Had a fantastic experience here. I was a nervous first timer but Rachel made me feel at ease. The massage was wonderful and I'll definitely be back!

Rachel is the best! She was magically able to treat my herniated disc when I was in pain and my range of motion was nearly zero. I have been a client for MANY years and trust them implicitly. I am a very grateful client.

I knew my psoas tendinitis was coming back and I was about to travel for three weeks. Staff fit me in, worked on me for 45 minutes, and completely alleviated the problem. Deep tissue pressure on the right spot and tensions were relieved. Great work!

Honestly, I cried when I left. It was the worst massage I've ever had. I got a pregnancy massage. It was more pressure points for prolonged time than it was what you think of when you think of a massage. I didn't even realize that's how it was going to go until the massage was half over. Then, I finally spoke up and said I like traditional massage better.

The light was too bright in the room. My head/scalp got no play and my feet and hands got about a minute each. I always get 90 minute massages and I always doze off on the table I'm so relaxed. That didn't happen here. Won't be back. Updated to add that the owner saw my review here and called to offer to make it up to me and apologized profusely. I missed the call (it was a voicemail message) never called back because my baby was a week old. So, I'll never know if they could have done better! But I did update to 2 stars for her attempting to correct the issue. It was just poor timing in my life.

After having my scheduled massage at another massage location cancelled last minute, I found myself desperate for a massage on a Sunday! Albany Massage had an opening so I took it. My appointment was with Travis and I made it very clear that I was looking for high pressure to work out a few of my knots. My experience was a waste of time. Travis, although I am sure is very skilled at yoga and spiritual sessions, was not my idea of a massage therapist.

I left with a hole in my pocket (they are quite pricey) and likely more knots in my back than I arrived with. If you are looking for a light caress, similar to a tickle, you have found the right place. BUT if are looking for deep pressure, spare yourself the disappointment and bypass their wide open schedule.
