Balance Spa

I had Fiona today for the first time! It was my first massage at balance spa and I've never felt so relaxed. Definitely heading back there soon!

This is absolutely the perfect place to go for a girls spa morning because they have so many services available in so many estheticians and massage therapists. I also love they have a private room in the back where you can all meet before and after and probably the best part is the water and snacks as you wait for the other girls to finish!

I have been going to Balance Spa for almost a year. It had been more than 6 years since I had been there. Not sure why I waited so long! Balance Spa is the most amazing spa I have been too. From the greetings and services are top notch! Get yourself there soon! It's definitely a place I will continue to have my services done and refer all my friends & family. 10 stars in my book!

Colleen gave me an amazing massage! She was respectful, caring, and a very relaxing person to be around. Very easy to talk to as well! Highly recommend a massage with Colleen! As for Balance Spa, the whole place was very clean and well decorated. A very calming atmosphere with kind staff!

Sarah at Balance Spa is amazing! She is friendly and professional and does an AMAZING job on whatever service I am having. I always look forward to seeing her as much as I do my scheduled service. She is a true asset to Balance Spa; I highly recommend her! Balance Spa as a whole is excellent, from their front desk staff to how impeccably clean the spa is. Top-notch!

They Called me once and I called back an hour later and they told me my appointment was cancelled bc I didn't pick up to confirm. I reminded them that I was working and can't pick up immediately. Then the lady yelled at me and told me that they were canceling bc I was upset. I told them yes I was upset bc I already confirmed weeks ago and they cancelled bc I did not pick up immediately for an unknown number since I was at work.

Very rude, extremely unprofessional and quite frankly poorly run. Save your money and go elsewhere where they value customer service and are realistic. Ppl have other responsibilities and can't drop everything for a phone call. This Karen who answered clearly doesn't value the customers, their time and other responsibilities. Trust me, there are better places who will hand business like professionals.

I have been going to Balance Spa since they opened in Tewksbury. The service is excellent and the people are even better. The Spa feels like a family as many of the staff have worked there for awhile. I love the relaxation as well as the personal touches the team shares. I always look forward to my Balance experience

I highly recommend the Balance Spa for the staff, professionalism, ambiance, and expertise. I saw Jenna for a Reiki treatment and I left totally relaxed without the back pain I had been plagued by for weeks. Thank you, Jenna and all the Balance Spa staff for being so welcoming, attentive, and flexible.

From the moment you walk in to Balance Spa you feel at ease. My massage by Danielle was the best massage I've had in a longtime. My facial by Jen was amazing as well. Very clean and warm spa. Everyone is so attentive.

I had my first massage in 2 years and was excited to get back to Balance Spa! I had a deep tissue massage with Jenny and she was great! I would highly recommend her and she definitely helped with a lot of my ongoing chronic pain. I am looking forward to going back in a couple months!

I flew to MA to help my dad and hurt my back the day before. I actually got a wheelchair at the airport and had one until I got to NH. When I arrived my left foot had swelled up and continued to swell until I got in to see Sandy. Sandy came highly recommended by one of my dad's caretakers who goes to Sandy as often as she can. Well, Sandy was outstanding!

She listened to my issues and worked on relieving my back pain and lowered the swelling in my foot. She fit me in for second appt. to massage my feet before I flew home and only wish I could have taken her with me! When I get back to MA I am going back! Sandy is a gem and in the right position helping people with her skills. She listened to my concerns, was very knowledgeable with years of experience, and was gentle as needed for the areas that required it.

I left relaxed, feeling better and happier! If you need a massage and not sure where to go or with who to ask for, ask for Sandy. You will be happy you did! Also, the girls at the counter were very sweet and knowledgeable on their products in the lobby.

I have been coming here consistently for massages every month or two since the fall of 2020. All through the pandemic, Balance has been amazing, diligent about safety, and a peaceful, calm, and comfortable part of my self care that I have enjoyed through all the craziness of the everyday world. My massage therapist Jenny is second to none, and has helped me to stay active in my 40s with my regular deep tissue massages. Client for life!

