Izzy was great, this review has nothing to do with her. I didn't feel as though this was an 'experience'. There is no relaxing waiting area, when I got there it was a rush to complete form, then massage, then waited awhile for the receptionist to come back for me to check out. Felt like it was a bit awkward and no place to chill and wait before or after massage. Not my cup of tea but some people may like this setup.

I had an amazing birthday. I was there from 12:45pm-4pm. I had an amazing 90 massage and a wonderful peppermint scalp treatment from George. He was so professional and talented. Reccomend him to everyone! I also had great and relaxing facial. The whole experience was just what I wanted and needed. Will definitely be back soon!

WASTE OF MONEY! Do not waste money on lashes at this location terrible is an understatement! $225 Will get you a cheap looking set of lashes that looks as if you got a lash strip from the dollar store! I've been getting my lashes done for over 10 years. I have never spent that much and left looking that basic! Don't make my mistake, go find a better spa to spend your hard earned money at!

I have only had one other massage before, but this was so wonderful. My massage therapist was Candace and she was very friendly and put me at ease right away which is saying something because I DO NOT like strangers. I walked in with a headache and when I left it was totally gone. I felt like I was floating. Highly recommend this place especially for anyone with a very physically taxing job like mine.

Kandice is the best massage therapist I've ever seen. I travel to little rock just for her. She is so knowledgeable and skilled in her craft. I always receive a smooth, relaxing, and efficient massage. She really knows what she is doing and how to do it. I highly recommend her! You will not regret it. Kandice is absolutely wonderful!

I had a super positive experience with this spa yesterday. It was easy & quick to schedule a massage. The location was easy to find and lots of close parking. The lobby was clean, neat, and relaxing. I had a 1 hour prenatal massage which was fantastic! My massage therapist was kind and did a good job- Pressure was perfect. Table was comfortable, and temperature of the room was perfect.
She occasionally would place warm towels over areas she has worked on which was super relaxing. There was no awkward conversation. And the prices were awesome! $88/1 hr I feel like is a great deal. I will definitely be going back! (Prenatal pillow in picture allowed me to be "on my stomach" comfortably! #bliss)

Had a great couples massage last weekend! Extremely professional and worth every penny. The masseuses we're attentive, and customized the massages meeting all request! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax. They also do wonders for those with back issues. Will be returning soon!

I have been a client of Ava Bella Day Spa since they opened 13 years ago, and a client of Dee Dee's five years prior to that. I had used other spa's services, but since finding Dee Dee (and her staff) I will not go anywhere else! I have used Ava Bella for facials, microdermabrasion, massage, manicures and pedicures. Everyone on the staff is professional and provides impeccable service. I have also given gift certificates to friends and family and they all had the same opinion as me, the experience was five star!

My husband bought me a birthday gift card for this place. It was for a facial, massage and pedicure. I didn't want to use it as I thought of another place I wanted to go. When they would not reimburse the purchase so I could go elsewhere, I decided to use it today. Was I ever wrong. The massage was the best ever, done by Lisa. Strong hands and sensitive thorough work.
The facial was wonderful and the pedicure by Ms. Ford not sure of first name was absolutely as professional and wonderful as can be. The entire staff knew their business and seemed as though they loved their jobs. I can't say enough positive things about Bella Day Sap. Wait.the name of the place is also great!

I scheduled a couple's massage, and requested a man and a woman (2 different massage therapists). I scheduled my appointment 3 weeks in advance, for a weekend trip for my daughter and I. My appointment was initially scheduled for 11 30am. After scheduling, the spa called back, and said that they'd double booked the couples room, so they needed to move my appointment to 12 00pm.
I obliged and took the later appointment. The day before the appointment, they confirmed that my daughter and I would be there. The day of the appointment, I've only got one full day in town, scheduled full of girl's day activities, before we wake up the next morning and go our separate ways. The spa calls and says that the therapist is sick, so they need to cancel the appointment. I'm thinking 'both therapists are sick?' Not saying it's not possible, but I suspect they overbooked themselves.
I asked if they could recommend another spa. They said no. Almost ruined what was to be one of the highlights of our girls day trip. but the Body Shoppe Spa took us on same day, short notice. I'm ever so grateful!

I received a gift certificate from my husband for a massage and pedicure. I was excited to redeem them after hearing glowing reviews from others who have used Ava Bella. I arrived at my designated appointment time and shortly thereafter my masseuse came to meet me. The massage was wonderful. Page was awesome. After my massage, I was escorted to a waiting room where someone would come collect me for my pedicure.
I don't know the name of the pedicurist as she didn't introduce herself. The pedicure was lacking to say the least. I felt rushed through the entire process and couldn't relax for the constant chatter from the tech. After it was over I was dismayed to find that my feet were in no better shape than when I came in. Honestly, I've had a much better pedi at the mall.
I got the distinct feeling I was keeping someone from a lunch break. This feeling was confirmed when I was practically shoved out the door. No one asked if I enjoyed myself or wished to purchase anything. The door was pulled closed behind me and the closed sign flipped before I was to my car. Would I go back? Possibly for a massage. However I was so put off from the poor customer service that I'm hesitant.

Worst massage I have ever received! The therapist was very nice, but applied the pressure of a feather! I requested a DEEP TISSUE massage and that is what I was charged, but certainly did not receive. I even told her during massage to apply more pressure and the difference was negligible. Do NOT waste your time or money!

I had booked an appointment for a spa pedicure before my baby shower. I had explained to the technician that I had chosen Ava Bella because I wanted to get a nice quiet pedicure without the intense smells of acrylic paint. She assured me all products were good for baby and me. She reminded me that she is a doula and not to worry. As she's saying this she starts pouring a lotion on my feet and says, " I hope you don't mind a bit of acid on your feet".
I said is this safe for pregnancy? Her answer was " it should be" and continued to tell me she wouldn't leave the chemical on long enough to go into my blood stream. Didn't know her product, nail polish lasted 3 days, and my feet were even more rough now than when we started. It was the most non relaxing, stressful pedicure I have ever had.

I think Ava Bella is a nice option for people in the area who don't want to pay a fortune and still want a decent massage. The ambiance is not nearly as posh as some other area spas, but it is clean and pleasant. I've never disliked any services I've received here--and I've had plenty of massages, a facial, and a pedicure. They frequently run specials and stay open late, which is nice for people who work long hours. My favorite therapists are Tyler and Lauren.

I was in town for business and had time to kill, so I decided to get a manicure. This place was near where I was staying and there was a good review on here already. The front staff was very nice and helpful. I made an appointment for after lunch and returned. I ended up getting the spa manicure ($40) which is an acceptable price for me, but i think a bit too much for the area.
The room was small with 2 manicure tables and 2 pedicure chairs squeezed in, but nicely decorated. The whole process was a bit rushed; I jumped a few times with the cuticle trim and the paraffin was still warm and gooey when she tried to peel it off. That left me picking it off in bits later on. The other MAJOR issue was the layers were painted on too soon after one another and there was no lamp to dry them.
There was a ventilation fan built into the table, she had me wave my fingers over that to 'dry' them. She then 'helps' me to the front counter to pay and of course get my first smudge as I hand my wallet to the girl at the counter so she can take my card. (no i did not reach into my purse/pocket for it, i leave it out from the beginning so as to avoid smudges).
Another smudge in the car led me straight to target to get supplies to take the ruined polish off and salvage the job. Before you think it. I wouldn't go back and ask for it to be fixed by someone who did such a poor job in the first place. I had high hopes for this place based on Darren's review. I suppose the other services could be better, but the set up leads me to believe otherwise.
