Came here for the first time for a one-hour massage with Szerja (ie: Jess Watson). Total came out to $110. What's Hot - Holistic. This is probably one of the more holistic places I've been to. Szerja took several minutes to review my health questionnaire in the beginning. She also did a brief assessment of my body before the massage started, which I thought was helpful, because it provided her the opportunity to get a more holistic view of my body and some of my tension spots.

When the massage was over, she placed heat pads on parts of my back for several minutes to allow the oils soak into my skin to help alleviate any soreness. - Health and safety. During this time of the pandemic, they're taking good precautionary measures. I received a confirmation email explaining the health and safety measures they're taking, such as masseuses and clients wear masks; their staff are regularly tested; they ask if any client does not feel well, that we can cancel; they wash and sanitize their premises and equipment, etc. It's reassuring to see businesses taking appropriate measures, for themselves and clients. Szerja asked that I text her when I arrive in the parking lot, which I did.

She instructed me to come to their unit and sit in the chair outside their office in the hallway, from where she would come out to get me for my massage. It was all methodical, which was helpful to follow, as well. - Time. I definitely received my full 1-hour massage, which was nice. We didn't start exactly on time, but I definitely received the full time I paid for, which I appreciated.

I didn't feel rushed at any time of the massage. I didn't get the impression that Szerja felt rushed in any way, as well. - Location. Pretty easy to find and there is a decent size parking lot. What's Not - Pressure. Szerja relied a lot on herbal oils for the massage. I asked for an 1-hour full body massage. She explained that given my tension spots and her methods, the massage couldn't be a full body massage.

That was disappointing. I was also disappointed with the pressure. She certainly focused on the tension spots of my body, but I needed more pressure in certain locations, which I explained to her. She changed her focus, but it wasn't quite what I needed. - Price. This is the most expensive 1-hour massage I've come across in the area. $110 for 1 hour is pretty pricey.

Some of the tension in my body was alleviated, but the massage wasn't completely what I was expecting nor needed, especially in terms of pressure. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. For my personal preferences for massages, I didn't feel it was great value for money. - Payment method. They take cash, check, and Venmo. They don't take credit card.

I was bummed about them not taking credit card, because that's what I generally use. I was able to set up a Venmo account in time for my session. It was a bit inconvenient for me, so just be aware of this requirement. Final Answer This experience wasn't bad, but it's not my cup of tea. Might be willing to come back, but probably not my first choice.

Jess is a talented and skilled massage therapist. She is sensitive to individual needs and executes her treatment with these needs in mind. She also is a really nice person!

I got an hour massage from Jess today and it was amazing! She asked great questions to help identify where I needed the most focus, and I left feeling very relaxed. I chose Namaste based on Yelp reviews, so I wanted to leave one confirming the hype- definitely worth going, and having a very sweet dog in the waiting room was another plus.

After grading papers for over a week, my shoulders needed a break. Jess went to town with a relaxation massage, and it's just what I needed. Next time: deep tissue. Also, the office from where the work is done is incredibly relaxing. The hour flew by.

I had a foot injury recently and have been using a boot for the past week. I was desperately in need of a massage. I found Namaste on Yelp and took a chance. My experience was wonderful. The place is clean and beautifully furnished. My massage therapist Eileen listened carefully to me explain what my issues were and was able to meet my specific requirements while giving me a relaxing and therapeutic massage. I definitely recommend her her!

Jess is THE BEST massage therapist I have ever experienced. I've tried both deep tissue and hot-stone. The hot stone was an amazing treat after months of freezing winter weather. Jess' deep tissue tissue work is phenomenal. She is the only person who had ever been able to release the knots and locked up feeling between my shoulder blades (I work at a computer all day -slouching too much, I'm sure). She's professional, warm, funny, and incredibly talented. I refer all of my friends to Jess. I may be part of the reason that you definitely need to make an appointment!

Truly the best massage I have ever had! I had tried a few other places in Lexington and none of them even came close to Jessie at Namaste. I'll never go anywhere else!

Jess is the best! Professional, courteous and skilled. Do not want to recommend her since it will be more difficult to get an appointment but she deserves it. She works very hard and truly cares about her clients. Big 5 Stars!

Jess is the best masseuse i have visited anywhere in the world. Bar none. As a small business, she runs a tight operation, always professional, courteous and prompt. I am reluctant to recommend her because getting an appointment will become more challenging. Yet, she deserves 5 stars.

In the past I have been to many massage places over the years and there is no doubt that Namaste Massage is the best. Their place is beautifully furnished and very relaxing. Lots of attention to detail including scents, sounds and overall comfort level. The massage itself is professional and always well done. Thank you!

My husband purchased a $90 gift certificate for me for Mother's Day at this salon which I had never been to before. He booked me an appointment online and had to book quite far out because there were no weekends available for months. I mistakenly missed my appointment and when Jess emailed me she was rude and unreasonable and would not honor my gift certificate.

When I informed her that it is illegal to have an expiration on a gift certificates she rudely acknowledged that they put a date on there that was not enforceable under the law which is misleading to consumers. It has been a while since I have had someone be so flat out rude. I understand that you may have a policy but there is a way to communicate that in a more friendly and understanding way.

I tried out several massage places in Boston and the Lexington area and Namaste Massage is undoubtedly the best. Jess really can read your body and works at whatever level you need. She can do simple relaxation massage or hardcore therapeutic massage. Recently I had a problem with spasms and my SI joint that my chiropractor couldn't resolve until Jess worked deeply and very focused on the problem area.

