Omg I loved my experience with Vanessa. She made me feel very comfortable on my first Brazilian wax experience and I will definitely be coming back. I love the ambient and vibe of Terra

I've been getting my nails done for almost 15 years, and these are the best I've ever had! I unfortunately don't remember the name of the girl who did my nails, but she does a lot of polygel nails, and it shows! They are perfect. So, so pretty! I didnt want to pay the extra money to put polish on them, and was disappointed as I figured I would hate them 'naked'.

But she helped me pick out the color of the polygel, nude pink, and I absolutely love them! I shove them in everyones faces to show them off. Thank you, amazing person who I can't remember your name!

I am glad that the Spa paid me what I was told was my credit left by their own employee. They don't agree with me, but it's ok, they paid me the $160.00. My only suggestion is to have a better system that allows both, the client and the spa, to keep track of the services. Thanks

I came in to Terra Spa to get the inch loss body wrap, European facial and massage. Kelly did both the wrap and facial and it was such an amazing experience. She is such a genuine soul and makes the whole process and experience comfortable and enjoyable. I woke up the next morning and my skins was immediately glowing. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

My experience was kind of disappointing. I went to a spa called Terra Spa about 10 or more years ago, but it was located downtown near Breckinridge Park, and for many years, I've always regarded it as the best massage I've ever had (even over the amazing massages I've had in Tahiti and Maui). So thinking this was the same establishment, and that they just moved locations, I decided to call and make an appointment after all those years of reminiscing that great massage I had.

I searched their website for any specials and came across a Valentines Special which was 15% off. I called the Spa to inquire about how the deal worked, since it required me to put a certain amount of money down, and made an appointment for a 60 minute Swedish Massage ($65) and my first ever Microdermabrasion Facial ($85). I spoke with Kelly. Man, is she great at customer service!

They were receiving a bunch of phone calls back to back, while I was booking my appointment with her, and she called me back to make sure all my concerns were addressed, since it was my first Microdermabrasion Facial! I was so touched by that! However. How would you feel if you got to the massage spa and the masseuse asked you, "Are you here for the prenatal massage?" Unfortunately, that's the greeting I received when I arrived.

That same woman happened to be my massage therapist. Her name was Emily. She seemed inexperienced because another lady had to tell her to ask me if I had to use the restroom first before my massage. Then she asked me if I had any problem areas, or areas I'd like her to focus on. It was clear that she had not read my form that I filled online that specifically stated the areas I'd like her to focus on and avoid.

So I told her that although it wasn't an injury, my neck had felt strained and I wanted her to focus on that area and my upper back more. But then she once she started to massage me, it was clear that she was either inexperienced, afraid of hurting me, tired, or trying to kill time. The first 15/20 minutes was not really a massage. She was just gliding her hands across my skin with zero rubbing or pressure.

So I communicated with Emily and told her that she could apply more pressure and reassured her that she wouldn't hurt me. She responding by basically saying she was going to apply more pressure a little later, and that that's just the way she starts. I wish she would have adjusted her method to my needs and requests. She never ended up giving special attention to my neck and upper back.

I thought she would spend more time on them, like I asked, but she didn't. She put the most pressure on my arms, of all places. She did ask if she did a good job working out the knots in my neck at the end, but I didn't want to tell her that it was probably the worst massage I've ever had, and that I wished I could get my money back.

Plus she chitchatted a little too much. I did like how she complimented me on my hair though. However, if I were to book another massage, I would make sure not to get her again. Diane gave me my Microdermabrasion Facial. I thought she did a phenomenal, stellar job! She was super informative, since I had no idea what to expect. She then addressed my concerns, which was hyperpigmentation, and put extra focus on my dark marks.

Then she increased the machine according to my comfort level. It felt so relaxing that I kept dozing off, which was the tranquil experience I had been hoping for. I would definitely go back to her. Without a doubt, she has skills, and I didn't have a communicative disconnect, like I did with Emily. As I drove home, the pregnancy remark really began to chip away at me.

So I called the spa back not to get Emily in trouble, but just to draw awareness to how that made me feel, and to how it could make someone else feel if she were to make the same mistake again. Kelly was so understanding and so kind to me about it. She assured me that I didn't look pregnant, and that Emily just got confused about the schedule.