Balance Spa accommodated my last minute appointment for the Best of Balance facial this week with Jenn. It was amazing! Both facial and back massage with hand treatment and hand/foot massage. Jenn was great - providing a relaxing and beneficial treatment. Reminds me to do this more often!

Had THE best massage by Kate! I felt comfortable and relaxed from start to finish. Extremely clean facility, totally going back. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep! I recommend the 90min "lavender dreams massage" which includes a massage, paraffin treatment, reflexology and a lavender foot scrub

Went on an early Saturday morning - Balance Spa was VERY diligent about their covid safe guidelines and it was obvious that they put much time and effort into ensuring their customers had a relaxing but safe experience. I was very impressed. Had a 60 minute massage - Sandy did an amazing job. I will definitely be back!

Great spa environment, great massages by any therapist I've had, wonderful customer service. They are a little more pricey than what I'm used to paying, but if you get one of their 6 pack series, it makes the cost a little more digestible. My only qualm is that if you are in a treatment room near the sink where the therapists wash the stones used in the massage, it can be a bit distracting.

Perhaps they can encourage the therapists to be a bit more gentle/quiet when washing the rocks and not drop them in the sink or toss them on the counter. Otherwise, a great experience all around.

I just went in for my first massage in a long time, (first time here) they were all so sweet when i entered and instantly felt calm, and taken care of. Since it had been a long time since a massage I was a bit nervous. But I was so happy with my massage therapist Jenny, she totally took care of me and explained everything etc. I feel rejuvenated and relaxed. And booked my next massage as i was paying because I know I need this as a constant in my life :) Thanks for helping my back/shoulder & neck pain Jenny!

Came here and sent my friends along w me to pamper ourselves what a day to relax and unwind I had Nathalie for my pumpkin latte facial amazing what a relaxing facial Thank you Natalie! And then finished off with Renee for my Ginger massage I deff feel balanced now thank you Renee thank you ladies for a blissful day of tranquility my 2 other friends loved there's as well a day of Balance is what we needed! My wife and I went for a couple's massage on 9/8 for our anniversary. The experience was amazing from the moment we walked in, until the moment we walked out. The women at the front desk greeted us with the utmost friendliness and escorted us to the waiting area. Emily was my therapist. She took a few moments to explain every detail of the massage, including where I needed the most work and the desired pressure to be applied.

The next 90 minutes were pure bliss. A mix of massage, aromatherapy, and hot stones were used, and by massage end, I was in a complete state of relaxation. My wife had Marcia as her therapist and is already itching to go back to see her, as I am Emily. we were given water and were offered to stay as long as we needed and to enjoy a wide variety of snacks and tea before we left. We will definitely be back and highly recommend them for massage therapy

I have received many different services over the years at Balance, but waxing services with Sarah is amazing! I received facial and bikini waxing religiously for two years with Sarah as well as facial treatments. Then I moved 45 minutes away. I tried someone locally and was so spoiled by Sarah's work, that I had to drive 45 minutes to switch back to seeing Sarah for a handful of months for her to clean up my lines and fix my skin. Sarah is so knowledgeable, professional, and does amazing work. I am lost without Sarah! She is the best in her field!

I've been to Balance many times I've enjoyed it many times always a pleasant experience always wonderful service right from the greeting at the desk right to The treatment rooms where they work their magic I've been seeing Renee for a massage over the years she is amazing I thoroughly enjoy every time I go and I have been seeing Natalie for facials she has magic fingers and absolutely pleasant attitude and she's a charmer I really enjoyed going thanks ladies for keeping me looking good

Very clean, great steam room and amenities, staff are all friendly and massage was better than most. Prices are comparable to others in the area, I definitely will be returning.

Amanda was awesome, she made me feel comfortable and I would definitely come back to see her. I tried an oval shaped style nails for the first time and I can't stop starring at my nails, she did a good job.

