It's sad to see this club go downhill, I have been a member for 10 years, and I still am to this place, but the new ownership is making some big changes making it way worse. 1) the "new" locker rooms are not clean and very old 2) they don't give towels in locker room, "check out towels only" 3) have the gym equipment is missing from gym room 4) everyone is rude 5) they don't give water anymore 6) they raised there prices 7) they charge a lot of money for guest (doing them a favor bringing guest. Hopefully, they get a handle of what they are doing and I'll be sure to keep my membership, if not, I will be cancelling.

Hey've been coming down on me for little things rather than say hi how are you since I've had the membership. when the trainer told me I couldn't use the machines a certain way and and then continued their hurang while six people cornered me all shaking their heads and then they threatened to call the police on me and escorted me out of the building They succeeded at arbitrarily kicking me off and terminating my membership with a mob mentality so be weary joining this gym especially if you're a physically fit single woman bc you'll have trainers and female staff breathing down your neck and angry at the sight of someone more advanced than themselves on site.
The first thing for me was few weeks ago. when the phone answering girl used a lot of attitude on the phone hanging up on me. She never ended up getting me in touch with the supervisor. I let it go bc I have not had a bad operator experience since and someone apologized on her behalf. And they said don't let it ruin your day and enjoy your time by the pool.
Then they tell me I cannot have food delivered to the front desk. But food is allowed on site. So they're singling me out and letting me know I cannot do something I'm allowed to do while walking in the door. Before saying hi how are you doing or welcome to the club. I have had the DoorDash drivers leave the food outside on the stone wall since the front is unwilling to accept the food for members but the pizza party for the kids seems fine and allowed?
At this point they're just finding reasons to tell me what I cannot do So today the trainer came up two cm from my Face while I was stretching and told me "you can't do that" and I just lost it. Bc I'm sick of them always telling me don't do this don't do that. He's not my trainer. I didn't request his advice. He cannot control my movements in the fitness room.
To this his reply was "yes I can" I escalate to screaming as six people come towards me all smirking and telling me my behavior is inappropriate and "you seem frustrated" Having them call the cops on me for literally using the gym where I paid to be. The lady said "go to your car, the cops are on their way" has left a bad taste and I see now they set me up to see me victimized bc they see I'm single woman there alone.
They had police escort me to clean my Locker out. Overall traumatizing experience. Would advise against this business and their sloppy overweight staff members angry to see someone better than them thriving and freely using their equipment. Also good luck to younger women joining by themselves bc they'll target you to systematically kick certain people out.

Amazing! I came here to watch the tennis finals last week and it was simply spectacular! All the courts are well maintained and clean. The viewing area for the courts is really nice and the staff is very polite. They have a pool and gym for respective activities. Hand sanitizers are all around to keep clean! Highly recommend! It also has a stadium court which is cool!

Where to even start? TCC has gone through so much over the past year or so. The Club is now under new ownership and I couldn't be more thankful to them! They have made this place a home away from home again. The owners have already started upgrading the whole facility with repainting, new furniture, and other beautiful upgrades. Their investments do not go unnoticed.
They have been extremely kind to us all - members and employees alike! TCC has offerings inside and outside to accommodate for all members' preferences (not an easy task). I personally am so excited to see what happens next. If you are looking to join, now is definitely the time to do so!

Love love love the club! When they closed during the pandemic, it was so sad because I remember playing tennis here as a kid and my oldest swam for tcc. Currently, my middle child takes swim and tennis lessons here. The instructors are amazing :) Love the classes and the facility! I'm so glad that I'm a member :)

Place is nice but could be nicer for the price one pays. Should be open a lot earlier that 530. Should probably open at 4am. They make you wear masks while doing cardio when there is 4 people at most in that room. Which is ridiculous someone can pass out and the club be liable for a lawsuit. Probably will cancel as hours are not early enough and mask mandate while on cardio machines is ridiculous.

For my last visit to Ambiance salon, after their opening post-Covid closure, I noticed a decadence in their service. The receptionist I made the appointment with, an older woman, tried pushing for services I was not requesting. She booked me with a 24-years-old stylist who was terrible: over bleached, black patches of hair. My worse experience in all the years of getting highlights. She washed my hair with purple shampoo and chemicals that burned my scalp. She never acknowledged her mistakes.

So sad. Was a member as a kid then 15 years later as an adult. My daughters from 2-5 years old was a member. Always thought, yeah it's not cheap. But having her grow up in that environment - thinking the club was where you hung out on a weekend instead of a mall or whatever. That was worth it. Was a way of life I loved out of Claremont in 2016 and was no longer a member. But I'll remember it fondly. From when I was a kid until my own kids got to go.

Great facility that just keeps getting better. They are upgrading their spin studio & I cant wait. Super family friendly and kind, helpful staff. Their cafe has new espresso machine & local baked goods from Creme & Wolfe's Market, as well as, healthy smoothies. Also, they provide excellent childcare (it is reasonably priced) while you workout or use their spa services (facials, massage, hair, nails) at Ambiance and you don't have to be a member. Walk-in are welcome.

The Claremont Club is my sanctuary. After returning to the area, I needed to join a gym that provides the amenities I'm accustomed to and the Claremont Club has it all. It's clean, well-maintained and the staff and members are friendly and considerate. I would ask that people stop wearing their gym clothes and shoes in the sauna area - super nasty and unsanitary. Also: phones in the sauna - really? That's just plain weird and rude; there are naked people in there that don't feel comfortable with someone with a (camera) phone. Other than that, I highly recommend if here!

Home away from home. There is no better pool in Southern California - 50 meters during the spring and summer. They have a kids competitive swim team and masters swim team. They have racquetball, pickleball, tennis, family pool, wonderful salon for hair, nails, massage (Travis is the best), and skin, and so much more. The service is top notch at the front desk and all throughout the club.
It is clean, not crowded, and you can work out in the weight room easily. For Zumba, try Rudy's class and for yoga, go with Elizabeth. I do personal training with Ben and he whipped me in shape. It is expensive but it's worth every dime. I drive 45 minutes to go to the TCC almost every day.
