Services
Couples Massage ~ $100.00 per hour ( not offered when Orange or Red Zone restrictions are in place ) *However, we can schedule two people for treatment at the same time. Treatment would take place in separate rooms. One hour equals 50 minutes of hands on treatment. The extra few minutes allows patients time to consult with the treating therapist before and after treatment as needed, undress and redress.

Swedish massage is done with the person covered by a sheet, a technique called "draping". One part of the body uncovered, massaged, and then covered up before moving on to another part of the body.
Most massage techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed; however, you may decide what amount of clothing you prefer to wear for your own comfort. You will be properly draped at all times to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area being worked on will be exposed. Most people feel very relaxed.
Assist with shorter, easier labor for expectant mothers and shorten maternity hospital stays. There is no denying the power of bodywork. Regardless of the adjectives we assign to it; pampering, rejuvenating, therapeutic medical, or the reasons we seek it out; a luxurious treat, stress relief, and/or pain management, massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen.

Had an absolutely terrible time booking an appointment over the phone. Her excuse for being extremely short with me was because people were waiting. Phone call was under 5 minutes and I just wanted to book a prenatal massage. She keep telling me she wanted to put me on a waitlist which wasn't what I wanted. Then she continued to complain about how far back she has to search.
My request was next availabilities and apparently that was a bother for her because it was prenatal. I now know why there's so many bad reviews in regards to the phone receptionist. I suggest doing something online so your customers don't have to belittled in phone scheduling.

The other day was my first (and last) time at Massage Therapeutic Arts. When I walked in, both ladies at the front desk were on the phone and one if them held up their finger signaling me to wait. Not very welcoming. And I was taken into my massage. I had asked for a deep tissue massage and explained all my pain issues to the therapist well it was like he didn't hear me because he did nothing I asked. It was a very light massage, I could barely fmel it. I was very disappointed I will be going e!lsewhere to get a real deep tissue massage!

Ehhh is how I would describe my experience. Not a spa like feel at all. Honestly I barely even got a massage, it was more like just being rubbed with no pressure. Ambiance was not relaxing at all. Felt more like a doctors office. I will say it was a great price but did not even get a full hour. Started late and ended early. Would not recommend.

I had a deep tissue with Shawna, sorry if that's misspelled, this morning and it was fantastic. She listened to everything I had to say in regards to pressure and areas needing extra attention, and her technique was amazing. I don't understand the negative reviews regarding customer service because everyone I interacted with was positive, polite, and professional. Super pleased! Will definitely be returning :

Nice atmosphere but person did not massage my back at all. Very strange. I felt kind of creeped out at one point because it did not seem legitimate as most of the time the masseuse's hands were on me but he wasn't doing anything. Just placing his hands or fingers on me or smoothing over my skin. I paid for an hour and it started ten minutes late and ended five early. It's a good price.for an hour.
I also feel like it's good business practice to inform a female beforehand if your masseuse will be male, so that I can make a choice to proceed when not in front of the person. Elsewhere I've received that courtesy. Not sure if it's a sketchy business, person, or just an off day. All Possibilities! But just be wary. Note that this is the same business as the one on North St.
