Best massage I've ever had! I was a little hesitant to have a male masseuse but Phil was incredible. It was a borderline spiritual experience to work with him and I cannot recommend enough. Would come back here just to work with him!

This is our go to place. I used to work for them in Sf and have to say they are so wonderful to their employees. So you can feel good about not just the person providing your service but the entire staff of just so lovely. I love this place because I can say without a doubt ANYONE you see here will give you the highest quality service be it a massage or facial.

This facility is absolutely gorgeous and relaxing, it has a clean yet warm feel and you feel just completely refreshed when you leave, me and my husband personally are a huge fan of their bidet toilets hahaha, they are great! Take advantage of the steam room and dry sauna. I recommend Sabrina for a massage. She did my prenatal massages and I can't wait to see her again.

Also I highly recommend the IO products such as their natural deodorant and shampoo and conditioner. I use their deodorant every day and it makes me feel like I'm at there! Save yourself some time and just get your massage here! Highly trained and educated, they give continuous education to their therapists so you know they are always up todate and have their skills refreshed.

Really frustrating experience here today. I had a deep tissue massage and facial scheduled today. I am in the midst of chemo and wanted to really treat myself. I made the appointment weeks ago and they have a policy that they can't do deep tissue if you're having chemo ( though I cleared it with my MD and told them that when booking my appointments; scheduling staff said I could decide what type of massage I wanted when I arrived)).

I arrive today and my masseuse tells me she won't do a deep tissue massage only oncology ( I was ok with this, I wanted to escape my head space so didn't care). The massage was pleasant. After my massage, before I even got up from the table, when I most most relaxed, the masseuse tells me that IO won't allow me to have my scheduled facial because I'm getting chemo- what?!

I was just at IO 3 months ago for a facial ( was getting chemo then too and no one said that there was a policy regarding facials and chemotherapy). Today, the manager and masseuse chalked it up to "an over sight" and I'm really irked. I was mad as hell, but didn't want to make a stink, and feel I should have been compensated in some way- either a rain check or discount on today's service, but as I was checking out they offered me dried apricots?!? I'm pretty frustrated ( an understatement) both that such an oversight should occur ( are the front desk staff not properly trained? Is there too much turnover due to COVID?), and equally irritated that what I thought was the best place in Marin for a facial, is dropping the ball in this way!

As a wellness based business, if you disappoint a loyal customer like this, you should at least make an effort to right the wrong. Poor front desk communication, attention to detail and an awful inability to make the customer feel taken care of (especially when a small business, in a time when small businesses may be struggling- they did have to shutter their SF location post lock down)! Not. Ok.

Surprise your better half with a nice soothing massage. This unique space is located on the 2nd floor of this bustling Marin Country Mart. They used to have a location in SF, no more. There's a hot sauna, shower, lockers, and a nice lounge area while you wait for your massage. The waiting area offered refreshing water with lemon and hot tea; however, I didn't see any snacks.

When I asked for some, the front desk brought some dried apricots & dark chocolate. Just a note, on a hot day, the chocolates will melt. There's no hot tub or ice bath; I don't think it can accommodate such amenities. The heated bed is a nice touch. I like the fancy toilets. I highly recommend the 90-minute massage, anything less will have you wanting more. They also offer facials. 'Til we meet again ~ cheers & see you on Yelp (SYOY)!

Went back and had a massage with someone else who was highly recommended and it was fantastic! Much improved. The music in the lounge and treatment room was great this time. Pretty much no noise. Had the whole place practically to myself which was awesome. They probably don't have the space, but if they had some sort of hot tubs/soaking pools it would be a 10/10! Great place to have around and will definitely book again now that I've found my person there.

I got a facial on 10-16-2021 with Danielle. It was amazing! I felt very welcome and it was nice that it wasn't too busy. I enjoyed the sauna and showers after my facial as well. Danielle made the experience very relaxing. She also gave me some recommendations, but it didn't feel like she was just trying to sell me on product. I will definitely be back!

I was a bit nervous at first. Reading some of the most recent reviews I thought I was in for a doozy but I had a gift card so had to try. I was very pleased with my experience. From the moment I walked in everyone was very kind. I had 90 min deep tissue and I sure did need it. Marissa was GREAT! I can't see myself going to anyone else. She's simply amazing.

She felt like a massage doula lol. She even asked permission to touch my hair or if oil was safe near the neckline. Her cultural competency in that was an added plus. The steam sauna and lounge were great too. Everything was very clean and though we were masked up I left feeling great. All I have to say is MY experience was great. I'm so glad I didn't flake bc of other reviews here. Clearly we have some boujee customers or those who aren't familiar with massage services at all. I most definitely will be back.

