I purchased my home that already had a Life Spa. I have lived here for two years and haven't had any issues. The spa maintains itself. The owners previous to me said they loved their spa and told me the same thing, the spa maintains itself. I can see that it is much better quality than the ones you find at Home Depot or Costco. I'm glad the company is still open for services and gentlemen was very nice when I called on the phone. I had called about a new cover.

Service is terrible and it is very high pressure sales. I refused to buy at the initial meeting and they told me I was forfeiting a $500 discount by walking out. But I did some research on other spas and decided it was a decent deal, so I called back a few days later and they honored the same price they said they could only offer the day I had visited.
So I bought the LS7000 in 2008, and it still runs well ten years later, though it has developed a slow leak. The construction of the tub and jets and electronics (at least 10 years ago) was decent quality. I did have to replace the bromine generator after about 18 months, and then it died again about 2 years later and my repair guy said they don't even sell those anymore, so I replaced it with a floater and bromine tablets.
I also had to replace the pump and the circuit board after 5 years. It's extremely hard to find anyone who will service these hot tubs, and the company is impossible to reach once you've given them your money. But I don't know if any other hot tubs are really much better. Everyone I know with a fiberglass tub hates it after 5 years. At least my plastic one is solid and you can sit on the edge of it without cracking it.

Bought a Spa last year. It took them five months to deliver it and only after several angry calls. It is cheaply made with generic parts. My spa is exceptionally loud and the case vibrates when the circulating pump is on. I called and told them the problem and asked if they could put a damper under the pump. They sent out two guys. They told me what a great spa it was and, of course, had no parts to put a damper under the pump.
They then got an old cardboard box from their truck and tried to use the cardboard between the case and spa to solve the problem. It did not. I had to take it apart myself and I was able to lessen the problem but still exceptionally loud. Do not even consider this place, a shameless and pathetic enterprise.

I purchased a hot tub from them 3 years ago (which was a frustrating experience, although it's a great hot tub). I called last week with a question, and found that they are out of business as of a few months ago. The phone number directs you to a company who services Life Spas customers (and the person I spoke to was very nice). But Life Spas is officially out of business.

This company has proven to be dishonest. Thier front girl Wendy leaves much to be desired in the way of customer service she is rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company when researching Spa's. I found they cannot be trusted to keep thier word and honor thier agreements after the sale. They sure are nice and pleasant prior to the purchase. Buyer beware.

I've had 3 Life Spas spanning over 15 years. They have always been arrogant and dismissive but the product has worked well. Not this time. I'll elaborate more later - I'm in the middle of an issue with them - but never ever again will I buy from them. This has been the absolute worst spa I've ever had and, for that matter, the worst large purchase I've ever made. This company has gone down hill fast and my guess is they will be bankrupt and closed soon.

OK So A few years ago I bought A spa from them. Was A Wonderful experience and never had an issue. So I referred A friend over to them when she was going to buy a spa telling her how fabulous they were. We make an appointment to go see the spas and she buys one. Not a cheap one but a bigger one. We were told by the salesman that I would get A referral credit for 100 of products for referring her over. well, after waiting 3 months after delivery I kept calling as I had filled out the form and heard nothing back, on the 4th month of calling i was told by wendy that i had to re-fill out the form because they had changed office staff and it was lost.
I filled it out again and emailed it.a month or so passed and I started calling again about it. I became adamant about getting a hold of wendy and finding out what the problem was. I finally got her on the phone at which time she was less than friendly and told me i was not going to get the credit because I lived at the address of the person that bought the spa.
I asked to speak to her manager and she hung up on me! I dont understand what the difference was. I moved in with someone and told them to buy a Spa from Lifespas. OK now issue #2. In the meantime my friend has been calling because there was an issue with the pump on the spa, SHE keeps leaving messages for wendy and no calls back. Finally A service guy calls her back.
Well she called again and requested the name of the owner so she could talk with him about the lack of response and obvious difference in service from one experience to another and has heard absolutely nothing. I can only guess its the personell? I would never again recommend anybody to them as I own a business and would not want to be associated with anyone that does business in this manner. The rudeness and lack of concern they have is overwhelming.

