Monique was knowledgeable, attentive and gave an effective deep tissue massage over lots of problem areas. I even got relief from muscle soreness around a tendon injury! Therapeutic Bliss!

Molly was amazing. I had been suffering from a bulging disc and sciatic pain. Molly was compassionate and capable. My first massage from her provided so much relief I booked a second massage a few days later. Thanks again Molly!

This review is for Shirley. I had a 60min Swedish style massage. She was great and really knew to focus on the right areas on my upper back. The ambience is warm and welcoming. I love the crystal decor! Definitely coming back!

Today was a good day! I believe connections happen for a reason & today was one of those days! I had a 90 minute massage with FRANCINE that was. I am a loss for words to even begin to describe it. Safe to say anytime I am In this area I will be booking another! Grateful! All the staff was super friendly, I'll definitely be going back!

So I don't write reviews very often but I couldn't not leave a review. Jessica gave me an amazing hot stone massage and when a situation that could've been very embarrassing happened both Jessica and Shiela were so professional made me feel so comfortable and really went above and beyond anything I could've ever imagined. Thank you guys five starts all the way. Whenever I'm in Tahoe I'm definitely putting lighthouse spa on my travel plans and you should too. Great energy awesome atmosphere.

Just had the best facial ever here with Olivia! This was a last minute, day of booking and they were able to accommodate me while my two girlfriends got massages. Will be back here soon to get a massage and if I ever need another facial-- it was amazing. Highly recommend Lighthouse Spa in Tahoe City! Their lakefront location doesn't hurt either :

Walked right in and was briskly taken back to get started. Pretty attentive to what I wanted and when I asked for deep tissue, I wasn't met with "death by elbows" but instead got deep pressure where I needed and relaxing pressure elsewhere with heated pads and stretching. Detail is definitely observed here. Left feeling happy and flexible again.

My new husband and I were looking last minute for activities in Tahoe and the idea of a couples' massage came to mind. It would be my husband's first time, so I was nervous as I have only received massages in one 5-star place back home so I knew what to expect. But when there was miraculously availability the next day for a couples' massage here, I had to take it.

We had a male and female masseuse. The experience was incredible and much-needed. They were very attentive to our needs, and my husband was comfortable and so pleased with the experience. I want to specifically mention Molly, my masseuse. She was so intentional and considerate of my needs and the weight of wedding planning and travel I brought into the spa.

She was so kind in her words, too. After the massage, she spent time with me and my husband giving recommendations and names of people to connect with while in Tahoe for more incredible experiences, writing them on a note for "Emily the Beautiful and Bryan ". She even waved out the window as we left to our car. We were both incredibly grateful and touched by her sincerity and joy for us. I hope we can return to Tahoe and experience this again!

JESSICA & BRITNEY are Super professional, super friendly and the best massagers we have ever been with. We booked couple massage, before they start they asked my wife and I if there is any specific area of the body we would like the focus on and they constantly checked with us during the massage. I was so satisfied to the point I even told them every single time we come to Tahoe we will get our super relaxing massage booked with them

Francine is so much more than a massage therapist. I came in with a couple issues, nothing major, hoping for some relief. I was so grateful for her knowledge on not only why I had my issues, but how to prevent them. My foot issue and hand issue felt quick relief from her work. But I also now know how to train them. Anyone who wants to feel better, and learn how to fix issues should ask for Francine.

Had a great massage with Molly here today! She really listened and worked on the areas which I needed focus. Booking online was easy and I loved that they were right on the lake. Parking behind Safeway was easy which can sometimes be an issue in high tourist areas. The energy at the spa was lovely with the open windows and crystals abound! I was able to relax and walk along the lake and grab lunch after my appointment to ease back into reality. Will definitely return the next time I visit the area!

Very disappointed. My daughter and I went for massage. My masseuse was terrific. Kudos and five stars. My daughter's was not vaccinated abad her mask was not on properly upon arrival. I think when you are in a closed room with a personal client, you need to be vaccinated or fully covered with a window open. If you go, please check to be sure you have someone who has been vaccinated for Covid. A masseuse is much like a medical professional and frankly, I think it should be required.

We got a couples massage right before sunset and enjoyed the atmosphere. The therapists were very nice and chatted with us when we wanted to chat and stayed quiet when we were just enjoying the run down. They also gave advice to help with my shoulder injury. Come get a massage after a tiring day at the slopes, you will not regret it!

My girlfriend and I came here for a couples massage after a day of snowboarding. It was THE perfect way to deal with our sore muscles. Our massage therapists Kim and Alyssa were simply amazing. The views from the massage room were gorgeous. The establishment was VERY covid-compliant, which is great. Masks were enforced and hand sanitizer, etc was provided. Probably in the top 5 best massages I've had in my life, and my girlfriend agreed. If you're ever in the area, definitely check this place out.

I got a massage here the other day and it was incredible. With covid-19, the safety procedures are in tact. Everything felt safe, I didn't see anyone besides my therapist and the room was clean. Beyond that Vicky was incredibly kind and sweet and was able to rub out months of pain. I can't wait to come back!