I used to love this place, but recently the facial services and staff have been absolutely horrible. I expect more from a $200 facial and am so disappointed. The IO experience used to be something really special. Now it's just a huge waste of money. Also the manger Regina was extremely rude to me. This place does not care about the quality of their services or customers anymore, it's a shame. Save your money.

Thought to give this place a try but unfortunately didn't go as planned. Went there for my bday thinking it would be a nice way to end the day. My husband and I went in the evening. The massage itself was ok but I personally didn't feel like it was a full body massage. For my husband unfortunately he came out with a black eye and a headache. Not sure how hard the guy was doing the massage on him but that's to bad. It's been a week and we are still talking about it.

I got my first massage since covid today from Marissa & it was honestly a religious experience. I did a 60 minute deep tissue and Marissa understood what my body needed more than any masseuse I've ever had. My back feels better than it has in years. Everything felt very safe & clean as well. Cannot recommend Marissa or IO enough, it was a much needed reprieve from the dumpster fire that is 2020. Thank you!

Had a great massage performed by Kelly. She really listens to you and also to your body, ensuring you have the best experience. I greatly appreciated her attentiveness. The spa as a whole had great ambiance. The waiting room is minimalistic and comfortable, with tea, lemon water, and dried apricot and dark chocolate available for you to nibble while passing the time.

The locker room was great. You immediately change into a robe and can use the showers and sauna to get even more relaxed after your spa experience. Complimentary razors and shower caps are available, which is great if you're transitioning from the spa to a social outing. Customer service was a positive experience, staff was very pleasant. Will definitely go back. Thanks again, Kelly!

I was highly disappointed with the "ambiance" of this spa for the amount of money I spent on my massage $200! (with tip). I don't know about you, but I go to a spa for the experience; this place did not give me what I was looking for. Everything was stark white and sterile and plain. It was way too hot, I had to ask my masseuse to turn on a fan.

The towel I used after my shower had makeup all over it. The outside deck smelled like a dirty diaper from the bay across the street. There are so many other spas that are far better than this one. Don't waste your money. I will say, my masseuse and the front desk woman were very nice, no problem with the client services.

Came here for a facial and massage the day before my wedding with my bridesmaids and some family. beautiful Deck to watch the boats and my maid of honor brought a delicious spread! We were all insanely relaxed at the rehearsal everyone thought we were on pharmaceuticals! bless that amazing staff! Def coming back with the best memories!

Booked a couples massage recently and it was great. The spa itself is great, and very clean. We will definitely be returning! The only negative would be they don't serve champagne or anything which would be nice to sit with on the deck but everything else was 5 stars. I recommend this spa for a facial or massage.

Minimalistic decor, white everywhere. The bathroom/ locker rooms are small but have a sauna and steam room in them every guest can use. I got a facial and ended up walking out with skin worse than I went in with because they didn't know how to do extractions. After, I went to take a shower and the shower curtain was moldy! For how extremely expensive the services are, they should at least change out the shower curtains.

This place is the absolute BEST! Such a relaxing place to just unwind. The services are great also. I mostly go for eyebrow waxing and deep tissue massages. I get severe migraines, so the focus is usually around my neck and shoulder area. They make it a point to leave extra time at the end to do stretches for the neck and also work on all the pressure point areas that can take away migraine pain. The staff is very accommodating getting you into an appointment as soon as possible if needed. All around an amazing place and experience!

IO gets 5 stars because of their great people! After a terrible experience at the cosmetics store nearby, I entered the spa emotionally wounded. I tend to take poor service personally. At the front desk, the young woman who checked me in went above and beyond when I asked a casual question about ferry tickets. She looked it up for me on her computer, which I could have done myself.

I was lucky enough to get Csilla Erdelyi for my massage. She is wonderfully intuitive and you can feel her kind and powerful, healing energy through out the experience. Csilla has a great grasp of relationships of ailments and body parts and was able to give me great relief from chronic discomfort. She is a huge asset to your organization. I enjoyed the sauna and steam prior to my treatment and the olena tea was a wonderful amenity.

Went for the first time Sunday afternoon. I had 60 minute Swedish massage and the massage was so so. The facility itself was nice and I enjoyed the lounge area quite a bit with water, tea and small snacks. I also enjoyed the steam and dry saunas. I paid $145 for the massage use of the facility and and an additional $29 tip. It was more than I typically pay and not as great as my usual massage. I likely would not return.

IO is receiving a 5-star review because of Braz who is an amazing masseuse. I will definitely be going back because of his outstanding deep tissue massage and use of essential oils. It was very relaxing and the pressure was on point. If the massage were not so great this place would have gotten definite minus points because they misbooked my appointment--booked as a 60 when should have been a 90. Braz made up for it a bit by throwing in an extra 15 minutes.

Also the spa manager gave a discount for next time. I wish they had a steam room. The spa is clean and well stocked. The location is great. I will definitely be going back to visit Braz.