I bought a life spa exactly 1 1/2 years ago spent 5,000 for the spa. I had my first leak, my warranty says I have 2 years for a majority of possible leaks. I called spoke with Wendy she tells me I have the wrong warranty paper work through no fault of my own and as a FYI I should have unscrewed the panels to get the model number off my spa and matched up with my paper work.
Really WTF I pay you 5,000 grand for. After a lengthy conversation with Wendy she said she would honor the warranty but I would have to pay 115.00 for one of their bozos to come out and determine if it's a defective product or not. I said hell no I just paid off 5,000. Needless to say that conversation was over quick. I decided to take matters in my own hands for free turns out it's a crappy light they installed, the light housing cracked underneath the spa.
Take a look at the pictures you can see it's been leaking for a while. Unbelievable for less then two years old. I drained it regular have a gazebo to cover it with privacy curtains. Do not waste your money this place is a scam.

I wish there was a negative rating! I bought a $10,000 hot tub from these people and my speakers weren't working properly. I've been calling there for months and been givin the run around. I emailed pics of the equipment that I have they said they would send someone out. MONTHS have gone by no one calls me now when I call no one picks up the phone I leave messages no one reruns my call.
By far the worst customer service I have ever received. McDonalds cares more about their customers and they sell food that kills people. ENOUGH SAID! If the owner reads this please fire everyone you have working at that shop they're ruining your reputation. I will be reporting to the BBB

Warning when you set the meeting up with the sales rep you'll be walking into a HIGH pressure sales pitch. They'll probably give you a song and dance about how they're moving and need to get rid of stock. Then they'll sit you throw a lengthy disingenuous PowerPoint presentation aimed at making you think their spas are really better than the name brands.
It felt very similar to a time share presentation. My meeting with the sales rep was not a positive experience. I felt extremely pressured to buy right then and was "purposely" mislead by their very questionable sales tactics and half truths. Do your homework and compare "all" the options as a deal may not be a deal after all. I toned down the wording from my original review after I was contacted by the sales rep in question.
I personally would NEVER do business with this company. Update. I was originally "tricked" into making an appointment by the lady answering the phone, I was told that "they were moving and had to get rid of stock at blow out prices. I was told that "I needed to get in right away". Next week might be too late. That was back in September of 2015. I quickly realized that I was suckered into a hard sell / high pressure environment and was being mislead, as was apparent by my above review.
So they're still here, my review should be a big red flag of the honesty of this establishment. If they want this review to go away, they could simply move, like I was told they were and this review would disappear as it was written for their old address.

I bought the LS 1180 (or its equivalent back then) 9 years ago. I live in the desert and wanted something that could double as a sort of small pool. I have basically had no issues with this spa, I love it. It takes barely any work to keep the water clean and clear. It is super sturdy and the pump and bromine generator have never had any issues. For any products I have needed, the staff at the offices we're very helpful and friendly.

I have not had the unit long enough to tell you about how it is holding up, but it really rocks. The quality seems to blow away all the $5-10K tubs out there! They will not quote prices over the phone or on their site, and you do have to drive in for the 3+ hour sales spiel that is worth it. Initially I was not going to drive to Chino a mystery spa, but finally curiosity got to me. Tim (the Owner) is a showman and a pro bar none!
If you have any inkling of a chance of buying a hot tub, Tim will sell you one for twice what you ever would imagine paying. The truth is that the Cal Spas and other mass produced cheap spas have to be replace every 8-10 years, The shell starts to wear and all the motors and heaters need constant service. I finally settled in on a $5K model (originally thinking I could get one for $3K), when Tim finally had me up on the ropes, I caved in on bought all the bells and whistles for $7,000. I don't think we would have been this happy with anything less! If nothing else it is worth educating yourself with the show!

