I went to Amy post op tummy tuck in quite an emergency situation as my lymphatic system was backing up in my lower belly and causing quite the distended look (obviously not the look i was going for). I was mortified and distraught looking 4 months pregnant! Our first session was very informative as she took the time to teach me about the lymphatic system.
She assured me that we would get the lymphatic system "turned back on" to do its intended purpose and that it would return to its normal state and even better! She worked on my area of concern and within 5 sessions she had me looking flat again! Whew what a relief! It was very helpful that she taught me what to do in between sessions. I can't thank her enough!
I'm glad she is certified and knows what she is doing. Even though my surgeon recommended lymphatic massage i had never heard of it so had my doubts But after seeing the results I now know that post surgical lymphatic massage is the real deal. My only regret is that I didn't go to her sooner! Thanks, Amy!

I have had the most enjoyable experience getting lymphatic massages with Mary Lou. She is very knowledgeable and has explained so much to me about my lymphatic system and even how to do my own massages. She's amazing, great attitude, funny, and make you feel so comfortable. If you haven't tried this place you should book asap!

I have used Douglasville Therapeutic Massage intermittently for more than 15 years. In 2020 I had to take Chemo. Afterwards I experienced insomnia, restlessness, and bone pain(especially in my neck). I went to Douglasville Therapeutic Massage and the neck pain eased. I started going there on a regular basis and now I fall asleep easily and get a full 8 hours of sleep.
Even more my focus has returned and I am no longer experiencing restlessness during the day. Do yourself a favor. Massage has been a lifesaver for me. Mary Lou has that magic touch.

I had liposuction three weeks ago in my hometown. I was visiting Atlanta and needed to get a lymphatic massage due to fluid buildup. I search Google and found Douglasville Therapeutic Massage. I read the reviews. I am so very glad I got it done there. Mary Lou is the Best! She was gentle and I was not in pain. I am very ticklish and she helped me with that during the massage.
She did the whole lymphatic massage BY HAND. YES, by hand. And she helped me drain the fluid I built up. She was very accommodating and informative. I really am glad I chose her practice. If anyone has had liposuction she is person to see!

The entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are educated and relieved of every reason that had you schedule your massage/Lymphatic drainage massage. If you have any aches and pains don't delay making your appointment. If you've had cosmetic surgery of any kind GO! If you need to relax --run don't walk to their office. I vetted several other facilities in the metro area and I'm so happy with my choice. You won't be disappointed
