Allyu Spa

I was so excited to escape while visiting this spa. but it my experience each staff member I came across was very unprofessional for such a highly rated spa. I was instructed to wait in the meditation tent after showering so I went to sit down. The space is beautiful, but it is anything but calming. Guests and staff members are constantly walking around the space since there are treatment rooms surrounding the tent.

I could hear people talking out in the lobby. Guests were coming back with water or tea, which I was not offered. Finally after about 45 minutes of waiting, I started to feel like I'd been forgotten so I went out in the lobby to see what the story was. I'm not sure what happened but both ladies seemed confused and exchanged glances. Less than 5 minutes later my salon tech came to get me. Luckily, she gave me an absolutely wonderful pedicure. This just was not the escape I was hoping for.

This is by far the best nail salon and spa I've ever been to. The atmosphere is so serene, the service is impeccable. I had a pedicure and manicure. Pey did an amazing job! Afterwards, I had a facial and Nicole made me glow, literally. My face had never felt so clean. I was relaxed and truly felt pampered. Thank you! Will return again and again!

Exceeded my expectations to say the least! Sandra did my prenatal massage while Jen did my husbands in a couples retreat we did. Hands of an angel I feel completely reset. Their kindness and hospitality just made the experience all that much better. Sandra and Jen even took the time to show my husband some lower back exercises to help me on a daily basis. I couldn't be more thankful!

No matter when you call to make an appointment @ Allyu, they are always so rude. I do not usually like to leave reviews like this, but it's ridiculous if we are starting off rude just to make an appointment; how can this be a relaxing environment.

The couples day package was wonderful! The staff was incredibly friendly and walked us through the entire process. The sauna and showers were clean and the entire atmosphere was perfect. The hour massage was also intense will also relaxing. Exactly what I needed! Afterwards, my muscles were so relaxed. The reflexology is like a foot massage/ pedicure. It was wonderful!

Beautiful location and splendid interiors but massage itself was not worth it. I went for a prenatal massage and my therapist was not very knowledgeable in prenatal techniques. I've been to other prenatal places where I come out relaxed and my muscles at ease but this was not one of those. The front desk staff are very.uninterested, they asked me how my experience was and I gave the same feedback. They had no response and went ahead to charge my credit card and check me out.

I made an appointment for a manicure pedicure and facial for my mom. The place is beautiful. They sell retail products at the front of the establishment like tease, chakra stones, skin care and more. My mom stated that the room she was in was also really nice. The customer service here was great! They assisted me on finding the right chakra stones and help my mom find a skincare routine that works for her. When I go back to Chicago, I want to experience this place for myself! I've been visiting Allyu since late December of 2021 and I enjoy my visits. It is quite a distance from my home, but the service is worth it. Parking is fairly easy and accessible. The spa is clean and has an immediate calming effect on me. I literally walk in and my shoulders drop. I've had one amazing massage and one that was good. The relaxation tent is phenomenal!

I am looking forward to the sauna, which I heard is fantastic. I usually receive my nail services from Denise. She is professional, skilled, and pleasant to chat with. All of their nail technicians seem nice and professional. Overall, I enjoy Allyu Spa. I even joined their membership plan which offers discounts on services.

I love the interior, the cleanliness, the overall relaxing atmosphere and every Masseuse I've met! However I'm only giving 4/5 stars due to the staff in the front. I've had multiple occasions now where the front staff act a little. stuck up? I tried to dismiss it the first time but this is the third time now where I'm left questioning if I did something to be treated this way. Either way- the place is wonderful- just go for the massage and atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.

Back again at Allyu and it didnt disappoint. This time I saw Jackeline for facial (amazing as always) and Virginia for massage + scalp treatment. She was wonderful. Extremely on point for all my tough spots and took the time to tend to each trigger point and work through them. She was knowledgeable and kind. The shower room is a must if you appointment time allows! Will be back again soon.

I saw Dylan for a massage. It was the worst massage I've ever had. I asked her to focus on a specific area, which she completely ignored. She spent the whole time on a different area and neglected to do the actual full body massage, skipping multiple other areas as well. Her hands were freezing and the oil was cold. Nothing was relaxing and the back pain I had was not resolved.

When I spoke to a manager to see if anything could be done, they basically told me too bad. Come back and waste another $120 to try out someone else. I'm sick to my stomach that I spent that much money in that way. If you go to this spa, do not see Dylan. And be warned that if anything doesn't go well, they don't care. They will just take your money anyway.

Expensive but always worth the splurge! I've gotten a facial here and 2 massages with scalp treatment add ons. The scalp massage is sooo worth it in my opinion and it's what keeps me coming back. Such a relaxing vibe as well.

I have visited Allyu for more than ten years and every experience gets better. My 90 minute chakra balancing and facial with CATHY was one of the most transportative, beautiful experiences I've had at any spa in the world. She is perceptive. Kind. An extraordinary healer. I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone who needs peace, grace, calm, clarity. This is a unique spiritual connection. Truly transformational.

We usually only get massages when we travel, so we're excited to have found a spa so close to home. Allyu Spa is such a tranquil and calming space. The service was friendly and very accommodating. I did the body scrub with massage and it was amazing. Perfect way to shed that dry, winter skin! The sauna service add-on was the cherry on top to our experience. Can't wait to go back!

Very cute and clean place. The massage was extremely relaxing and thorough. The meditation room is calming and sets the mood for the massage.

