parts of my body that needed attention. He was very intuitive despite only telling him I have neck and shoulder pain. I woke up the next morning noticing a dramatic difference. Next time I'm in the Berkshires, I'll be back!

Kaitlyn Barry is the best hair dresser I have literally ever had! I've had 15 years of being disappointed by hairdressers & have finally found my person. She did an incredible job. She listened to exactly what I wanted & was SO enjoyable to spend time with. I would 100000% recommend. I have never felt so satisfied & happy with my hair!

I tried to just look at the website to see if I could book a Bayalage with color, haircut and manicure but if you click on the world's worst website, an annoying chat box pops up not allowing you to book or see the services. What a phenomenal idea to lose possible customers. It's impressive to drive customers away. My point is, if they cannot even be bothered to fix their website, what type of shoddy work will they do on your hair?
I mean. NO ONE has a chat box that doesn't allow you to look at the website. I know this because I used to design websites. You have to program it to be this unusable. This is indicative of what they think of the customer. Be smart, skip this place that clearly has no interest in customer care.

My first visit with Katie was a success! I went for highlights and she listened, asked questions and in the end I received what I had hoped for! While the prices are high as noted in other reviews, the service and quality of knowledge and expertise, "getting it right" the first time is well worth it. Katie has a new, appreciative client!

Absolutely loved my experience at Seven Salon. They were very professional and careful regarding COVID-19 safety, I never felt exposed or unsafe in any way. The service was still top notch despite the precautions taken for COVID-19 safety. Michael was absolutely wonderful and listened to what I wanted in terms of a haircut. He did everything I asked for and made my hair look better than it has looked in a while! I love that the salon stocks Kevin Murphy products, in addition to other popular salon brands. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Had an appointment 3 weeks ago. Absolutely hideous experience. Ignored by the receptionist and had to wait for over half an hour while others who arrived after were seen first, despite me having an appointment. It wasn't even that busy! Stylist reeked of cigarettes, and kept leaning her stinky body and chest way too close to my face. I asked for just shampoo no conditioner because I have oily hair but she insisted on product that I did not want- it made my head itch and burn and I had flakes for two weeks after, yet still somehow managed to have greasy roots? Left and cried in my car I was so frustrated and angry when I left. Would not recommend, will not return.

Love this place! I make special trips to Stockbridge just to visit the spa and get my hair cut. Mark the owner is excellent. He's got a great eye and always seems to give me the perfect cut. The whole staff is very friendly and attentive. And their spa treatments are top notch. I also love the line of make up they sell-it's local, organic and really fabulous. Book ahead as they are busy.

I love Stockbridge. I have visited several times. Even though I have a regular stylist at home (Long Island), I decided to treat myself to color and a massage. Kate was amazing! My hair looks fabulous! Loved her! Alex, however, was a very disappointing masseuse. He seemed extremely annoyed that I was 5 minutes late (finishing my hair downstairs) and was unpleasant in his demeanor.
As for the massage, I did not care for his touch. I've had numerous massages with different technicians and his technique was not soothing. A very unpleasant 50 minutes.

I got my hair done here for my wedding last year and let me tell you, it was an emotional rollercoaster. I called months in advance to book and sent photos of exactly what I wanted. The manager assured me they had someone who could create the look (pin waves - not the easiest or most common look, which is why I sent photos in advance. I have thick long hair so I know I can achieve this style).
When I came in they had booked me with their most junior employee who had zero idea how to achieve the look I wanted. She teased my hair for an hour probably then tried to style it. It wasn't working, it looked like crap, she kept messing it up, to the point where I started crying. Thank god for another stylist who came and helped her save my hair.
Ultimately I didn't get the look I wanted but my hair looked nice. She did an updo along the basic vibe that I was going for. They ended up refunding me the entire cost because their stylist failed, it took twice as long as it was supposed to, and she totally fried my hair in the process. I was even late to my makeup. I ended up tipping the other lady who stepped in to help me out the cost of my appointment.
The manager seemed annoyed at me during checkout but honestly I would never come back to this place. The manager clearly messed up this booking, thank god for the other stylist that happened to be there that day.

Excellent customer service. Colette is a gifted, talented stylist. When I was in last week with a different stylist, there was a miscommunication and I didn't receive the hairstyle and color style that I wanted (though the stylist did do a beautiful color, just not what I had wanted, and not the cut I requested). the salon worked hard to make sure that I was pleased with my hair and I came in again for a different haircut and they offered to change the color if I wished, but I felt that just a fix on the cut would be fine. Colette did an amazing job and I love the style she gave me. Thank you Colette and Seven Salon!

This place is FANTASTIC! I spent the day at Seven Salon Spa for my birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better gift. First of all it's beautiful, very clean, and they use very high end products. I had a manicure, pedicure, facial, and massage. All FABULOUS! Everything was seamless and I didn't have to wait long between each service. Moreover, the staff is incredibly friendly.
I called with changes to my reservation at least 3 times and the guy who helped me (I think he was the owner actually) was so patient and accommodating. Greeted when I arrived and received a heartfelt goodbye when I left. I will DEFINITELY be returning.

I was there on vacation and wanted to treat myself. I was a walk in client. I asked if there was time for a manicure. I was put with kendi. She was having a bad day and was in a bad mood. Instead of approaching me with "hello" or "hi my name is kendi" i was approached with " I have to leave by 3pm" I told her that is okay if she didnt have time. She said she could do it but she was on a time crunch.
I was not to crazy about the customer service so far. When she was done with my manicure it looked AMAZING! The best polish job ever. My manicure lasted for almost 2 weeks. no chipping or fading. It was by far one of the best manicures I have had in a long time. I knocked 2 stars off because of her attitude. If i were ever in the area again i would see her for a manicure. But i would not be a regular client.

After a long weekend of eating, drinking, eating, hiking, antiquing, drinking, saving puppies and snuggling baby goats (all true), there's really only one way to wrap up your Berkshires holiday: a massage at Seven Salon Spa. Tucked inside a buttery yellow house, Seven Salon Spa is a full-service salon and spa that lives just a few notches below luxury status.
The down-to-earth feel and accessible, warm and unpretentious atmosphere make for an easy transition to from your daily activities to your spa services, while some of the details keep it from really measuring up to the price tag. Our 50-minute massages, priced at $90 each, where absolutely amazing on their own: skilled technicians who worked slowly but firmly, while quietly checking to see if the pressure/technique was to our satisfaction. Afterward, my back, arms and legs felt free of tension and my body was more relaxed than it had been in ages.
But since you are also paying for atmosphere and amenities at a spa, it's important to consider those in the price. Though the salon is dressed in calming colors, relaxation before and after your treatment is a bit contrived, since there is little separation between the spa/massage/facial area (on the second floor) and the salon services on the first.
The spa lounge, peppered with comfy lounge chairs and a self-serve tea and water station (with lots of delicious teas) contained a changing room that is little more than a single drawback curtain.