I REALLY LIKE KELLY! In my opinion, she should run the place! I know she probably has someone else to answer to, and can probably offer dissatisfied customers only so much of a discount, but she offered me 10% off my next appointment. That's nice and all, but, what if I didn't want to come back? Then when I thought about it, that's only $6.50 off my next massage for basically assuming I was pregnant.

I believe Kelly when she said it wasn't done maliciously, but that's a mistake you don't make. That massage should have been free. Overall, the place was fairly clean, I liked the Tuscany decor, and I appreciated that the staff was racially diverse. The sheets were clean and the rooms were private. Emily needs to have more practice, perhaps at a discounted rate. I may go back for a massage, just not with her. I would definitely go back for a facial. Diane was incredible, and Kelly was on another level of excellence.

This people steal from Veterans and Law Enforcement. This place is extremely irresponsible and they stole my money. They owe me $160.00 and are refusing to return the funds. This is how they get you. They offer you a 5 time packet of microdermabrasion at a "military/Law Enforcement packet" and then they deduct more money from the amour you have already paid for.

Their rep for many years, Vanessa (tall slim very nice lady), told me the last time I went that my balance was $237.00. Then I only had one more and my balance should be $160.00. Well the owner does not even respond to my calls, and his representative now is saying that I ran out of money and do not want to honor what Vanessa had told me my balance was.

Their excuse is that she's no longer there and that it does not matter what she said. They do not want to honor my balance and /or return my money. The owner or manager never responded or called me to discuss.

The massage was great. I knew what I was getting into when I got a sports massage. I was sore the rest of the day, but now I feel a 1,000 times more limber.

Kelly did my facial, and it was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely nice, knowledgeable about skin conditions, and very professional. I highly recommend her!

I have been blessed by meeting Renne at Terra Spa. She is the best massage therapist I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. The results are phenomenal and I just can't say enough about her. She has told me about some supplements that have helped me so much as well. I told my cousin about some other supplements who has bone/blood cancer and it has helped his pain when nothing else could.

I got the phone call today that all of his symptoms are gone! Talk about a God send! I recommend Renne to everyone. Not only is she the most intelligent person I know but she is also very nice and professional and I thank God for her every day! The staff is wonderful, the massages are THE best! Call them now, you won't regret it.

We purchased a couples massage for Christmas. we tried to use it and we where told they didn't have enough employees to do a couples massage and that we could do it back to back. or we can wait till they get. another people. like no? thats not a couples massage. so we waited a few weeks and called again. this time they had enough people but told us they can only do morning appointments on the weekends. seeing as we both work the only times we can go are the afternoons. they would not refund us. but told us we can use it on other services. I wanted a massage not a brow lift or anything else. i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Bought a dual package for my daughter and myself. A mother/daughter be pampered day. it was AWESOME! EVERYONE was so nice, friendly and professional. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Terra Spa for anyone wanting to pamper them selves or someone they love.

The review is for a body wrap. Asked for an appointment via web. I heard back from them in four days - I had initially forgotten about the request. I requested a 10 a.m. and was offered an 11 a.m. slot, which I accepted. They requested a CC, which was fine. A form was sent to me via email outlining the COVID precautions and what to expect as well as a form to filled out on my phone.

A day prior to the appointment I was texted asking if it would be ok to come in at 11:30 instead. My opinion is that when a business asks me to change a time - for whatever reason, I am now accommodating THEM, not the other way around. Because, I was looking forward to the wrap so much I said yes instead of rescheduling. When I arrived the door was locked and a sign posted said to wait in my car.

I waited as a previous client left and then received a text saying to come in. Most business greet you and say they're glad we chose them, not here. The lady ( I use pronouns because no one introduced themselves) asked questions about my experiences with wraps and asked if I wanted to be measured. She seemed rushed. There was no one at the front desk, so that might have contributed to her demeanor.

She wasn't rude and we did have quick, superficial chit chat. I was wrapped and set up. She came in a few minutes later with a warming cloth asked if I was ok and was left for an hour. The wrap was ok. It wasn't stellar, I didn't feel lighter or fresher or better. It was ok. I've had wraps where I immediately felt SO much better! That wasn't the case today.

If you want in and out, leave me alone, don't ask me any questions, don't try to sell me anything, kinda place, THIS is the place for you! The establishment is clean and beautiful but i prefer a warmer environment. This place, while clean and beautiful, was simply not inviting because of the lack of personal attention and poor communication and promptness. It's not what I'm looking for in a spa and won't be returning.