I got an eyebrow wax for the first time and was very happy about the result. I highly recommend this spa. The place was very calming with it's relaxing music and dimmed lighting. After the waxing, I was brought into a hall with so many snacks! There was trail mixes, tea, lemon water, and so on. This spa was amazing!

I've been several times to Balance spa and I always have a great experience. I've had massages, facials, got my nails done and enjoyed its beautiful and relaxing amenities. When I got a facial last time I had dark spots on my skin and the technician (Gabby) helped me by indicating the right products to treat my skin at home, showing a lot of knowledge and she indicated products based on my lifestyle and time available to treat my skin at home.

They offer the convenience of having great products for sale at the spa plus I love the fact that they have gift cards because they are always a great gift for men or women. I can not give Balance Spa less than five stars because I love to be treated well and be pampered and that always happens to me when I go there for any kind of treatment. I will keep coming back.

Eh. I have been here several times before and i must say the staff is pleasant and helpful. I have had manicures, pedicures. Facials, massages and eyebrows done here. The last time i went for my pedi.the girl was fantastic personality wise. There were other clients in the room too. One girl was doing a clients nails and she went on to insult asian salons (all) and say that her bf went to one once and she told him he should follow up at a walk in clinic.

I keep my feet very clean and soft but the pedicure involved no under nail cleaning and no foot scrub. The last mani i had she clipped my cuticles down. Barely shaped my natural med length nails and for the next week i had skin peeling around some of the nails. Never have i experienced that before. The facial was fine and it included what was called a mini back rub.

It was skin touching w oil. At the end.she tried to sell me product which i did not buy. For the price of services there i think the only worthy part was the niceness of the staff. Waiting room with faux fireplace was cold and i was not overly impressed for the price. I have been to many reputable places and as much as they are very nice - I found their manicure and pedicures were terrible. Too bad too because many years ago it was much better - now it is just a factory of the "pretty people" doing poor to average work. Wont be going back.

I was going here every 3-4 weeks to get my gel nail polish done but the people I would see would change often. For some reason, no reason anyone could explain to me the gel nailpolish would chip within hours of me getting the manicure. I went in the first time to have it fixed, it was a mess- the woman just fixed the two nails that were chipped the worst and left the rest semi chipped.

It was bizarre. The next time I went I mentioned it and they did not give me a refund but it happened probably two more times before I gave up getting my nails done here. I used to go for a facial every four weeks and they were very pricey- Would usually drop over 230 dollars sometimes up to 300 depending on what I was getting. At the time the person who was doing my facial was great- she no longer works there now.

I always have a pleasant experience when I visit Balance Spa. Amanda is so nice and incredibly knowledgeable at the front desk (and now she does nails!) She has never tried to sell me on a service or product I don't need and is always able to accommodate my appointments, I really appreciate it! I recently got a pedicure from her about 4 weeks ago and for some magical reason it still looks brand new, it's bizarre and now I can't go to anyone else. I've stopped driving all the way into Boston for a good pedicure because she does such a fantastic job.

The spa itself is like a hidden gem, really nice and relaxing vibe inside (5 star snack/tea selection as well). The owner, Nan, clearly cares a lot about providing a luxury spa experience. It seems like they are always improving the space and adding services that sound amazing. I also really appreciate how many product brands they carry. It's so much easier to buy my Dermalogica or Tend Skin from them when I stop in for a treatment versus ordering online and paying a delivery fee.

For waxing services I always book with Angela. She is incredible at brows & bikini, so fast & painless! I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially when they have spa specials - those are a great way to get a taste of the services at an awesome discount.

Balance is a great spa. All the amenities and the chic feeling of a Boston spa, truth be told. However, for being in Tewksbury, I do feel that the prices are a little high. Anyway, the ambiance is great, the rooms are relaxing and the girls make you feel like a queen. The spa has moved their location from further north on Route 38 on Main Street to south on Main Street where the old Post Office used to be. Don't be fooled by the exterior, because once you come inside you will notice how amazing the interior is.

Come for a massage or a facial, but I would stay away from the nail services because you can get something better at another locally owned nail salon. Ask for Kelly for a great massage! :
