What motivated owner of Escape Wellness Spa, Stephanie Knight, to become a massage therapist?. She was inspired by her own physical therapist, as she had to go through the process of physical therapy after her shoulder surgery when she was 15 years old. Stephanie waited tables for six years at Applebee's while she was in high school and in college working toward becoming an Occupational Therapist. She put her degree on hold to go to Pensacola School of Massage and ended up falling in love with massage therapy.
At Escape Wellness Spa, we focus on helping you improve the environment that you live in your body, from the inside out. Founder Stephanie Knight launched Escape Wellness Spa in 2007 to deliver not only the best spa treatments in Pensacola, but to help transform lives through therapeutic skincare and massage services.

Received a 90 minute facial from Tasha at Escape today and it was by far the best service I have received anywhere in Pensacola. She addressed all my concerns and provided a relaxing environment. There were multiple times I dozed off because I was so relaxed. The massage I received during the facial service was better than most massage services I have had in the past. I will definitely be back! Thank you Rachel at the front for providing an easy check in/check out process and helping me locate the spa as my gps took me the wrong way lol!

If I could give Escape 100 stars, I would! The people are what makes this day spa so special. I have been seeing Rachel for customized facials for over a year now and my services are always exactly what my troubled skin needs! She is extremely knowledgeable and an absolute joy to talk with. My skin always feels fresh and clean and I've seen dramatic results!
I recently started also seeing Dee for massages and WOW! Hands down the best massage I've ever had! Today we combined massage with a reiki session (my first reiki experience ever) and I'm hooked. It was a surreal experience that I would recommend to everyone!

I booked a deep tissue couples massage with Jen and Rommel. When I got there, Jen was not the one booked to do my massage. I also did not receive a deep tissue massage AT ALL and honestly felt like I was just getting lotion rubbed all over me. When I asked the front desk about my total she told me it was a regular massage and not a deep tissue. I'm not sure who messed up my reservation that did not put me down for a deep tissue or providers I asked for, very unorganized. I was very excited for this experience and was disappointed. Unfortunately, I would not go back.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I got my first ever prenatal massage from Mr. Kerry and it was worth every single penny! He was so respectful of my privacy, keeping my body covered aside from the areas he was working on at the time. He listened to how much pressure I wanted and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I left planning my next visit. I cannot recommend escape or Mr. Kerry enough!

I booked an appointment for a facial and an massage for my daughter and I for her 17th birthday. The ladies who performed our services were awesome and very gentle! I told the massage therapist to work my piriformis muscle and she went to work! She was not to hard with her pressure. It was perfect! My daughter enjoyed her first spa day thanks to these ladies. We will definitely return for more services!
