The Bodywell

Experience is night and day depending on who you get, and if bought online, or prepaid discount pkg (usually sold after a great first time experience). Similar to other reviews, once money is sunk, you'll likely see shady practice where "the good therapist" is usually unavail or they'll double book and game your time until you settle for others.

I had a great first massage, followed by some of the worst by others.barely any effort or movement. One essentially just held my hand for a good 5 min (I thought she fell asleep). I've had stronger handshakes. This is unethical. If they want to render less service for deals, it should be stated upfront rather than bait and switch.

We booked through Groupon, scheduled a massage for my husband for June 15 because the Groupon was about to expire on June 17. They called us to remind us of our booking and when we got there they said we were booked for June 29. We drove all the way there from the North. Never again. Terrible terrible place. Very unprofessional.

Tommy was great! Before he started he explained what the massage entailed and was extremely thorough with all areas of the body. Definitely a unique massage, with the hair pulling and the butt massage (BW won't do that lol). Very refreshing to have a massage like no other. Thanks Tommy!

The masseuse who was suppose to be there was on off that day and the other one who was giving was sick and she said she cannot continue massage as she is very sick. Instead of rescheduling the appointment they charged me for that service by redeeming the groupon coupon as I left the place. When I went to ask them they said they don't know anything about the coupon.

I went to Bodywell for the first time and the massage was average. I was looking towards better massage which could relax of my body.

I had a 60 minutes massage with Tommy. He did a great job and was very professional. Thank you!

I found a groupon for the 60 min pure relaxation massage, and I was eager to book a session following a week-long road trip for the holidays. My therapist Abigail was fantastic! She knew my pain points, and provided just the right amount of pressure to give me the relief I needed. I will definitely be back!

This review is long overdue! Was able to quickly book a couple's massage last minute for my boyfriend and I -- 120 minutes of pure relaxation! Tommy and Abigail were extremely friendly and created a very comfortable environment. Will be visiting again soon!

Tommy and Abigail knows their stuff. Professionals who was on point finding all the tense spots and areas. Highly recommend. Hard to book and make appointments because they're both really good. After two years ago of discovering them, still the best I've experienced with masseuses, intergrity and professionalism is amazing. All my knots and tension disappeared after the massage. Hope they stay around.

Buyer Beware: You aren't getting a quality massage if you buy on a discount. I didn't get a massage at all and they still kept the money. You are a "low-priority" customer. They rescheduled my appointment twice stating that the better massage therapists don't do deal coupons. I paid 150 bucks! They also refused to give me a refund but tried rescheduling during inconvenient times.

I explained that I bought this for my boyfriend as a present for our anniversary and they wouldn't budge. That is $150 down the drain. The receptionist told me that they don't get the majority of the 150, but that the coupon distributer does. It is non-refundable. It is a great scheme because they just make money without having to sacrifice time or effort, burdening the buyer.

They reschedule to inconvenient times with unpopular or reluctant therapists in hopes that you don't pursue the deal. UPDATE: Amazon is still selling these coupons even though they won't honor them.

My sister n law found this place on Yelp and we wanted to give it a try. We are always looking for a great place for massages. Made an appointment and we arrived 15 minutes earlier then our appointment. Came in and waited for the receptionist for about 5 minutes. Then she came out of another room and had us fill out a 2 page form. Once we were done, my masseuse came out to greet me.

When we got into the room, it was a normal routine, asked questions and see where I needed the focus on. I told her my shoulders and lower back. The disappointing part of my massage was that she kept putting hot towels on me and barely massaged me. Out of the whole hour, she probably worked on me for a total of 25 minutes and that's not what I paid for. I've gotten many massages and this is probably the worst one that I have encountered.

I was probably better off getting the foot massage for $20. Really disappointing. I thought that I was the only one, but my sister n law said that hers was even worst, they started late!

It was my first time here and I found this place from a great deal through Groupon. My masseuse was Leona and she was great with everything. She was great about asking if the pressure was too much, or if the damp towels were too warm. The towels were DEFINITELY the best part as they lessened the knots down from my back. She even showed me some great stretches that I can use in the morning and/or night to help better improve the nasty knots in my upper back.

The ladies at the front desk were both very nice as well. I will definitely let my family and friends know about them for anyone that is looking for a good massage business. Thank you! I would really recommend getting massages at least a few times a year and they can REALLY improve your health and (if you have a good masseuse) will take you into such a relaxing state. :)

I had a Bodywell Google Offer and I called to make a reservation. They gave me an appointment almost two months out and, even at that, only one day and time slow. They didn't seem very interested (in my opinion) in honoring the Google Offer voucher and encouraged me to get a refund directly from the Google Offers team. I am rating them poorly for poor experience and customer service.

Yay, I'm a fan! Went in today to redeem my long-ago-purchased Yelp deal and got a 60 minute massage with AJ. AJ knows what she's doing and worked on my problem areas like a pro. She was very knowledgeable and inquisitive, and definitely attacked the areas that needed attention. I left quite happily feeling like a bowl of jello.; I'm still stingy with the 5 stars - nothing against AJ here, but a 5 star experience has to blow my mind and the thin walls here slip that extra star away. I would happily go back to the Bodywell and get another amazing massage from AJ!

Bodywell is better than Coffee.an hour at The Bodywell is like having a body overhaul. When I think of deep tissue massages I picture a muscular woman w/cankles, named Helga, slapping your back then digging her elbows through your muscle like a knife into soft butter until she reaches bone or you scream UNCLE! As one who doesn't enjoy being tortured, I never considered massages but I knew my knots need some serious attention, so I made my appointment. There's no Helga at the Bodywell, instead Jocelyn appeared and a curious thing happened.

After our session, I felt better than if I had drank an entire pot of coffee. I was suddenly resolving problems that I'd been thinking about all week. My brain was in GO! mode and my body was ready to join a marathon! Forget the Rockstars, Power Bars and 5 Hr drinks, do yourself a favor and get an invigorating massage from the Bodywell! I have been feeling more energized, sleep has been awesome and seriously my brain has been in creative hyper drive.

The Bodywell was exactly what I needed. I had been having neck and shoulder tension for a while and finally have found a therapist that can help me.