Terra spa is hands down the best spa in San Antonio! Vanessa is amazing and one of the most professional estheticians out there! She's certified and has years of experience in her field. I don't trust anyone else with my skin care. Ask for Vanessa you will not be disappointed she's extremely knowledgeable and super sweet! Everyone is really nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I have had a very difficult time getting my 1st nail appt. I got gifted a certificate Jan. of this year. when I called back in Feb. there was no nail tech for some time. Then there was covid. I have called, . left messages, stopped by the spa several times along with going on FB to make an appt. Everything failed. I still have waiting pending appt timea waiting to be confirmed on my phone that have never been confirmed.

Husband stopped by the spa again a couple of days ago and finally was able to get an appt with Gen! (Genevieve)! She was waiting for me when I arrived and did a fantastic job on my nails! I highly recommend her professionalism, wonderful, caring attitude and had me feeling so much better. I definitely give Gen a 5 star review. I was not pleased going in for my appt today but came out feeling a lot better! Thank you Gen!

I read over the reviews before making my first appointment with Terra Spa and, although I read terrible comments, I decided to give them a chance. Bad decision. When I arrived for appointment, their sign still said closed. My appointment was at 9:30, but the sign on the door said they opened at 10. So I waited in my car like they told me so I could have my temp taken, and no one showed up for 30 minutes!

I sat in my car and watched the receptionist drive up, at 9:45, but she walked in with sunglasses on her face, completely ignoring the only customer(me) waiting outside. She walked in and walked out and locked the door back and drove away. I thought she was there to let me in, but left and locked the door back! After she left, I left. I got a call around 10:05, asking if I was still coming for my appt.

I decided to still give them a chance so I went back since I was still in the area. Another bad decision. The massage therapist didn't tell me what to do(although this isn't my first massage) and just left and only gave me probably 70 seconds to get undressed. The session was awful. She talked the whole time and body shamed me the whole time, as well, telling me I shouldn't eat processed foods or give my kids processed food.

She kept asking me if I injured my hip or sprained my ankle and I never have had any injuries. So unprofessional! She spent very little time in my problem areas and kept stopping to carry her conversation. I felt horrible from the constant talking, body shaming, and quality. I will never go again or recommend them to anyone.

Showed up at 6:25 on Sunday. Definitely not open until 8 like the website says. Their door says 7 days 10AM-8PM. Should really fix that so people don't waste their time driving all the way out to the salon for nothing.

I would never recommend a place like this with the service I got. You could totally smell the lady when she walked up that she was in the back smoking a joint. Not a smoke yes a joint. She didn't bother to read my paper I filled out that was still on the counter when we went to pay. Especially when I had a portion of my body on the paper that. I did NOT want touched and yep right for it.

My 13 year old son could have given a better massage then what this lady gave me. The sign in sheet asks what you want to focus on. Yep again clearly showed she didn't read anything because it wasn't touched. It was like they picked someone off the street to come in and work because they were so.

I wanted to love this place, but I do not. My massage therapist offered to stay 30 minutes after close so I could have the 90 minute massage. However, it was an entirely unpleasant experience. First, she talked the entire time. Not at all relaxing. Second, the pressure. She dug so hard into me, I was physically and audibly in pain. I assumed it was the "no pain, no gain" philosophy and that she knew what she was doing and I'd feel relief afterward.

I did feel slightly loosened up, but only for about an hour. The day after, the bruises showed up. I was in pain for the next three days, unable to even sleep or sit on my back. I'm incredibly disappointed, as all the staff seemed incredibly nice and accommodating, establishment was clean, pricing was reasonable. But based purely on the massage experience itself, I cannot recommend going here.

I love this place! Renee is the best and Is my go to for massages. But I took a chance and tried someone else. She asked me why I was there and if there were any problem areas, I told her my shoulders and my neck. Her main focus was the area between my shoulder blades, barely touched my neck. I've had many massages there and not once did anyone. take a break during the massage.

She would stop then start up for a few seconds then stop again. Almost made me wish I was keeping track on the time. I wasn't sure if she was counting those "breaks" as part of my massage. I left there with the same pain in my shoulders and neck, no relief. I'm quiet upset about this but, I do plan on going back but I will stick with Renee. Lesson learned.