The first time I came here I booked a spa package for my best friend and the service was great. She enjoyed herself. The second time which on Valentine's Day was not a great experience at all. I regret not canceling my appt beforehand. I called and said I was going to be 15 minutes late and they docked time off our massages keep in mind we're paying 240 in total.

I feel like they should definitely have a grace period in effect for how much their services are. The masseuses didn't make me feel comfortable and the massages felt real weird. Once we got to the front they tried to charge my card twice thankfully it got declined the second time. Then my friend tried to ask if the gentlemen who did her massage before was there, and the lady at the front desk was giving her attitude for asking.

She then dismissed us and said "You guys can leave you know that right" because I'm a firm believer in tipping for services I tipped her 20.00 but I should've kept it especially after she said that. Next time I'll just find a massage place in my area. The 1.5 hr drive was not worth it at all. Never again. Looks are deceiving, and it's definitely overpriced.

Lovely experience. My massage therapist Sarah was wonderful. The body scrub and facial comes with a nice shower, wrapped in their luxurious bathrobes. Nice touches like a heated massage table. Will be back!

This spa is very clean! The front desk employees were nice and explained the process. I had a massage and it was very good and the room was relaxing. The other procedures were a customized facial and eyelash tint. The eyelash tint did burn a little bit so I wouldn't get that again. The tent is neat but the seats were not comfortable for how nice they have it set up. I would go again and try other services.

I booked a last minute facial this past weekend and I am so happy I did. Experience, beginning to end, was fantastic. The facial was relaxing and my face felt and looked clean. Highly recommend.

I am 20 weeks pregnant and went to Allyu for a prenatal massage. The customer service was the WORST I have ever experienced. The spa works with a parking garage across the street which had a malfunction that caused me to to be 10 minutes late. I promptly called the spa and let them know that I could not be there on time. My massage was cut 20 minutes short.

When I spoke to a "manager" Brigitte, she effectively told me that it doesn't matter if their clients get into a car accident, they expect them to be on time. I would never recommend this place.

I bought a gift card for my mom based on the great reviews and we had a great experience! The facial with Hayley was amazing and the atmosphere was very relaxing! The only thing we did not like was the fact that, the employees at the front desk constantly brought up gratuity before and after our services. I understand gratuity is important but, because prices are already high at this spa, I feel it is more appropriate to mention it once after the services.

Allyu Spa is more than wonderful! The ambiance is relaxing and healing and the services are excellent. I highly recommend going there and experiencing all of the treatments that are offered.

I truly needed some pampering during my recent vacation trip to Chicago. My experience here was superb! I chose a Neem wrap treatment which was a great way to treat pre-Winter skin. What is also a must is the before and after time in the meditation area, where I felt like I had left my normal hectic life to remember my soul! The staff is amazing too

I came to Allyu spa to treat myself to celebrate a special occasion and it was a great experience overall! If you order 3 services totaling $300 or more, you can create a "personal spa day" and they will give you a 10% discount on the total cost (and also automatically add on a 20% gratuity). The decor is well done and really helps to create a relaxing ambiance.

Just as a reminder, it is a good idea to check in 15 minutes prior to your appointment time so that your services will start on time. Of the services that I've tried, I really recommend the massage services at this place, which are some of the best I've ever had! I would probably skip on the manicure, pedicure, and facial services next time as I thought those were more standard.

But definitely check this place out for their massages! Also, as a pro tip, you can book a free 20 minute rain shower complimentary as part of your services but you just have to remember to ask for it when you call in for your booking.

Such a lovely experience! The environment is so relaxing, the staff is professional, and the facial and massage were both so calming. Everything from the warmed beds to the natural products used. The meditation tent and ambient music also added to the zen atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

I received a gift card for Allyu after passing my board exams. I had a facial, massage, gel manicure and regular pedicure. The facial and massage were incredible. So relaxing, and all of the products they used smell amazing. The service was excellent. The manicure and pedicure were not great. The manicure lasted 4 days before it started chipping, and there was hard polish left in the crease of my nail.

Another nail "smudged" the day after, which I didn't even know was possible with gel polish. For the pedicure, the polish was too close to the cuticle and some grains from the scrub were not rubbed off and ended up under the polish. I would definitely come back for other services but would pass on nail services.

Start to finish an amazing experience. Did a full spa day and it was great. Everything from the sauna through the massage to the facial was great. Definitely a pricey location so be aware of that, but the experience was great.

I recently went here for a facial. I'm a huge fan of their massages and love how sweet all the staff is. They never disappoint in creating a calm atmosphere. The person doing my facial was very gentle with my skin and pretty awesome all in all. I gave this 3/4 stars because it was to be an hour long and she was done with almost 15 minutes to spare.

I was disappointed in this because I could have had extra massage time on the face and neck. I noticed too late, once I was already on my car. Regarding the facial itself, very good and relaxing.

Visited here for the first time during Covid and luckily made appointments about a month in advance for myself and my friend. Parking was right across the street in the parking garage easy to find and locate as well as to exit and get into the actual spa building. Pricing isn't so bad either even if you go over the validation hours. I have no photos to upload for this visit as cameras and cell phone usage are highly discouraged which I completely understand.

Between my friend and I we had a variety of services from manicure pedicure reflexology massage sauna facials and chakra balancing. The ambience of this place is awesome considering that it is in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff is completely friendly very helpful and super kind. The services are quite unique they offer some customization which is great as well and the pricing is highly competitive considering all the spa options in the neighboring towns as well as within its city vicinity.

I would definitely come back again as this was an incredible experience super clean I felt safe despite the Covid environment and this was a great way to spend half the day or up to 4 1/2 hours here.