I came here with a group of 7 girls for our bachelorette party. We made the appointment ahead of time and each decided our treatments, the staff was very accommodating and set up a 3 hour block for the 7 of us. We each took turns going in and receiving our selected massages/ facials/ body wraps. I had originally selected an aroma therapy wrap but then changed my mind last minute to receiving a deep tissue massage from hearing how much my friends liked it. Luckily, I was at the end of the block and the staff was able to accommodate my request!

My masseuse was very friendly and asked me what areas I wanted to focus on. This was my first time receiving a professional massage and I definitely want to make time to go back!

I am so disappointed with the service that my boyfriend and I recieve today. I booked a 90 minutes couples massage for boyfriend and I on a special treat for his birthday and requested for a deep tissue massage. Now usually during a deep tissue massage there is some level of discomfort which is great, but we both felt like we were getting more of a rub down.

I asked my lady to add more pressure twice but did not receive the adjustment. Both the women who worked on us were yawning pretty lound during the massage and felt that they were not ready for another 90 minute session as they had just finished a different couple prior to us. The business should definently consider the level of service and energy that there staff gives out because as a customer to request one thing and not recieve the service and leave the door paying almost $400 is very very disappointing! Positives: Friendly staff Very clean facility And we got lots of water after!

Excellent! The spa is small but warm and cozy. You don't feel cramped. It's a casual and relaxing atmosphere. We had a couples massage, 1 hour for $210 which is not bad at all. I've seen some yelpers say you're only massaged for 45 minutes, but that wasn't the case for us! We got our full hour. However, that may be because we got there early?

Our masseuses were professional and sweet. They brought us water. They asked what we needed and liked when we got there, let us undress, came back and worked magic. They frequently checked in to see how we were enjoying it and if we needed more/less pressure. I do just wish there was a shower or something after, since you leave pretty lubed up! I also got a little confused about which location to go to (they have one in the Granlibakken and one of their own). Assume it's their own separate office! But they're always available on the phone to answer questions like that.

We scheduled the Bliss Package for each of us which included a one hour deep tissue massage, facial & sinus massage and a body wrap. Both of our therapists were great. We like pressure and it wasn't too hard or soft. They both knew exactly where we need extra pressure. Highly recommend! When you're driving there, it's past the Safeway. Facing Safeway, on the right, there's a road that leads to their parking lot and plaza.

My friends and I needed a place for a last-minute massage for three people, and they made it happen. Wonderful atmosphere, good music, super-relaxing massage after a couple hard days of skiing.

Julie gave me an incredible deep tissue massage. Relaxing atmosphere, great price ($95 for an hour) and some nice extras like aromatherapy and a hot pack to loosen up the muscles.

With the help of yelp, we found Lighthouse Spa in Tahoe City. We were greeted by a lovely lady named Sally and a peaceful atmosphere. Our massage therapists were Tara and Alyssa. Both are knowledgeable in their craft and a pleasure to meet. Thank you ladies for making our day! We will be back

We got away from the Bay Area for the weekend and decided to get a 90 min couples massage. We really enjoyed this place. The girls were very professional and the space is very clean. I had originally booked this place because of their reviews and for their views from the rooms but I booked the massages too late so we didn't see a view. We will definitely visit again when we are back in the area.

Had the BEST massage by Megan. She did a full body - the foot massage was unreal. The spa is charming and right on the lake. Highly recommend.

We come here every time we're in Tahoe and have never been disappointed. Super professional massage staff, beautiful space, super friendly people. I had a problem with an expired credit card and Sheila could not have been nicer in helping me resolve it. We will definitely be back for more. A+++++

I was wandering around Tahoe City, came across Lighthouse Spa. They were able to schedule me that afternoon for a one hour hot stone massage. The front receptionist was warm, caring, friendly. I returned 90 minutes later and met Julia, who showed me to my room. She was profesional, also friendly and talented. She took care to ask me about any specific concerns, trouble spots and so forth. The hour melted by, well, okay, I melted. Excellent experience.

So, I booked a massage and a facial here for my best friend's birthday. The entire staff is amazing. From booking over the phone, to follow up calls, and even a call warning is about the parade and how it may delay us, they were amazing. When you are looking for the place, let me save you some time: it's behind the Safeway above the gym.

Our massage was 50 minutes with Erica? I believe, and it was amazing. She did a lot of deep tissue work with light stretching, and it was perfect! She definitely can find your knots! My facial was the 60 minute deluxe? with the girl with long blonde hair and super green eyes (I can't remember her name). That facial was also AMAZING. I never fall asleep during spa visits, and I fell asleep.

She is super soft handed, and the product smells great. It is the Dermalogica line that she uses. Either way, my best friend says it was the best facial she's ever had. I only have a couple suggestions: -Offer more types of facials. I would have loved to add a microderm abrasion, or a peel, or something for a little extra. -Hot tea would be nice also, as we are up in the Tahoe mountains. -The waiting room and the entrance are connected pretty closely, and if I was shy, it might make me uncomfortable.

To be honest, it's a small, super hidden place, and they have created a beautiful, relaxing spa with the space they have. This place could easily rake in the customers if they expanded in space and spa options a little.
