Acupuncture is the insertion of tiny hair thin needles into the body at specific locations. Acupuncture has been proven to be successful in the treatment and prevention of many medical conditions. Acupuncture encourages the body to heal naturally by easing physical pain, emotional stress and increasing overall health and well-being. Acupuncture is a safe way to promote good health with no negative side effects.

Therapeutic massage while still very relaxing and rejuvenating focuses on releasing tension held within the body. The most common areas of pain are neck, shoulders and low back. Tension can be from overuse, old injuries or day to day stress. We believe that massage is not only for luxury but a necessity in keeping the body healthy and pain free.

Chinese herbs are often used in conjunction with acupuncture for added therapeutic effect. While many cultures have herbal medicine traditions, the sophistication of Chinese herbal medicine is unsurpassed. Chinese herbal medicine has a long history reaching back several thousand years, and the resulting system is now used to treat everything from the common cold to certain types of cancer.

Elizabeth received her Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego. She received a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts. She is a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in the state of Vermont as well as board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