I went to the chiropractor and the adjustment was super easy. In addition to her technical skills, Jess is a lovely, empathetic woman who works diligently to accommodate her client's schedules. I recommend her wholeheartedly!

Jess is the best massage therapist! She is highly skilled, experienced, strong, caring, and intuitive. Her space is beautiful, immaculate, and restful. I treasure my regular massages - they give me energy and balance and they have become an integral part of caring for myself.

I've searched high and low for a massage therapist who understands the importance of flow while meeting a client's specific muscle relief requirements. When I found Jess, I knew I was in good hands [pun intended]. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of places that feature good therapists who do a good job with deep tissue massages (my massage of choice).

The difference between these therapists and Jess is that she pays close attention to my preferences for which muscle groups to work on, rather than following an inflexible routine throughout the entire massage. I've been going to Jess primarily for over three years now, and have always come away with same result - feeling like jello after she's worked her magic. She's super friendly, laid back, and just goes with the flow. Jess is also extremely understanding and flexible.

I have had to reschedule a few appointments with her and calling her office was the easiest, most direct way to make sure I wasn't conflicting with her scheduling plans. With Namaste Massage, there's no one else I need to tend to my muscles!

This was a tie for the best massage of all time. (The other being at a luxury spa in Charleston, SC). It was absolutely phenomenal. Jess is one of those massage therapists that is in tune with your body and can tell which areas need more or less attention and pressure without any indication from the client. I didn't want to get up from the table! Definitely pricey, but well worth it. I went to Jess because I had a groupon but will definitely go back.

Let me preface what I'm about to say by assuring you that I have had many, many massages in my life with many, many different therapists. I'm not a wide-eyed massage newbie who doesn't know the difference between trigger point and myofascial techniques. And this, ladies and gentlemen, was hands down the best massage I've ever had in my life. Jess is simply amazing.

She honed right in on my problem areas without me even having to point them out or give any kind of detailed description. I just told her my shoulders and neck were very tense from sitting at a computer all day at work, and BAM! She knew right where to hit and how much pressure to use. She also has, for lack of better word, wonderful "flow." A lot of massages are clearly separated into "sections" (back, shoulders, lower back, neck, etc.) and you can clearly tell when the therapist is "moving on" to another section.

Not with Jess! She integrated everything so it was like one seamless movement. By the end of the hour I was a puddle of goo and would been glad to pay the regular $90 price. But I had a BuyWithMe voucher, so I just had to tip on the full amount instead! (Oh, and that voucher? It technically expired 10/19/10 but I couldn't get an appointment booked before the expiration date.

I contacted Jess and she told me that as long as I booked it before 10/19 she would honor the voucher no matter when the appointment was actually scheduled. Super! So I did that ASAP back in October. And it was a good thing I called her because the next available opening she had wasn't until New Year's Eve!)

This is the place to go if you're in pain and need to feel better. I have been suffering from TMJ for years and need to get a massage at least monthly or I suffer from migraines and dizzyness. I've been through a lot of therapists as it is hard to find the right one. Jess makes you feel comfortable through the whole experience. She is such a warm person and she has healing hands.

I have a lot of muscular tension due to a high stress lifestyle and she always releases that for me. The office is very nice too. It is easy to find; right off of 95 and it has plenty of parking. She offers an online appointment finder on the website. The decor is inviting and warm just like Jess! She has a lot of neat art to look at and I always leave so relaxed.

This is the place to go for a great massage from a therapist that not only knows what she's doing but, also cares about you as a person. I've been seeing her for quite awhile now + will continue to as long as I'm in this area.

Jess is the bee's knees. Super laid back, very talented massage therapist. This place is right around the corner from my work and I bought a coupon from BuyWithMe (best one i have purchased so far!). I will definitely go back, and pay full price, for the Relaxation Massage. It was AMAZING. I went in wondering if i would get the quickie treatment since i bought the coupon and i was her final appointment for the day, but the massage lasted over an hour and was superb.

I will second the other reviewer in saying that this isn't a spa-feeling one stop shop kind of place. You are going to see a professional, and the atmosphere matches that fact, with the office building and all. Jess isn't going to offer you a manicure or highlights:) However, the actual therapy room was just as inviting and soothing as any spa I've been to (and I love me some spas!) I am reserving the final star for my update, since it sounds like there might be some consistency issues with other therapists, but for now i am S-O-L-D. and off to bed to enjoy a great post-massage beauty sleep. Goodnight, yelp!

I went back for another (out of this world, amazing) massage a couple months ago, and I was really excited to see that since I'd been there last, they implemented an online appointment system. I was able to see very easily when I could get an appointment with Jess AND be assured that my appointment would be with her and not a different therapist.

Well, I went based on a Yelp recommendation and had a very different experience. In short, it turned out it was for 2 reasons: my massage was with an (undertrained) new assistant, and I was looking for more of a therapeutic massage. My masseuse had a set routine she couldn't vary from--I had to be face down and she would only touch areas she had been trained on. Unfortunately, this didn't include muscles I knew were tight and causing me trouble (psoas in front of hip). Also, a back problem makes it hard for me to lay face down for too long a period, and the masseuse couldn't adapt at all (e.g., by doing things with my on my side or back).

To add a little insult to injury, manner of masseuse was "off"--highly defensive and a little too high-strung to be someone you can relax with. On the positive side, nice music, tastefully decorated office, and for the 15 minutess I staid, I could tell the masseuse did have "good hands" if you were just looking for a full body, relaxing massage and didn't have special needs. Still, unprofessional to want to charge full-rates with someone who was at the level of a trainee at a massage school.
