I love this place, I used to go here since they opened, and since I'm their regular guest. I said goodbye to ingrown hairs, irritated and red skin, and painful appointments. The wax is natural and high quality, the girls are friendly and they know what they are doing. Absolutely the best Brazilian wax spot in Manhattan - delighted with the result each time!

These ladies are awesome! From the professionalism and fast responses when booking to how comfortable they always make me feel when i go for waxing. I've gone 4 different time and seen 4 different aestheticians and they're all great! Do yourselves a favor and book your next appointment there, you'll be glad you did! Thanks ladies!

This spa was nice enough to accommodate me at the last minute on a Saturday. I was in need of a facial. As others have posted this spa is spotless and has an inviting aroma. The room where mug facial was, was serene warm and comfortable. The facial lasted over an hour and my skin was soft as a baby's bottom after. I will be back!

Everytime I come here there's other men getting waxing/spa services which is nice. I feel like this is one of the only establishments that actively market to men and it works. I like coming here, I don't feel awkward or weird and the women working here are great at making you feel at ease.

Dyanna is my go to waxing spot in the city. The women who work there are all so lovely and they always do a quick and excellent job. In a world of chain stores for everything, I love a place where the staff and the salon feel more like a community.

I recently had microneedling done along with a facial and it was an incredible experience - ask for technician Lora she does an amazing job!

I didn't have a great experience at Dyanna for a Brazilian, unfortunately. The website says you'll be given a consultation for determining the best wax for your type of skin, but this wasnt offered. I had to ask a few times to clarify that they did waxing for sensitive skin. The aesthetician also came and went from the room a few times during the wax, and my legs were open towards the doorway.

She did her best to close the door quickly after her, but it was pretty uncomfortable, and I wish I'd had a towel or something to cover while the door was open. They also don't do any plucking after the wax, which is usually standard, and they didn't clean off the leftover wax. The aesthetician said I could help myself to some oil if I "felt sticky" - which, of course I did.

I was still covered in wax. Then they said the first-time client deal ($25 for a Brazilian) didn't apply to the sensitive skin wax, which the aesthetician didn't warn me about. They said it's stated "clearly" on the website, but what it says is "Dyanna's Spa is so exited to welcome our first time clients with a $25 Brazilian wax (based on women's regular priced azulene wax formula)".

It seems like you'd have to know what the "azulene formula" is to infer that the deal doesn't apply to other types of wax, which just wasn't clear to me. She did offer me 10% if I signed up to their mailing list. Generally the front desk was impatient and unwelcoming, and the wax was only so-so. You can get way better elsewhere for $65.

They offer compassionate electrolysis with skilled technicians at a reasonable price point. It is easy to schedule an appointment. I will defenitely be back. Hidden gem. Can't vouch for other services, - but electrolysis there is great. Tip, - you can find 10% Lido numbing cream on international webistes online. Use that to apply 30 mins on most sensitive parts, before your session. Also, applying Elflora cream day of after your service and several days after makes a big difference in reducing that unwatned hair.

My manicure lasted 3 weeks! The ladies here are personable and the space is clean and calming. Will be back again

Had a jelly pedicure here and the lady who took care of me was so kind! I really appreciate how friendly she was. The salon is spacious and clean, and the chairs for the pedicure area were quite comfortable and wide. There was enough room for us to put our belongings (backpack and large tote bag). The nail polish selection is also pretty extensive!

I definitely recommend the jelly pedicure--it's a very interesting texture. You spend about 10-15 minutes soaking your feet in the jelly, and ours had a lavender aroma. They then add a powder that dissolves the jelly into liquid! Then, you'll go through the traditional things to expect in a pedicure (filing, cutting, removing dead skin, cuticle oil).

They then will give you a light calf and foot massage with lotion and begin painting your nails. I really liked what they put on the heels of my feet to soften them. Afterwards, you're led to a small room with fans to dry and voila! You're done.

Worst pedicure I have ever had. She rushed the whole time and while rushing she cut my toe. Will never go back. The front desk lady was extremely rude when I explained to her what happened.

