I don't even want to give one star. We just wanted a few fouls and they burned my daughters hair and scalp and she looks like a zebra. Horrible.

This was the worst expierence I have ever had. She did not listen when I asked for my hair cut to be a specific way. I have been going through multiple major surgeries and my hair is falling out and matting in the back. So I said cut short in the back and very long in the front. It should have had a nice angle and front layer about chest length. The back was fine and then she just cut all off in the front and said it won't look right.

I even showed pics of what I wanted. All of my hair is now so short it barely can go in a pony tail. I stopped her because she just kept cutting and cutting. She even charged me as I left balling my eyes out with barely any hair left. My hair was to the middle of my back when I walked in and pretty much all gone when I left. I would give negative stars if I could.

Okay I left feeling great. I got a keratin treatment for $350. I got one a few months before at a different salon and paid $200. But oh well I live and learn. BUT when you still have the frizz and not just "wave" as she told me I would still have. The first one I got my shine was wonderful for 2 months and for over 3 months it was smooth. I filled out the form that they asked for a review they asked if I wanted someone to call me about it, and I said yes, well guess what.

I did not get a callback. Don't ask if you are not going to do it. I don't recommend this salon. The woman who did my hair had been there for over 10 yrs and she spoke about how after covid the business is down. I have to wonder if it is down for good reason. :

Fantastic experience. Had highlights put in, changed my entire look. Jazz was phenomenal. She describes herself as the newest and not a " Master Stylist" but she is wrong! Highly recommend her and I will definitely be a repeat client. Thanks Jazz & H2O

I went there today- the esthetician who performed the services was very nice and professional- but I was charged $85 and it looks Like I just had mascara placed on- all in all with a cash tip I spent over $100 and it looks like I got nothing done. It was supposed to be a lash lift and tint- there's glue all over my eyelid

Jazz (spelling?) did an excellent job of transforming my long, dry, tired hair into a healthy, much shorter cut, refreshing my natural curls! I wasn't sure exactly what length or style I wanted, but she patiently helped me make a decision based on my thoughts and her ideas. She showed me photos of her ideas which was very helpful. She is passionate about curls, especially, and made suggestions about products to use for enhancing my curls.

She was also very respectful to my sensitivities to certain hair products. She listened to my needs and went over various products to find ones that worked for me. Her excitement and enthusiasm for working on my hair was wonderful! It's the lift I needed! Very grateful!

This was my first time getting my lashes done, Tori listened and did exactly everything to fit my needs! I wear glasses so I needed them short enough not to hit my lens but also wanted them to look like a volume set! She definitely nailed it!

They call me so frequently asking about setting up appointments and deals that I had to block them. Like literally at least every other week I got calls from them. It's incessant, like send emails, don't cold call people during the work day. I deleted my previous three star review because I felt bad, but the calling got to the point where I felt the need to put it up. The pictures of what I asked for versus what I got. It was over $350 not including tip.

I'm not only disappointed in this salon service, but the lack of resolution to a legitimate issue. I went in for a pre-vacation Brazilian, lower leg and underarm wax. Now it's been a while since I have been waxed but I do remember what the end result was. This came nowhere near close. First, the poor girl couldn't seem to rip the strips off on one go.

I could overlook that but she left me to clean myself up. I didn't realize just how bad it was until I got home. My lady bits were literally waxed shut. Oh, and there was still hair everywhere! In the dark waxing room I couldn't see that. I was also bruised beyond belief. I called the salon within 30 minutes to tell them what happened. I was told that it was basically my fault.

The patchiness on my legs was because the hair was too short (could that maybe have been mentioned?), the bruising was because the hair was too long (then ask me to trim a bit first; I did ask and she she said it was fine). Oh, and apparently it's because I'm "hormonal" that bruising was bad. The esthetician told me to take a hot bath after the wax. Fortunately I knew that was a recipe for disaster (bacterial breeding ground) and didn't go for a soak.

I had a fever from the pain and another esthetician told me that's not related to waxing. I'd expect an esthetician to know that it's a normal response in about 60% of women and had to explain the immune response to the removal of any barrier on the body. My biggest issue is the amount of wax left. I finally had to use Gold Bond to stop sticking to myself and my clothes.

