Carolina gave me an incredible lomi lomi massage! Her technique, combined with the sounds of the ocean and the refreshing breeze, made this my favorite massage ever.

I booked this massage for my wife's birthday. From the outside it does not look like a typical spa, but my wife absolutely loved the massage and facial. The sound of the ocean and the breeze made for the exact tropical experience she was looking for. She said it was the best massage she has ever had.

We booked online for a couples massage with Tina and Amy! The room was open air to the ocean and we could hear the ocean waves and palms blowing in the breeze. This was the start of of 90 minutes of bliss! Amy worked out knots and put my muscles in a very relaxed and released state. I'm preparing for a marathon this coming week so this massage was a key part of my training! Tina worked with my hubby and included the bars over the bed to reach deeper into his sore muscles using techniques of deep tissue massage. It really was one of the best massages we've both experienced. Don't look any further, just book the massage and you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I booked the 90 minute couples finest massage. It was our first massage for both of us. It was AMAZING. You can see and hear the ocean. You can also feel the ocean breeze the whole time. The massage therapists were so gentle and knowledgeable. I had a strained calf and she focused on it and it felt so much better after. They used essential oils on my legs, back, arms, face, and neck. Highly recommend.

This is one of the most magical places on the big island. Amy was especially fantastic, but everyone there you can tell truly cares about what they do and about providing the best experience possible. Okay can we talk about THAT OCEAN VIEW AND BREEZE THOUGH?! Even if you were just lying in the room without having a service done, it would be worth it to hear the sound of the waves just feet away, and to feel the cool ocean breeze, even in the peak heat of the afternoon.

I ended up going twice on my 4 day visit because I couldn't get enough. For my pregnant mamas out there, I think we are always a little apprehensive about getting a legit prenatal massage. I was almost 7 months preggo and this was the best thing I could have done for myself. I was pleasantly surprised. Amy knew her stuff, and also gave me some tips to help with pregnancy in terms of good aroma therapies to use, resources to look into, and my diabetes/diet, etc. You also leave with some fresh island organic fruit, need I say more?! My partner and I got the couples Lomi Lomi massage. After the massage I felt very relaxed and happy with the treatment. My massage was great and the ocean sounds were very relaxing. However, after speaking to my partner I realized we had completely different experiences. I had received a hot compress multiple times along and also hot stones, whereas my partner did not receive any hot stones and was only wiped down with a hot towel once at the end.

I was also offered icy-hot cream and many other potential enhancements which my partner was not. Not sure if it cause they expected I'd be the one paying the bill or what, but I did not appreciate the discrepancy. Also, the privacy situation was a little lackluster. After the massage ended the curtains were left open so those on the beach could see us while we got dressed.

My family and I had a wonderful and relaxing experience at A Ala. It was a very serene experience. They took their time, and did not rush at all. We did a spa package, with a massage and a facial and both were exceptional. All 4 of us had positive experiences, which is saying something for 4 women. All 4 masseurs were amazing!

I can honestly say I did not know what to expect, as I just looked online for a massage, and booked one here. But this place, the people and the ambiance exceeded all expectations and then some more! The beds were comfy, the breeze flowing in the open window, and playing with the material was such a surreal treat and hearing the ocean waves crash just completed this amazing experience!

And then there was the massage. I have had numerous massages before, but none compared to the total bliss I felt during and after the massage. The oils and scents used, combined with the incredible massage, and topped off with the amazing environment was so over the top I just still can't believe it! I will be back when I visit again. Highly recommend! Had a great massage here. Awesome location - located on the second floor, above a bunch of shops and restaurants. The place is really tiny, but has what you need. The massage room has a huge window in it overlooking the ocean. Surprisingly, you can't hear any people or traffic - just the ocean waves. Sun shining in through the window. Super relaxing. The massage was great quality too, and reasonably priced!

A lifetime of stress washed away. When I first entered A Ala Hawaii Massage I felt this wonderful breeze from the ocean and saw the waves outside rolling right toward me, I felt an instant wave of relaxation, so comfortable. Then on to the most wonderful massage ever. I have received many massages, many different styles and many different therapists, This was the best massage I have ever had!

Absolutely the best massage. Such a healing experience. The sound of the ocean permeated my whole being throughout the massage. This is the place to be for an awesome healing massage. Thank-you I will definitely be back.