On June 14th my wife and I attended a session with Tim (owner) and a few other potential customers. The reason for having to attend a session is because very little information is provided over the phone. We decided to purchase a LS6800 spa with the delivery date to be 4-5 weeks after which would have been July 12th or 19th. Eleven weeks later on August 25th my spa was delivered.
During this 11 week period I called 3-4 times looking for answers and my spa. Not once was a called returned until we actually spoke to Cindy. Once they were able to determine the delivery date, I was asked to provide pictures to show there was enough space into my backyard and where the spa would actually sit. I forward 3 pictures over and followed up with a conversation to make sure they had exactly what they needed for the delivery.
When it came time for the delivery. I was told they could not deliver the spa due to the height of my eaves to the ground ( 79 inches from the eaves to the ground and the width of the spa was 83 inches). This entrance to my backyard was provided via pictures and I also had 3 relatives in addition to the two delivery individuals and myself available to help carry if necessary. Needless to say I was told I needed a crane to deliver our spa and the cost would be $350.
I immediately reached out to Life Spas in hopes to split the cost since I provided everything that was requested, not to mention 6-7 weeks late without any courtesy phone call. After being on the phone with Tim (owner) for about 30-40 mins. going back and forth about his company picking up some of the cost for the crane, all Tim was interested in was how the pictures did not provide an accurate visual for the delivery and my point was I provided what they asked for and I was only requesting Tim to meet me half way with the cost or some type of discount.
At the end of the conversation nothing was settled. The only thing Tim was willing to do was to provide a $50 gift card in spa chemicals. He was not willing to work with me and Tim was a classic example of over promising and under delivering once the contract was already signed. It is still too early to comment in the spa itself, although we are very excited to have it in place. But my word if advice would to stay away from Tim and his company in Chino, California. Very disappointed customer with the service. John

I'm only giving this place 1 star because yelp doesn't allow me to give them negative 5 stars! Not only did these people not show up to the appointment we set up to come take a look and fix our spa but they never called! We sat around waiting for them for several hours and they never showed up. I will never ever do business with these clowns again! Stay away, unless, of course, you like being stood up.

I bought my LifeSprings spa in 2000. I used it for a few months and put it away (outside in the sun and empty) for over 12 years. Needless to say I was caught off guard when I couldn't find "LifeSprings Spas" in my internet searches now that I am reconnecting my spa. I happened to run across LifeSpas in my search for answers and I have had an impeccable experience with dealing with this company.
I called multiple times a day for help as I am no electrician and no spa expert and the staff was always so helpful and friendly. I tried calling other spa companies for some over-the-phone technical support only to get the run around and told a technician would have to come out to troubleshoot and a cost of hundreds of dollars. In dealing with LifeSpas I have found that I purchased a quality product and awesome customer service.
I couldn't ask for a better business relationship. By the way, after leaving my spa sitting on its side in the HOT California weather for nearly 13 years, it cleaned up beautifully, started right up and has been running like a champ! Thank you to the following staff members for your amazing service and support: Julie Mike David and the nice lady that answers the phone :) After my 22 years of customer service experience, I would be able to pick out a complaint in a heartbeat. It is hard to meet the standards I expect in customer service and I can attest that I have ZERO complaints about LifeSpas. They have a customer for LIFE.

I have purchased the LS7000 spa, from LifeSpa. They will not tell you the price of their spas over the phone. You will have to go to the orientation, and they will show you a powerpoint presentation of how their spas, compare to other company spas. I had initially asked Tim, beginning our presentation what the spa would cost, and he told me, to listion to the whole presentation first, and then he will go over that with me.
First off, they give you free snacks during the presentation, so that way you don't get hungry. As I recalled, the presentation is about 2 hours. I think we were there for 3 hours, because we had to decide on which spa to choose from, and then they checked my credit with GE CAPITAL, and they gave me a $12,000.00 limit, with 18months of 0% I did receive the spa, around 3 to 4 weeks later, and I had to hire someone to install the electrical, since mine was a 240 volt spa.
I purchased the Duraflex spa, and I am pretty happy with it. About 8 months of owning the spa, I had a short on the electric pump connection, and I had to pay them $129.00 for the service call, since it was under warranty. Would I recommend them to my friends? I sure will, because despite the fact of them going over all the details of what their spas offer, and they do a comparative analysis of other spas, and they show you how to maintain your spa, with the right chemicals.

Let me say that my attempt to do business with this company was bizarre! Despite a slew of negative reviews on various sites, I decided to give them a call. I wanted preliminary info, including budget pricing and general details. The guy on the phone refused to tell me anything! He said he worked for the manufacturer's rep and he could only set up an appointment with the manufacturer's representative. OK.
So I asked who the representative was. He said that it depends on the day of the appointment. Alarm bells went off! This sounds suspiciously like a hard-sell outfit, that brow-beats the consumer into buying. So, I told him that. I said, "This sound like a hard sell and I am not interested in that, so thanks for your time." And he hung up. No rejoinder, rebuttal or goodbye.
Just 'click'. It seems to me that they are more interested in hooking suckers than selling and servicing a reputable product; used car salesment types at their very worst. Another reviewer said he got a lot of stone-walling after he bought the spa. I got stone walled before I even saw one!
