My girlfriend and I got a couples massage at Essential while on vacation in Taos. The gentleman who worked on my girlfriend was excellent, relieving some serious neck pain she had been suffering with for a few weeks. I was very happy with my massage as well. Everyone we met during our visit was genuinely friendly and welcoming.

Massage was good but receptionist didn't book my treatments correctly when I called so didn't get what I wanted. Didn't know it wasn't correct until after my treatment was complete. Wish the staff had gone over my expectations prior to starting treatment. Definitely not a spa atmosphere. Facility was clean but didn't feel like a relaxing place. Crystal cocoon was definitely not worth the money.

I have serious and complex back issues. Manuela is a phenomenal massage therapist, she is conscientious, gentle and knows when to add deep pressure to work my twisted muscles. I appreciate quality body work and Manuela's expert touch. The prices are super reasonable and the space is inviting. They also text appointment reminders.

We scheduled our massages last minute since we were visiting from Denver. Not only were they helpful and accommodating, but very reasonably priced. When we arrived for our appointments, we were greeted warmly. We did a couple's massage with Sabrina and Nancy who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The actual massage part was even better. It felt like a mix of reiki and massage, which is exactly what I needed.
We left feeling grounded with a fantastic dinner recommendation. When we visit taos again, we will definitely make a stop here for a massage. Very highly recommended for an accommodating, relaxing, and reasonably priced massage with clearly experienced therapists.