I couldn't even schedule an appointment the front desk was so rude. They were very nasty I wouldn't pay a dime for their service. They replied and lied Wow! I find out nasty attitudes and like precede you.see other low rate reviews. Stop blaming others for your bad attitudes and finally be accountable judging from other reviews I'm not wrong.

Had a great waxing session there. The staff were professional and polite. I showed up a little early, and they took me right in. I appreciated not having to sit in a waiting area. My aesthetician was talkative and definitely patient with me. I chose to have a full leg, full arm, and Brazilian. Lots of wax, but she powered through. I was impressed with her efficiency as well.

With quite a lot of surface area to cover, we were still done in 90 minutes. It was also my first Brazilian in quite awhile, so she was very conscientious about my pain tolerance levels and checked in frequently. All good!

Thank you Laura for waxing my daughter's eyebrows and upper lip. The job was perfect. She's charming, just the right amount of friendly and very quick! In this particular situation quick is just the ticket. They have online appointments which makes scheduling so much easier!

I didn't know Brazilian waxing was relaxing lol! Well, it's not really relaxing but close enough. I forgot name of the lady I had but she was amazing. It didn't hurt at all and she made me feel comfortable. I've been going to other places for years and this was one of the best waxing experiences ever! The service only took about 10 minutes, and I'm very happy with the results. I would definitely be going back to her. She's great at what she does.

Great eyebrow shaping Salon in Manhattan, I was looking for a new place to have my eyebrows waxed and shaped, I found Dyanna's. They provide great customer service and clean areas especially during COVID-19. Tanya is highly recommended, she takes her time and has a clean precision with your brows, great attitude as well.

My boyfriend gifted me a spa package and it was great! I had a massage and deep pore cleansing facial, and spa mani/pedi. Both my therapist and technician were very professional, kind and did a thorough job. I left very relaxed and revitalized. I have been going to this nail salon/spa for over 10+ years when I used to work near by. I highly recommend if you want excellent work. It's not overpriced like most venues in NYC.

I went in to get hair removal today by Laura and she is the best! I feel so comfortable with her every time and love the results! If you have never had professional hair removal services before or are looking for a new spot to get it done, I highly recommend Dyanna Spa. The result is smooth silky skin.

Easy to book an appointment, clean location, somewhat friendly staff and good hours. However, the check out receptionist doesn't greet upon entry. I have to speak first. After the appointment(s) the check-in receptionist is VERY pushing about leaving a tip. She pushes an envelope toward you multiple times during payment. Turn off.

This place is over priced for the low quality services rendered. I got a Shellac mani and pedi my total was over $90. I constantly had to ask the technician to fill in the sides of my nails to the point I just wanted the experience to be over. My nails look lumpy and sloppy plus ever since I went there the skin around my nails is peeling.

I totally recommend this spa, the atmosphere is elegant, relaxing, and rewarding when it comes to the quality service you will receive overall. I had a brazilian wax, and it was wonderful. I walked out feeling like a brand new woman lol, the staff are very friendly, customer service was beyond delightful, I felt welcomed. They follow the safety guidelines as well.

I even had a pleasure in meeting with the owner shes very pleasant. We had a lovely conversation, I even had a pleasure in sharing my new business adventures with her, and I must say she gave me some great advise, just off of my experience in speaking with her. Thank you my Mona Lisa. I have nothing bad to say about this Spa at all the services I received was incredible and the prices are reasonably affordable.

I was gifted a spa package at this place for Valentine's Day (biggest mistake ever). This place is not a spa it is a nail salon. I was gifted the absolutely fabulous spa package. The massage was by far the roughest most painful experience I've encountered. I might as well have been run over by a bull dozer. She beat the pulp out of me. My pedicure was the most painful bloody event i experienced.

The lady decided to remove my gel pedicure shaved off my pedicure with a nail file and shaved off my skin while at it. I will admit the manicure lady was the most pleasant of them all and I thought my torture would be gone. BUT I was wrong. The lady in charge of my facial basically attacked my face squeezing for dear life with a metal object. She poked at my face so hard I had a bruise on my cheek.

She would pinch me with a metal sharp object and slap my face. Long story short today Tuesday 2/18/20 I went to an urgent care to take antibiotics for the infection I have on my toe. When we call the place to complain the receptionist stated the lady doing my massage has been doing this for 10 yrs and I just had a simple cut. She offered I email her and discuss what I didn't like but I REFUSE to step in that place no matter what they would offer me.

