Best spa place around recommended highly for massages and facials

Was looking in getting back into taking care of my skin since I stayed clear of facials during the pandemic. I knew people who had gone to Serenity to massages so I thought why not give it a try for facials. I saw Bre was recommended by a couple people on yelp so I booked my service with her. Upon walking into the salon the environment was calming, clean and friendly.

My facial was fantastic and also calming. After my facial was complete Bre told me what products and treatments she did. I was able to ask her questions about my skin and what she may recommend going forward. Im so excited for my next visit in a month!

Had a great experience with a deep tissue sports massage. If I remembered the masseuses name I would give him a shout out for an amazing experience.

Pros: It's beautiful and well run. It has a nice spa treatment menu. Everyone is nice and the rooms are clean and private. They are punctual also. Cons: I've been twice. The first time I went for a deep tissue and basically received a firm Swedish massage. It wasn't bad but not deep tissue. So I decided to try again with a different treatment. This time a 30 minute Indian oil head massage with a 30 minute foot massage.

Although it was.nice? I asked repeatedly for a firmer massage. My masseuse was an esthetician first and "started with a lighter touch". I figured I would just wait for the foot massage. I repeated I like my feet rubbed really hard. It was the same light like butterflies. Was it "nice"? Sure. What was the weirdest? She never touched my toes! At all. After the two unimpressive visits and $230 later, I unfortunately won't be going back.

I just had a facial with Bre and it was such an amazing experience! She was super sweet and friendly and gave me the most relaxing facial. I could hardly move after, I was so relaxed. My skin feels a whole lot better and I definitely want to come in again to see her!

I've been here a few times. first time was for an Ayurvedic package that was reallllly good. But that was pre-pandemic. The last 2 times I've gone here (on gift certificates), I was very disappointed. First off, the receptionists literally RUSH you into their waiting room as soon as you walk in the door, (even 20 mins before appt time) and make you sit there while other people are eating their lunch, which is awkward.

It's not a nice zen lounge like the Roseville location has. The service providers seem to have very little experience as well. One gentleman massage therapist was okay, but the facialist didn't do any extractions like I asked her to, and gave me recommendations that were terrible for my skin type, and dried me out really bad. Neither me or my moms skin came out glowing like it usually would after a facial. Then, the next time, my massage was kinda ridiculous.

I asked for deep tissue, but she didn't. I asked her a couple of times, but she just kept shaking my limbs, saying my body responded better to that. Don't waste your $ here, unfortunately.

I love this place. Been going here for over 5 years. I just met a young misuse there name Dominique he is amazing and funny. I can't wait for my next massage. I recommend the Swedish massage if you never had one before. Don't be afraid to tell them what you like. Dominique was perfect. I bought a reflexology massage on my feet but I didn't like it after 10 mins so I asked him to do a regular foot massage and work on my temples. He took perfect direction. They do a ton of different services there.

I was in need of a professional massage and decided to give this place a try due to its many positive Yelp reviews. I made an appointment with Mary. She was very skilled and I was completely satisfied with my massage and will definitely be back. The room was so comfortable with very low lighting and soft relaxing sounds/music. Their fees are on the higher end but I felt it was worth the professionalism. I've been to other salons and was not impressed with the therapists skill level.

They also offer Yoga classes on specific days and has a nice boutique of merchandise to browse around while waiting. The salon decor is beautifully done and I felt so relaxed the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by the receptionist.

I love this place! From their customer service to my massage, it was a great experience. I've been here 3 times and the last 2 times, I saw Jacqueline. She did the stress fix and the pressure was great. I definitely feel much better and she got the spots I needed. I will be returning soon! Thanks Jaqueline!

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, however, their "covid" changes made me reconsider my rating. They're now closed on Sundays & Mondays, knowing most ppl can only go to a spa on weekends, AND they also close super early on weekdays at 6pm, knowing most ppl don't get off work until 4 or 5, so they can't ever book a 1.5 hour or even 1 hour massage!

Especially if they work far away. It's ridiculous. So if you work M-F & don't get off till 4 or 5pm (& don't work right down the street from them), the only time you can come here is Saturdays, but not even then because it's always fully booked! Even if you try to book a week or 2 weeks out, because it's the ONLY time they're really able to accommodate working ppl.

So they have a long waiting list now because NO ONE CAN GET IN WITH THESE TIME FRAMES! It's an awesome place, but they're limiting their customers SO much now, making it practically impossible to book anything unless you book like a month out. I'm now forced to find a new place because I can't ever get in here anymore. I have really bad chronic sciatic & back pain from a spinal surgery, so I can't go an entire month without a massage or else my back will go out & then I can't go to work or even barely walk.

I've also recommended this place to other ppl who can't get in, either. They need to AT LEAST stay open on Sundays or until 7 or 8pm on weekdays. Some of us work full time jobs during the week, & have actual medical reasons for needing to go to a spa, so they need to be more reasonable with their hours. I'm not giving a place 5 stars that I can't even get into anymore.

Looking for a new go-to spa? serenity spa is the one! i am so pleased with my services every. single. time. it never disappoints! the therapists are so kind, accommodating, and have the best energies. i cannot wait for my next service! highly highly recommend!

