Helendale Dermatology & Medical

I have been part of the practice for 3 years and identified as a high priority patient due to a stage three melanoma diagnosis. This past week I had an appointment at 10:15 and at 11:05, after no communication from the staff, I went up to secretarial staff and said I was leaving as my time is just as valuable as theirs. The staff was apologetic and I left.

That afternoon I received a phone from an employee who was very apologetic and she made me a appointment for the following week in which I THOUGHT they were doing their best to make it right. The next day, Friday afternoon at 3:00 I received a voicemail from the same employee from the day before stating her name and title saying they were canceling my appointment and referring me somewhere else where I can be better served.

Please note: their office phones turn off at 2:00 on Fridays so of course I couldn't call back to discuss this. And anyone who goes to the dermatologist knows there is a 3-4 month wait to get in! So not only am I asked to not to return, they've canceled a medical appointment I need and will need to wait another 3-4 months to be seen. I am HIGHLY disappointed by their professionalism and arrogance, and will be sharing with all family, friends and on all reviews.

Took months to get in. Wasn't seen by doctor or nurse, don't know persons title. After short treatment a return visit was set up for many months in future. Then when the time came they said the person I was seeing quit and I would have to get an appointment for even farther out, in June instead of the scheduled March appointment. (it would then be about a year since I first went to my doctor about this. Is that acceptable?) In the mean time the condition has gotten much worse and is different than when they first saw it. Said nurse would call to see what could be done about rescheduling an appointment, but no one ever called. Looking for a new place to go.

I called to book an appointment and they told me they don't treat port wine stain birthmarks nor do they have the v beam laser. Their website states that they have this laser and that they treat port wine stains. but they don't. False advertisement!

Do not come here if you have a Real Skin Problem. Got biopsy done and the only thing they told me as "you have an inflammation" as in REALLY? I'm not blind I can see the inflammation. Treatments didn't work. by the 5th visit I just stop wasting my time going here.

I've been going to Helendale Dermatology & Medical Spa for several years. I've been very satisfied with the services I have received. I've noticed the employees are very happy and everyone is very kind. That speaks volumes. It's evident they are in a positive environment.

I just want to say, I enjoy coming to the office at Helendale. Dr. Arthur and her full staff make you feel you are a part of the Helendale family. Dr Arthur is a very honest Dr and caring. My husband, my two sons and their wife's also comes to Helendale. We all get exceptional care.

As always Jen is professional and compassionate. She saw my son without hesitation when I called with a concern due to family history. Her "MA", Holly is also very friendly.

Staff are always friendly, fast, and helpful. Always willing to listen and provide suggestions to problems. Rooms are clean and office is quiet.

This is the best Dermatologist I have ever been to and I have seen many. They are the most thorough doctors. They check every Knick and Kraney. Very knowledgeable and kind. Staff is very easy to work with also.

I have been a patient at Helelndale Dermatology for over ten years. Dr. Arthur has given me excellent care and Stacey my esthetician for the same amount of time. They both keep my skin looking amazing. The atmosphere in the office/Spa is very welcoming. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Arthur and her assistant, Holly provided an excellent experience for me. I was apprehensive and they made me feel comfortable and well taken care of with their knowledge, expertise and friendliness. I highly recommend Helendale.

Dr. Elizabeth Arthur is amazing and a great dermatologist. Both my husband and I see her and we are pleased with the the way she handle our concerns. She goes above and beyond with the information she shares with us.