Don't waste your money or time. I'm down $60. Three days later, broken and chipped shellac. They don't soak off properly, they just dunk ur fingers in a bowl of acetone and then file/scrape the shellac off since soaking them this way is ineffective. The owner will probably reply with "we have been in service for 35 years and if you called we would have fixed them" like she does other reviewers. no thanks, I've already wasted enough time and money there.

I was pretty disappointed with my powder dip manicure here. I was able to communicate via email to make an appointment, which was convenient, but I should have been wary when I arrived and there were only a few powder colors to choose from. The manicure took almost two hours (I didn't have anything on my nails that needed to be taken off) and when it was done it was completely uneven and bumpy.

The powder was so thick and uneven on my nails, it looked terrible. The manicurist was also rough with my hands. I do bite my nails, so they are a bit sensitive, but I bled several times from the rough filing and buffing, something that hasn't happened to me at other places. While the woman doing my nails was nice, the rest of the employees in the salon seemed very rude. I do not recommend.

Came here w a Spa World gift card & got the spa pedicure with 10 minutes & gel manicure. Viviana was excellent and I am so glad I was paired with her. This place is very clean & it's very nice inside. Viviana was great and if I come back - definitely requesting her.

Brought my fiance with me for a business trip in the city a few weeks ago, and brought her to Dyanna's spa. I knew I'd be tied up for a few hours and wanted her to enjoy the time and this spa did exactly that. They were able to fit us in the schedule fairly and the prices were very fair for the city. The service was excellent and will be sure to use on future trips.

The worst customer experience, the technician had no regard for my comfort, slabbing hot wax over my intimate area and pulling with unannounced aggressive force. It felt as if she was taking her anger out on me with every unannounced fast aggressive pull. She turned an already painful experience into an excessive act of aggression with hints of homophobia.

The staff was judgmental and aggressive. Not a great place to be in such a vulnerable position. To make matters worse, when I went to pay at reception, the person there asked me "how much I wanted to tip." Having worked in service I am a generous tipper however this was the first time in my life I had wanted to leave nothing but this review. I hope no one else has to experience this terrible place.

I did this shallc aka gel manicure Iast Saturday and now today I noticed my polish was coming off. I cleaned my house on Friday before the day I got them done. I saw in the website saying that the shallc manicure last up to 21 Days. I feel like a fool for wasting my good amount of money on my spa finder gift card. And speaking of gift card, why would the owner keep it instead of giving it back to me? Who keeps a gift card that u wanna use and doesn't get it back? I believe that place has stole it from me which is ABSOLUTELY wrong.

Whenever I travel to New York for work, I always treat myself to Dyanna Body & Nail Spa for manicures and pedicures. They have $30 specials (monday -wed). You can't beat that price. I've also had their brazilian wax and I had an amazing experience. Not sure about the negative remarks below because there was no double dipping and the wax was the same temperature I've always had it done at. I will keep coming back every time I'm here. Great place!

My wife got me a gift certificate for a massage and facial at Dyanna Spa, which I redeemed last week when I was in New York on business. My wife comes here frequently when she meets her friends in Manhattan, and says their waxing services and hair removal is the best around. I have gotten spa services in the past, but am picky about the places I visit because I don't want to feel awkward being a man visiting a spa.

Right off the bat, the great staff made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I had a facial first with a knowledgeable and friendly aesthetician who made me feel and look 5 years younger! Then an hour massage, I must say both services were amazing. The massage was particularly awesome, I'd even go so far as to say the best I've ever had. Left feeling like a million bucks, and will definitely return to take advantage of their weekday spa specials!

All day my friend and I were planning on getting our gel manicures renewed after work, but when our normal place was overbooked we found Dyanna Day Spa. I'm so glad we did since I had Mila, who is the nicest Ukrainian lady. She coached me through my color indecisiveness with a giant smile and not one judgmental glance. The color is gorgeous and I felt right at home. I'll definitely be back and will be sure to make an appointment to have Mila again!

My wife really loves coming here because of the friendly staff and because they have the best shaping she has ever had and so much attention to detail