I had to call the gynecologist as well and they were pretty appalled. My thighs look like I was assaulted. Their resolution was to tell me there was nothing they could do except offer a gift card. There's no way I'm going back there with that attitude. I ended up having to file a complaint with the NH authorities.

Have been going there for a few months for color and cut. On my recent visit my stylist said she wanted to try something different. I was game. She ended up doing foils. My hair came out fine, nothing great. The shock was when I checked out and the charge was double what I normally pay. I feel very strongly that she should have told me the price difference prior to doing it, especially since it wasn't something I specifically requested. Very disappointed in what I consider a bad business practice.

After seeing all the old reviews I thought I'd leave a current one! I've been seeing Selma for a few years which is probably my longest streak w/a stylist. She is amazing with both cuts and color. I have fine thin hair and she was able to add layers and volume to my flat blah hair. Everyone there is super nice and down to earth, prices are great too!

Cannot say enough about how great my experience has been over the past year with this salon! I get so many compliments on my hair after every time I go in for an appointment. I don't even research or google what I want next anymore-Selma just knows how to color and play with my hair to match my complexion and highlight my features. She and Matthew will not disappoint!

I came to H2O to go blonde and got a full foil and my hair came out amazing! I had Matthew who was extremely knowledgable and did exactly what I wanted. He explains everything very thoroughly and concisely. I have never been happier with how my hair has turned out, I definitely will be coming back, he is the best :

Selma has been doing my hair since June and is a magician! I have fine, thin hair which I'm attempting to grow out and she makes this in between stage actually look great! In times like these, it's wonderful to have have a stylist who is an expert at what she does and who cares just as much about my safety as my hair. I can't recommend Selma enough!

Ended up at this salon on a whim and I'm so glad I did! The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and squeezed me in for appointments to get done what I needed done really quickly. Briana is amazing and extremely talented and gave me beautiful, fused extensions for my wedding day after she returned me to my natural hair color. She also gave me the BEST blowout I've ever had in my life and I'm still not over it, haha.

I was nervous about the extensions, and they're NOT cheap, but she's had them herself for years and relates her own experience to the client which for me was really helpful bc they do require maintenance. I couldn't believe how full and gorgeous the hair was after she installed them, it was honestly breathtaking on our big day and people couldn't stop commenting on my hair! So.huge thank you to Briana!

This salon is over an hour from me, but it's worth it. In addition, Lilly was fantastic and gave me my first (and amazing) airbrushes spray tan as well as an eyebrow tint which looked great. She also did a "trial" lash extension on me to check sensitivity of the glue which we found out I had so we couldn't rebook, but I'm confident the lash extensions would have looked amazing if we were able to go forward with it.

Because we couldn't go this route, she suggested a lash lift and got me in last minute so that my lashes looked long and perfect for my wedding as well. I honestly don't know how I used to live in Manchester and NOT know about this place!

I was not really happy with my hair they charged me $230 for hair color I was happy to pay the amount but the color was off it needed to be processed twice and the look was not what I wanted not happy will not go there again overpriced I thought I would get what I wanted - save your money

I made a request for an appointment through their online system and never got any correspondence so after a couple days, I called them directly. I had mentioned that I requested a day two weeks out, but I could come sooner if they had absolutely, and they did. I made the appointment. I got multiple calls a week later about how there was an appointment request but they saw my name on the schedule and wanted to clarify. So, not very organized.

When I got to my appointment, the receptionist was very friendly and brought me back to a chair for my "consultation". I needed to push hair clippings that COVERED the entire chair before sitting down while three staff members watched and didn't say anything. I left with other people's hair all over my clothes. To top it off, I have no idea why they make you schedule an appointment, because my consultation consisted of a stylist in the middle of a haircut leaving his client to run his hands through my hair without washing them, then going right back to her hair.

He asked me a few quick questions about what I wanted while working on another client and then LEFT his client sitting there to sell me something. If this were my business, I'd be embarrassed.

I went in to this salon 8 months pregnant (beach blonde). I wanted to go brunette ( I showed a Kate Middleton picture) before my baby arrived for low maintenance hair. The owner applied a level 4 to my beach blonde hair which resulted in a Jet black hair color. In the past when I've gotten the same service done at a different salon, they applied a (5,6) to avoid this issue.