I started out at the Granite bay location. My first experience here was for the Yoga Teacher Training. I've since been able to get an Indian Head Therapy massage, use the sauna with light therapy and the Vichy shower. Their service is wonderful and so welcoming. I feel at home when I'm here.

This is an overdue post about my second facial here at Serenity Spa Folsom. I'm a guy and I still cant believe what I was missing out on. After my first one I fell asleep 3-4 times, snorting (yeah I know) awake each time. I was determined to stay awake this time. I had coffee beforehand, got plenty of sleep the night before, I was ready! Sat down, answered a few preference questions, focused on the negative energy release from the temples, forehead, neck, and couldn't it believe when I awakened mid process! Thankfully this time no snorting. The feeling of relaxation is out of this world. I love massages and get them regularly but dang the facial is crazy good too! Thank you Serenity Spa! Highly recommended!

I was surprised with this wonderful stress relieving massage! My massage therapist was great. Appts were made and before the massage we Signed some paperwork for allergies and medications then brought to a room to get ready for the massage. The therapist asked where he needed to focus on and then my 90 min massage started. In-between the massage he put some lavender scents for me to smell and it was very calming. I will be back!

I highly recommend recommend this spa. The atmosphere is so gorgeous. Everyone is so friendly and I have never had a bad treatment here. I've tried out many different spas at many different price points and this one STILL ranks best on my list. If you are looking for something different, they offer Ayurvedic treatments here. My favorite is the Abhyanga massage. LOVE it. Zara is the therapist to ask for!

Came here to get couples massages. The experience was amazing. We both got the Swedish massages and I'm pretty sure I snored a couple of times! Oops hehe. Love this place!

Who knew that a upscale Zen spa can be found in the little town of Folsom. I walked in and I am mediately felt relaxed. The staff was so friendly and welcoming welcoming. One of the most amazing spas I've been to. And Ashley was so intuitive and knew exactly what I needed. She had an amazing touch, with the knowledge of working my pressure points. I would highly recommend this to anybody that's traveling through the area or that lives in town.

I can't say enough positive things about this store. For one the employees are so friendly and helpful. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and are happy to be there. Very sweet both of the gals that were there today. The store has an instant calming effect. My daughter is 3 months old and had been crying majorly at sea quest. We left and walked into this store and she was content and smiling the entire time it was pretty neat.

They have so many amazing things in there and when I walked in I saw a display with beautiful rocks and I looked down and there was one that said Grace which is my daughter's name. It was so meant to be and of course came home with me. They had some really cute clothes and yoga pants. It smelled really nice in there and we were offered delicious water with fresh mint and something else in it can't remember.

I really would like to try some of their classes and the spa. There are so many choices to choose from and they all sound amazing and so relaxing. They even offer a free group meditation class. We will definitely be coming back to the store soon there were so many things we wanted to buy!

I regularly go to the free meditations and they are awesome. The full moon meditations (not free but totally worth $17) are something special! They also have free community yoga sometimes. I have never had a spa service here but I've heard they are worth trying. The items they sell in the front are all so nice- it's a good place to get a gift. So happy to live across the street from this place.

My first experience with Serenity Spa was overall pleasurable. I enjoyed the ambiance and background music and the lemon strawberry water was a nice touch. I booked with Serenity as a birthday present for myself. The services I received was the Indian Head Therapy and a 60 Minute Skin Ritual facial. In between each service they provided a chocolate dipped strawberry, which made the transition very delicious. I left Serenity feeling relaxed and squeaky clean. Can't wait to return in the future for another facial.

It's now been a week since I have reached out due to my service and I have not heard from any one from the spa. I have tried my best to communicate my experience. As a first time prenatal client to their facility, I left with more angst and stress. Though their spa is beautiful and spotless. Their front desk lacks tack and therapist lack experience, leaving me feeling quiet frustrated in my lack of relaxation during my visit and completely underwhelmed In the amount of body work I received for a 90 min service. Please reach out to me! My complaint was one that should not go unread, but one I wish to not publish so publicly.

The most amazing spa experience I have had to date. From the staff, to the atmosphere, decor, overall treatment and message. It started off with a warm rose petal foot bath, supplied with my own warm cozy rob and slippers. Then the massage therapist did a consultation of what to expect, made it personal and friendly. She was so helpful with my areas of tension.

The HOT stones were incredible and the essential oils used during the massage was the icing on the cake.well that was until I was brought a chocolate covered strawberry after the massage. Seriously the most relaxing, clean, beautiful spas I have ever been to. The professionalism, technique and quality unmatched. And I need the number of the interior designer, because it's just beyond beautiful. I am basically in love with this place.

I went in for one of the package services that included a facial, massage, foot bath and lunch. It was fantastic. The staff was friendly and the spa was very clean. Lunch was good, too! My aesthetician's name was Romania (I think, can't remember her name or find it on online) and masseuse was Corrine. My face and skin is so revitalized and beautiful after my facial, it was one of the best I've ever gotten done. My massage was also wonderful, Corinne was very mindful and attentive. Definitely would go back again!
