Massage Therapy Associates of the New River Valley is a group of Licensed Massage Therapists practicing through out the Roanoke and New River Valleys. We are diversified integrative health care providers with training in a wide variety of specialties. All of our members have passed a National Therapeutic Massage Certification Exam and are licensed by the Virginia Board of Nursing. Also all associates are members in good standing with either the Associated Bodywork and massage Professional or the American Massage Therapy Association.
Services
Integrated Deep Tissue massage; combining Neuromuscular, Trigger Point Therapy (TP), Travell TP techniques, Deep Swedish massage, Counter strain, Myofacial Release applied according to the needs of the recipient. This is a deeply relaxing massage. This technique uses basalt stones that have been heated.
Despite what google maps say the suite is in the front of the building not in the back. Head South on Main Street (460 east business), passing Ellett Road on the left and the large NBB bank on the right. Continue on passing the Courtyard by Marriott on the Right. Turn left at the next light onto Professional Park Drive.