The owner had another hairdresser book her Botox appointment right in front of me and other clients. I thought it was very unprofessional. The service ended up being $200. I left the salon crying as I walked to my car. I hid inside my house for weeks as I was embarrassed. Luckily, I got it fixed at another salon, but they couldn't fix it well.

After months of the color fading, I finally have my hair where I wanted it in the first place. I will never step foot in this salon again. they need major updating on staff, manners, their interior, and maybe a class on how to act professional in front of clients.

Updating from my previous 2014 review: H20 Salon continues to deliver for me. I've been using their services for over 10 years and, even on those few and far between times that I may not have had the exact experience for which I had wished, they (Heather, Gretchen, the staff) have made sure that my outcome was satisfactory. Gretchen has been my stylist for more than several years now and probably the most patient (and talented!) hair stylist that I've ever encountered.

Her calm demeanor, the way she asks questions, and the way that she is interested in how her customer is working with their hair (growing? going short? changing color?) is always addressed professionally and personally. I've never (ever) felt like a commodity, always as a treasured customer.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SALON The salon has no warmth, it reminds me of a budget salon. The stylist Kelly seemed to be just out of school. I received the worst haircut of my life. She was rough and kept pulling my hair. My hair was all uneven. She trimmed in some layering after it was dry. The cut was just terrible. I had to go have it fixed by stylist at my friends Salon. I would recommend you not go to this salon! I wish I could give no stars. I left there just about in tears.

This place is awful! Sent my 16 year old there before prom to get her hair colored. my mother gave her a gift certificate that had been given to her a while ago. My mother called and asked if it was still valid and they said of course that gift cert do not expire. My daughter got her hair done and when it was time to pay they couldn't find the gift cert in the system.

My daughter called me and put me on the phone with the receptionist she said that she was going to have the owner call me. I never received a call. About a half hour later my daughter texts me and said the police were called. I called h20 and the receptionist told me that they had had some stolen gift cert in the past. I was irate! noone had called me and now the police we're called on my daughter.

At that point I drove to the salon. The receptionist then explained to me that the gift certificate could not be transfered and needed to be used by whomever it was bought for. Why not say that to begin with? So why were the police called? The owners fiance is there and explains that things got blown out of proportion. He was on the phone with the owner while talking to me.

I then pay the $140 bill and while doing that I see the fiance approach my daughter and her friend. He said that the owner had seen them steal product on camera that she was watching at home. He then searched her purse and found nothing! I'm beyond mad and call the police. Long story short the police review the video and there has been no theft of any sort!

Which I knew. So my daughter was detained at this salon for 3 hours being accused of 1st stolen gift cert and then stealing product. Not once did the owner show her face or call me. My daughter is a minor and did not deserve to be treated like this! I will never return and I will do whatever I can to get this story out there. They should be ashamed of how they treated my daughter and myself! It amazes me that they can run a business. Unbelievable!

Dear heather, Thank you for your response however you must have me confused with someone else. I have NEVER colored my hair from a box and I never returned to your salon to get my hair fixed as no one returned my call to assist me with my complaint after they spoke with you.

Never once left here happy with the color of my hair. Now I have "hot roots" - aka orange roots and an ugly orange-brown shade on the rest of my hair. Stay away.

I don't know how this salon was voted the "Best of New Hampshire". This was the worst. Also, I have been to this salon 3 different times and there is never any customers in the salon. Now I know why. I have had 3 different stylists and all 3 were horrible. The receptionist was so "dizzy". I asked her to have the owner call me several times and the owner has never returned my call. This salon is HORRIBLE. They are also trying to push their Bumble & Bumble products and do not stand behind the products. (which by the way are not inexpensive).

The style and color I received was fine, but nothing special. Most importantly, I felt like I was *bothering* the staff by being there. It seemed as though they were overbooked or something, and I just felt like the staff was trying to move things along quickly without the personal attention. I had an appointment. The staff seemed grouchy and rushed, except when it came to people who were clearly their friends who had stopped by to eat food (smelly) and socialize. I did not care for the atmosphere. When I go to a salon, I go to feel like I am being pampered. I did not here.
