Irmgard's Salon & Spa

I was a customer of this salon for 10 years. They enforced mask mandates that were not required by the state anymore. I had succombed to having my temperature taken, waiting in the car, etc. for over a year while getting haircuts. I do not think a hairstylist is qualified to take my temperature. My stylist (Nancy) refused to cut my hair in Fall 2021 unless I wore a mask.

I had refused to wear a mask at the previous appt in the summer, as the mandates had already ended. My stylist also had already recovered from covid (in Dec 2020) AND was vaccinated. It is more likely that I could've gotten sick from her than vice versa, but I do not attempt to discriminate. I had a haircut with her about 3 weeks before she was sick with covid, and right after she recovered without knowledge of it.

Even when I acquiesced and was willing to wear a mask (in 2022!) which makes the haircut not come out very well, she refused to book an appointment for me. She gives a great haircut, although she is a bit unimaginative. But I refuse to wear a mask during haircuts for the rest of my life because of her paranoia!

Great experience. Nancy did an excellent job on my aunt's hair. We booked our next appointment before leaving.

I am a regular visitor. In past the stylist did great job but this time it was someone new and she screwed up eyebrows and my hair. I don't think I'll ever visit again. Services: Eyebrow threading, Haircut

For my first time at a salon, it felt welcoming. People were informative and made a point of wanting me to be comfortable with what they were doing and I had the best results I've had after years of hole-in-the-wall barber shops.

Irmgards Salon & Spa is a relaxing & professional place. I just had a wonderful pedicure with foot massage & scrub. The Technician was wonderful! I have also gone there for hair for at least 30 years. I used to have massages there when they offered them & also had brow waxing. If you're looking for a professional Spa/Salon where you can get everything done at the same place, Irmgards is your place! Five stars for every service I've had done!

My husband gave me a gift certificate for Christmas so I decided to use it. I went for a gel manicure and pedicure. Monique was great. She is really friendly. The place is beautiful. Definitely I'll go back. thank you

I've been going to Alyssa for my nails for about 4 years now. She does an amazing job, and my gel mani lasts 3 weeks every time! She also does beautiful art on my nails. She's so creative! The salon is beautiful and I love going there.

I have been going to Alyssa for over 7 years now and there is absolutely no one else in the world that I would trust with my hair. She is by far one of the best stylists in the area and that is not just because she is so talented. It is also because she provides an unmatched service to her clients by listening to them and being attentive to their needs.

She makes you feel right at home as soon as you sit in her chair and has you looking like an absolute bombshell by the time you leave. I would never go to anyone else and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for an amazing new stylist. She is the best - period.

Came in for a pedicure a few times, it is the BEST pedicure I've ever had and I've been to many places. Got my hair done by Alyssa yesterday, she was the BEST hairdresser I've ever been to. She was the first one to not be negative, complain, or hurt me. She deserves a lot of credit. I love this place. I can't wait to go back.

I re-did my review as the owner Lisa did my hair after I was a bit disappointed from a stylist that did not have the same style in mine as me. It has been six weeks and it is still beautiful I am beyond happy. She is amazing. I will post next hair visit. Loving my do.

Been going to Alyssa for 4 years now, and absolutely LOVE HER! Not only is she an amazing stylist, but NAILS are her expertise. Never ever had a bad experience with Alyssa and the compliments on my nails are never ending. I tell her the color I am feeling and she works her magic with the rest. I recent visited this place last saturday. I made a last minute, same day appointment with no problem. I was greeted warmly as soon as I entered. My hair stylist, Alyssa, was very informative and super friendly. The place was busy but super clean and organized. I was offered a drink and someone came around to remove my cup as I finished. My hair came out fabulous and I paid less than expected. Will definitely go back.

I started going to Irmgard's about a year ago and haven't gone anywhere else since. It was a little bit hard to find at first because you have to turn into the parking lot before you actually see the building, but once I got there it was well worth it. Reilly does a FANTASTIC job with my hair everything. I've had it cut, colored & highlighted and love it every time! The prices are very reasonable. The always have snacks, water, tea and candy. I love everything about it!

I have been going to Irmgard's my entire life! Several of the original crew still remain, and still do great work. hair care (the main business), massages, skin treatments, and mani/pedis. The prices are all reasonable for the quality and service you will receive. I never wait more than 10 minutes for an appointment and always feel relaxed when I leave.

The staff members, new and veteran, are skilled and friendly. The atmosphere of the salon, set in an old brick school house, is cozy and charming. The only negative to this place is the parking lot, which is small and oddly configured, but it's a small issue compared against all of the great things going on inside the doors. I would recommend this salon to anyone.

I started going here in April/May for Shellac manicures and have been going pretty regularly every two or three weeks. I have gone a few other places for the same with Groupons/Living Social vouchers now and again, but no place compares. The building is very pretty, and all of the staff is very friendly. I have never gotten any other salon services here but it is a full-service salon, with everything from hair cuts and colors to massages available.

A Shellac manicure is about $27 before tip, which is pretty much average, but I find it is the service and expertise I come back for again and again. I never feel like I am being rushed out like I have felt in other places. I try to schedule with the same person every time (her name is Jill) because I find her work to be top-notch, and we have a really great rapport!

No Shellac manicure I have gotten anywhere else last as long or looks as nice as the ones she does for me. Having said that though, all of the women who work in all areas of the salon are welcoming, friendly, and professional. Definitely comes highly recommended from me!
