I got a gift card for this place for my birthday and I was so excited because it was gonna be my first massage. The front desk lady was amazing and super sweet. My message started off really well but about 25 minutes in I could tell the technician was on her phone, I could hear the clicking of the power button and she even let out a snicker. She would stop randomly because she was clearly distracted and she kept stopping and going for about 20 minutes.
This completely threw me off and I wasn't able to enjoy and relax as much as I should've been able to. I didn't catch her name but this was extremely unprofessional and phones should not be allowed in the room for multiple reasons.

I came to enjoy a much needed self-care day, with a gel manicure and gel pedicure. Color selection: Seems decent, but after making my manicure choice my technician told me there "wasn't enough". as in, the bottle on the wall was too empty for a manicure. They didn't have any back-stock, so I had to pick another color. When I showed her the pedicure color on the display swatch, she couldn't find the bottle of polish. Again, no back-stock, so I had to select an alternate pedicure color too. Gel pedicure: She trimmed my toenails SUPER short, which is not what I asked for!
I can still see dry skin on my heels. Barely any foot/leg massage. The gel polish application was good. Gel manicure: Goodbye cuticles - she nipped the skin way too close on 2 fingers (they were very red & tender!). The shape is not at all what I wanted. Again, very lazy massage. Unfortunately, unlike my pedicure, this polish application is pretty sloppy. Atmosphere: Clean.
But not relaxing - the clients on either side of me were definite regulars and their technicians were chatting up a storm with them. Mine barely said a few words to me. Overall I'm ok with a more quiet experience and would have appreciated a little more peace this time (it is a "spa" after all.) I do like the ease of online booking, and I'm glad I had a gift card to cover half of the cost (it's NOT cheap!). But overall, just not impressed. I will be looking for another place next time I need some me-time.

The front desk staff was helpful and kind. That is why there are three stars. My service was uncomfortable, damaging to my nails, unfriendly and cold. When the tech was cutting my cuticles she clipped my nail, causing it to get caught in my scarf and tear off. Not a great way to end a manicure. The chairs are uncomfortable and to far from the tech. Making their job difficult. The manicure was lack luster, no eye contact, no smile or even an acknowledgment that I was human. I will not be back.

I will say it's been several months since my massage and was going to just leave it be, but every time I think about my last experience here I get irritated so I came back to write my review. I had been getting massage here off and on over the past several years and for the most part it was good. But this last whole experience was a disaster from start to finish.
I arrived 5 min early, text them as requested to let them know I arrived. They texted back to ask me to come in 5 min after my scheduled appointment time, and they were not prepared for me when I came in at the front desk. So my appointment started late. I gave the therapist specifics (VERY detailed as I am a massage therapist myself and have been practicing for 19 years) so she would know my problem areas.
I was rather disturbed by her techniques as she was literally ON the table which is against WA state law, and it was extremely uncomfortable. I couldn't relax at all knowing she was doing this. I let it go, but then at two other points during the massage she was working on my shoulder and forearm and she was literally massaging directly on the bone and it hurt like a mo-fo and I told her to stop, that it really hurt and it wasn't a good technique.
Her only reply was "deep tissue is supposed to feel like this, just breathe through it." I told her I was a massage therapist and not only is deep tissue NEVER to feel like that (you NEVER massage ON bone tissue!), but when a client asks you to stop doing something, YOU STOP. She got irritated that I asked, and moved on for about 10 more minutes, but during this time she was so irritated that it was not relaxing at all.
She stopped and told me my massage was over. I looked at the clock and she had cut my massage time 10 minutes short (total of 35 min for an "hour" massage IN ADDITION to incorporating the late start so that she would be back on track for her following massages. I literally have NEVER in all my years ever wanted to actually end a massage because it was so bad, until that one.
I was actually in more pain and more irritated after my massage than when I arrived. Which is why when she stopped early, I just got up because I wasn't going to be able to tolerate her massage any longer anyway. I would have ended it myself. Just to top it off, afterwards, the receptionist made no point of asking how my massage was and I felt like they were trying to rush me out of there.
She didn't talk to me except to give me a total cost, ask if I wanted to leave a tip (oh hell no!). I said "absolutely not" and she didn't even ask why or if there was a problem. As a LMT myself, I try and give therapists the benefit of the doubt as everyone has bad days, but this was literally the WORST massage I have every had, even in massage school!
If I have a bad massage I just don't go back, but I have never felt inclined to write a review until now. I can't believe I even paid for it just to get out of there. So disappointed and would never send anyone there after that which is sad as I'm sure not all the therapists there are bad.

I got a Signature Pedicure and Tension Relief Massage here yesterday. I love their online self-scheduling system. It's really slick! I was able to get same-day appointments only about one hour ahead of time. The Signature Pedicure was fantastic and relaxing! I loved it and it's about $12-15 less than the Spa Pedicure you can get at Gene Juarez and very comparable to that.
I loved the pedicure process and am super pleased with the look of my nails! The Tension Relief Massage was okay. I really enjoyed talking with my masseuse and she even got me in early, but the massage itself was painful because the focus was on working out knots vs. soothing. I'll likely do it again but next time will ask for a lighter touch so it's more relaxing.
This is a clean, relaxing environment with friendly staff. They offer high quality services at lower prices than you can get elsewhere. As I mentioned, the self-scheduling for me is a huge selling point because it's so convenient!

