Did good job on hair cut. Very expensive. Web site says $18 for man's hair but charges more. When ask they said that is starting price. Prices are priced on demand. Receptionist said next time tell them you would like a $18 cut. Didn't know different prices at same location for hair cuts & had to tell them what wanted to pay. Will not go back

Critical: Quality I was new to town and saw lots of good reviews. My first experience here was okay at best. I got highlights and a trim. However once I got home I saw my hair was very uneven in the back and my husband had to cut it in the bathroom to even it out! This after spending $155! Service: Hairstyling

I didn't know what to expect when going but it turned out to be a good experience. The staff was very friendly, good atmosphere, clean, and most importantly very experienced staff the was able to give the style I wanted with no issues.

Wonderful customer service - I called in Tuesday for an ombre, bangs, and a trim and got the quickest appointment available. My stylist was Lethy (GREATLY recommended!) she was fun, talkative, and helped me understand just what we would be doing and recommended some great alternatives I hadn't even thought of! The staff were very friendly and welcoming; I was laughing along with half of them by the time I left. Lethy was attentive and very thorough with me and my hair, I'm definitely going back and requesting her!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! My hair looks amazing and Lethy made sure to describe each step along the way, including why my bangs had previously been burned off when I'd last had them done and explained why it happened and how she made sure I would get the look I want without causing damage to my hair. I was not referred to by anyone, but found this place when I Google searched hair stylists in Muscatine and this place stood out because it had the most positive reviews and now I can see why. I'll be sure to refer everyone to PHD and Lethy!

Great experience! Lethy cut my hair exactly how I wanted. Atmosphere was so relaxing and all the staff made me feel welcomed. Definitely coming back!

My experience was very disappointing. I was new to the area. I talked in depth with the hairdresser who was assigned to assist me. I had 7 pictures of a hairstyle that I was very excited about. I explained to the hairdresser that I wanted the lowlights in my hair to create the same look. I also told her if she did not feel it was possible to tell me up front and we would discuss other options. She. Told me that it was absolutely doable.

She explained the haircut was a little off so it would take some time to get it exact, and I understoood that, but when she colored my hair it was all the same color. And none of it had highlights. I was not happy at all. She said I could just return and she would correct it. The owner said she would discuss the remedy in full with her before I returned, I agreed to let her try to correct the color.

When I returned two days later she tried to tell me she didn't understand what I wanted. I was very clear and the pictures were very good. She made it a darker brownish blonde. I am still upset and have to allow it to change. Ack to silver/grey before I even attempt anything else. This particular stylist should not be allowed to do color in my opinion.

Just a note. This was two months ago, I waited to write this review because I was too upset to be writing anything. Very upset with losing that much money and have my hair look like a mess now for months. Will not refer anyone to this location.

Definitely a busy place. Keep this in mind if you are a guy who wants a decent hair cut. I felt a little out of place but good barbershops are few and far between nowadays.

I started going to ProHair about 6yrs ago. About 5 yrs ago I started seeing Brandi. I have not gone to another hair stylist since! In January 2016 my family and I moved back to West Central Illinois (approx. 3.5hrs away from Muscatine), however, I still drive the 3.5hrs (one way) to see Brandi every 3 months. I love the atmosphere, the prices are fair (I really appreciate them setting a price they feel is fair and then not accepting tips), and I completely trust Brandi and how she styles my hair. I will not go anywhere or to anyone else.

Megan did an amazing job with my hair! I'd highly recommend you request Megan as your stylist. Megan is professional, friendly, and smart and great at her job! Once every two weeks I fly to Iowa to get my hair done and it's completely worth it!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! I went in with no idea on earth how I wanted my hair but the owner called me personally to discuss before hand and then after I got there, also stopped by my chair just to make sure everything was alright. Also, the gal who did my hair was wonderful! I have never been so happy to look at my hair as I am since getting it done! I will continue to drive from Davenport to Muscatine, just to make sure my hair is done right every time!

Super friendly staff, my stylist Cortnie took the time to listen to what i wanted and then cut my hair to something similar to the picture i showed her. She took her time and made me feel special.

Always friendly and professional. I go here every three weeks for a men's cut and have never been disappointed (thanks, Sara). I have also had a massage here and it's the best I've ever had. Probably the cleanest and nicest salon in Muscatine. The owner is vary active in daily operations and is extremely friendly and accommodating. Make sure to call far enough in advance to schedule an appointment, especially to get in with Sara as her schedule fills up fast.