Had a manicure and pedicure. Everything was great. Clean and professional. Dawn was very friendly and did an amazing job.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Rude Service! Even after you pay for a deep tissue massage and tip $30 additional. the receptionist DAWN will come and attack you in a vicious kind of way as you leave asking how your gonna take care of the bill! (The already paid bill). and then when she finds it. won't even apologize YIKES! So much for the "relaxing massage" you just paid for! - Never again!

Vanessa was superb! I had the inch loss body wrap and it does wonders for my nerve pain throughout my body. A great side effect is it tightens up fatty areas of my body and I get to look some in my jeans. I highly recommend this spa for the quiet and serene atmosphere. I recommend Vanessa because she is knowledgeable plus she is sweet and kind. Thank you for great customer service!

Initially went here off a gift certificate for a trauma massage. I was been in a car accident a few years ago plus a full-time caregiver for my mom so my body just couldn't heal. I've been to a variety of Massage salons looking for pain relief so I've visited Mega salons with all the bells and whistles, hole in the walls, & mom-and-pop type. This place falls right in the middle and doesn't knock your socks off when you first walk in, but Miss Renee will.

This young lady moved and adjusted things on me that NO ONE has ever done before between numerous massage salons and a handful of chiropractors. And not to offend anyone, but there was no language barrier! She is a wealth, a FULL Encyclopedia set of information & a true gold mine. I walked in riddled with pain but floated out. I selfishly waited to give this review because I didn't want to not be able to get into her because she was so busy, but it would have been an injustice to her and the salon itself.

The entire staff is wonderful and each one has a unique and special skill. I've been 4 times now and broke down and bought the membership. I'll adjust bills somewhere else but this health and wellness is a must-have.

This place is worth every cent and second spent here. I went and had a deep tissue massage and I will definitely be a repeat offender here. I walked out feeling worked over, but that's exactly what I needed. Too often I will go to a masseuse and barely get any sort of work put in on me. If I wanted to have someone just rub the surface level I could have someone do that free of charge.

When I get a massage I really want the tension worked out. That was done and then some, I also had a reflexology massage done as well since I'm pretty hard on my feet. It was exactly what I needed, i walked out and my foot that had previously been giving me issues was nearly completely sorted out. The waiting area is nice and it smells like they are using aromatherapy or scented oils.

The staff is also very kind and personable, they each seem to have a specialty but also know what the other staff specializes in and they don't hesitate to take care of what you're looking for without coming off as trying to oversell you. I spent a decent amount of time in the waiting area and they continued to check back with me and ensure I was taken care of and give me updates on when I would be taken back. I do recommend an appointment and you can make those over the phone. I made a same day appointment and I'll be making another here very soon.

Beware of using a Relax Package gift certificate purchased on Terra Spa's website, you will NOT get the 2 hours of service as advertised. After I realized my experience was less than 2 hours, I called. I was told the inhouse brochures said 1 hr 35 min. When I asked about the discrepancy between the website, where my certificate was purchased, and the inhouse brochure, I was told she knew nothing about the website. And, she would let the Owner know. I've attached a photo taken of Terra Spa's website showing how much time is advertised for the Relax Package. I, personally, see this as a deceptive trade practice/bait and switch. Other than not getting the advertised time, the massage and foot facial were nice.

This is a fantastic place to book your full body massage. Rene always takes the best care of me. She's experienced and knowledgeable. The facility is clean with a friendly staff.

I went into Terra Spa Rolling Oaks for a Swedish massage with a foot exfoliation. I waited just a few minutes before Marian came to greet me. Marianne did a great job loosening up the knots and kinks in my neck/shoulder area. The pressure was just right. The soothing music knocked me out for a few minutes. My throat got a little dry during the session. A complimentary beverage would've topped my visit. Other than that, I would definitely go back and ask for Marian.

So nice of them to call and cancel at 5pm on Friday for my couples massage noon appointment the next day. Reason I was given was not having personal for the couples massage at the time I had scheduled. I was offered a 6pm/sunday reschedule time. Unfortunately I had the day already planned out and would have had to cancel dinner reservations. Not easy to find a couples massage session in such short notice, So That I could have kept my Saturday on line. Celebrating my wife's birthday.

I went ahead and had my wife enjoy her massage, with me waiting and having time to type this review. I will give them another chance to give them the opportunity for a positive review in a month. Everyone deserves a second chance. We will be celebrating my birthday.

Clean, sanitary, one time use and disposable liners used with each pedicure. All implements sterilized, one time use nail buffers, nail files and pumice bar. Different type of pedicures offered.
