A Powerful Ally
There's no denying the power of bodywork. Regardless of the adjectives we give to it (pampering, rejuvenating, therapeutic) or the reasons we seek it out (a luxurious treat, stress relief, pain management), massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen.

Experts estimate that more than ninety percent of disease is stress related. And perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. While taking away anxiety and pressure altogether in this fast-paced world may be idealistic, massage can, without a doubt, help manage stress. This translates into:
Decreased anxiety.
Iprove sleep quality.
Greater energy.
Better concentration.
Increased circulation.
Reduced fatigue.
Furthermore, customers often report a sense of perspective and clarity after getting a massage. The emotional balance bodywork offers can often be just as vital and valuable as the more tangible physical benefits.

Profound Effects
In response to massage, specific physiological and chemical improvements cascade throughout the body, with profound effects. Research shows that with massage:
Arthritis sufferers note fewer pains and less stiffness and pain.
Asthmatic children show improved pulmonary function and increased peak air flow.
Burn injury patients report reduced pain, itching, and anxiety.
High blood pressure patients demonstrate lower diastolic blood pressure, anxiety, and stress hormones.
Premenstrual syndrome sufferers have lower water retention and cramping.
Preterm infants have improved weight gain.
Research continues to show the enormous positive effects of touch which include treating chronic diseases, neurological disorders, and injuries, alleviating the tensions of modern lifestyles. Consequently, the medical society is actively embracing bodywork, and massage is becoming an integral part of hospice care and neonatal intensive care units. Many hospitals are also incorporating on-site massage practitioners and even spas to treat postsurgery or pain patients as part of the recovery process.

This was my first time having an in-home massage and Jessica made me feel very comfortable. She was very professional as well as personable. The massage was fantastic! Jessica even left me with a handwritten card thanking me for my business. Who does that!? WOW! I will definitely see Jessica again.

Wish there were 10 stars - 'cause that's how good Jessica is. I began seeing her a year ago for follow-on back therapy and will continue to see her. Whatever the issue, she knows how to treat the condition. Bottom line - Jessica is pure magic!

I have been seeing Jessica for regular sports/deep tissue massage for over 2yrs. She is excellent! She cares about her clients, listens to their feedback and uses her extensive knowledge to help- very important especially as a long distance runner with various aches/pains. I've attended other massage clinics, chains and even independent practitioners. Jessica, Marian and Courtney are all the best by far!

Just got a massage here by Jessica and I can say it was absolutely wonderful! I initially went in due to tension in my shoulders from stress and she worked out every kink in my whole body. From my toes all the way to my earlobes. Yes she massaged my earlobes! By the end of it, I was so relaxed that I didn't want to move. The pressure was great, she wasn't too chatty, and I was able to relax and truly enjoy my massage. Jessica has miracle hands and I will definitely be back!

What a fantastic massage! She does very good work and I feel she really listens to the client. Sometimes when you get a massage and tell them where you are hurting they just do not seem to listen. I have had many massages in my ilfe and this was by far one of the best!