I'm a manicure rookie, but InSpa did awesome by me for my first time getting my fingernails glamorized! I wanted to have a girls' morning and get a French manicure for my bridesmaids and me before my wedding the next day. My mom also had a little group who wanted to do the same thing. Getting info was so easy: the girls at the front counter helped me figure out what would be best (gel, to weather a wedding!) and get all booked, well in advance.
They didn't have enough seats to handle my girls and my mom's girls at once, but no worries! We booked back-to-back appointments so we could overlap and socialize. Then, it was really the manager, Kimber, who went above and beyond. She arranged a group discount, had an awesome array of snacks and treats for us, and had everything situated!
We truly felt spoiled! Donna did my nails, and she was so meticulous and artistic, leaving me with the most beautiful nails I've ever had! She was also sweet and a blast to chat with. After me, she did my mom's very challenging nails (they have a propensity for splitting and cracking) in the next appointment, and my mom was beyond thrilled with how gorgeous Donna made them.
Each of the other girls was just as excited about her nails - the technicians did awesome work. It also should be mentioned the spa was so kind when one member of my mom's group wanted to change to a pedicure at the last minute, then ultimately no-showed. They made what was a little stressful and irritating into a non-issue. Love the customer service. I'm sure I'm not gonna change into a manicure-nut overnight, but this is definitely where I'll go next time I'm looking for some glamorized nails!

I had the Signature Pedicure today. I was not very impressed. I didn't think the person that did my pedicure was very friendly, she seemed "Luke warm" towards me and appeared to be only doing the bare minimum. There was no massage, unless what they mean by massage was the jetted tub. I didn't think there was any extra care for callus and cuticle maintenance either.
One of the nails on my left big toe got smudged (my fault) and rather than re-do the toe, she simple painted over it. Is this standard? Now this toe has a clump of nail polish at the base. She gave me something for my neck, but it wasn't very warm. I had asked her why it was so noisy at the start of the Pedicure and she said it was the tub. Then she questioned me on haven't you had this before?
I told her it has been awhile since I've had a Pedicure at InSpa. Interesting that I don't recall the tubs being so loud when I have had pedicures previously. I think if you had more quite jetted tubs it would make the entire experience more relaxing. Additionally, I selected two similar nail polishes and wanted to know/see the difference.
I had asked the girls at the front desk about them and they said that the person doing my pedicure would help me and let me try the colors so I can see which one I'd like to use. When I asked about the polishes she only told me one was more pink, but she did not even offer to have them looked at on a nail to see which I preferred. Lastly, before the end of my pedicure, she had left then came back and questioned if I had smudged my toes again by getting off the chair?
I told her I did not and was very careful not to let the leg rest slip down as it had before. I had the Classic and Signature pedicures from this location and the U-Village one in the past and those seemed better than this Signature massage. I was in need of a pedicure and thought of InSpa because of my previous experiences. I usually go to Gene Juarez since I also have Salon Services done there. I should have just gone there. I do think that the girls that checked me in and out were nice, welcoming and I did appreciate the friendly customer service.

I recently visited In Spa in Woodinville and had a brow and lip wax service from Christina. She was very friendly when she meet me in the lobby to escort me back to room. It was so warm and inviting with soft music playing! Christina was very quick but still thorough, making sure to shape my brows perfectly and get every hair! It was so calming, didn't hurt one bit! I highly recommend getting a waxing service from Christina! I know I will be back soon!

I had an appointment at the Mill Creek location at 9:30 this morning for my first Brazilian. On my way to my appointment they called me and said that the person had called out sick. Fortunately, they got me rescheduled at Woodinville for 11:15. I ran some errands and showed up early. I checked in and Jenny quickly got started. She was very quick and efficient and constantly asked if I was doing okay.
She was so very kind and patient. She answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease. The staff at the front were just as kind and considerate. I had an amazing experience. Thank you InSpa Woodinville and thank you Jenny!

I have been a client at In Spa for ever. It is my go to for all my waxing needs and I also get my lashes done here. Donna does my lashes and let me tell you. She is by far THE BEST! AMAZING. She has been doing lashes for years, in fact I have followed her from a previous place to here. She takes great pride and clearly loves doing lashes! Her work is beautiful. I always get compliments on my lashes and people ask where I go. She is amazing! Trust me you will never want to go anywhere else.

If I could give zero stars I would. I originally came in with a friend to get a gel manicure and in less than a week my nails look terrible; the polish was cracking and built up at my cuticles, which made me very uncomfortable at work having such terrible looking nails. When I called to express my frustrations, they had me come in for a reapplication.
The nail tech that did my second polish was very kind and took her time unlike the original tech. Unfortunately the tech who did my first polish was there and felt it necessary to come up and ask why I was there again. She was so unprofessional both times and unfortunately ruined my experience. I will never go back.

InSpa contacted me to make up for my previous visit. I opted for a 60-minute massage. I loved my massage therapist Megan so much that I asked to extend this to 90 minutes. The room temperature was perfect. Bed was heated. The head rest was on the big side but workable. The noise level was good: you could not hear any conversations and traffic from the area outside.
Even during the music pause, you could not hear anything. Now let's get down to the important stuff: I could tell that Megan was experienced after the first 10 minutes. Deep tissue massage I asked for and I got that! I suspect that she used to own a fitness center helps! She is a walking ad for health and fitness: she is toned and obviously very fit.
Some therapists will massage generally and that is all they do. I prefer someone who truly knows her muscle groups and is more focused. Megan really took the time to understand my problem areas and addressed them all. Other therapists might also spend more time using compression techniques. Megan took the time to find a balance between compression and massage stretching.
Final clincher is that she showed me exercises I could do at home. $109 for 90 minutes is well worth the investment with Megan. I will be back! Thank you InSpa for giving me another opportunity to enjoy your services.
