By far the best message I've had in a long time. I decided to try Go Memphis over massage envy and Im so glad I did. I had a Swedish Massage mix with Sport Massage due to Injury in my upper neck area and within a1hr, I was able to have the movement, rotation, and the sensation return to my right arm after months of not being able to fully move my right arm and neck. I would book with them again.

Stacy's hands have special powers made from unicorn tears and awes from cute kitten videos. She is professional, courteous, and can work out any kinks you may have. Highly recommend her!

I scheduled a massage the week before Valentine's Day. I was told I had to pay a 50.00 deposit which I didn't mind to secure our appointment. The day of Valentine's Day they called to cancel our appointment due to the snow storm and told me I wouldn't lose my deposit. Fast forward it's going on almost two weeks later and no one has called me to see if I'm ready to make another appointment.

I've called multiple times and get no answer. I've left multiple voicemails and get no call back. So I lost out on 50.00 dollars and an appointment. I will never try and schedule a massage with them again

Josh was great. He really worked out my tense shoulders and neck. It was all very soothing and relaxing. I loved the the heated face and scalp treatment. My face was so soft afterwards. Over all a great experience. My husband and I will be coming back!

I have terrible upper back pain & need massages often. I have been all over the mid south trying to find a decent place. Josh at Body Mechanix is amazing. He is knowledgable about anatomy and knows exactly what he is doing. I haven't gone to another place in 2 years. Best massages, hands down.

I went here on a Friday afternoon at 3:45PM. I called, but did not get an answer. They are located fairly close to my home, and I wanted to find a regular masseuse. I drove to Poplar Plaza, and saw the Open Sign. The door was locked and I knocked. After verifying it said walk-ins welcome + closes at 6 + open sign is on, I walked in and knocked again.

One of the employees came to the door and cracked it. I said "Hi, I'm here for a massage. It said walk-ins welcome online and on the door." She rudely said "We're both busy." The door was still cracked as if I was a door to door salesman and this was her home. Truthfully, I was willing to wait until they were finished, however this woman wasn't interested in me being a customer.

She never greeted me. She didn't try to sell me on a different time. She didn't capture my information. She dismissed me, and for that. Body Mechanix can have a single star. Don't trust the open sign.

I've been here twice and both Sam and Rick did amazing jobs. I only wish they had a post massage room where you could take a nap afterwards because your body is so relaxed, lol.

I scheduled (online, the night before) an appointment with Lynn Smith. The next morning, she called right away to verify my appointment, discuss any concerns, and to welcome me a little earlier than business hours to fill out their new client paperwork. The office and massage area was clean, and decorated with informative posters/diagrams of muscle structure, nerve attachments, and various other anatomy and physiology information.

Before starting, Lynn was careful to discuss my concerns, my past experience with massage therapists, and what issues I'd like to address. She spoke with me at length about my problem areas, and the types of stretches and self-massages I could do at home/work to help get me through. The massage was exquisite. She kept the lines of communication open concerning pressure level and comfort, without ever crossing the line of being too chatty - which I've experienced before.

She checked and rechecked the pain and sensation level concerning my trouble areas and overall, made me feel like a valued client. After tipping, the head-to-toe (scalp massage and foot work) with 60 minute deep tissue massage came it to be a little under $150. It was a little steeper than I'm used to, but I'm also not used to such quality and service! I highly recommend this location and Ms. Lynn Smith.

I have been a customer for a couple of years, and have never had any but very good experience. They are very professional, they listen to your description and definitely do their best to accommodate you. The environment is very relaxing, and the massage is both therapeutic and relaxing. They also do not just traditional massage, but e.g. cupping. Pam is my masseur, I highly recommend her!

The shop was clean and nice and scheduling was easy, but I was not impressed with my massage. I paid $70 for 45 minutes of sports therapy massage and walked out feeling no better than when I walked in. I chose the shop based upon the Yelp reviews, but was not impressed with the quality. At the beginning of my appointment, I told my masseuse that my main problem area was my calves - I am in the midst of a half marathon training cycle and the speedwork/distance have been making them really tight.

After stressing that I am a runner and my legs needed attention desperately, he spent probably 30 minutes of my 45 minute appointment on my shoulders and maybe 15 on my legs (split between calves and quads). My shoulders feel great, but the issue I sought relief from is not improved in the least. I cannot vouch for other massage styles, but my experience would not lead me to recommend Body Mechanix for any sports medicine massage services.

It was alright not the best. I believe the masseuse had a cold which made me feel uncomfortable which is why I gave it 3 stars

Friendly, convenient and fortunately they don't treat you like you're just another member (nor do they slam you with a membership sales pitch), they're more about building a relationship with the customer. My particular massage was slightly above average, lacking intensity and detail considering the $70/ 1hr invested. Deep tissue costs extra. It was far from terrible, I'll definitely give them another try.

My mother and I went and got our very first professional massage and we loved it! The staff is very nice. My mother told me she started snoring during her massage! It was peaceful and relaxing. We will be going back in the future!

This was my first time here and my first time getting a professional massage. They have a small business but the service is really great. They deliver more than you asked for. The staff and the masseuse are friendly and go an extra mile to make you feel comfortable. The aura of this place is polite and calming. I had a very relaxing Swedish massage and mud facial. Their eco fin hand treatment is awesome. Can't wait to try other services.

This place is somewhat hidden behind the French riveria which makes it interesting finding the place. The staff is very nice and genuinely wants to make you feel comfortable. I used the yelp coupon which does come in handy. I would recommend going there if you need some massage done.

Nothing bad I can really say. Good price (used a yelp deal) and it wasn't focused on just making you tired. She was focused on actually trying to make the knots, and tightness better. Would definitely come back!

Greetings, My wife went for her session today and really enjoyed it. She thought the masseuse was both effective and entertaining with his stories. Will probably try it myself. Definitely recommended.

Finding the right massage therapist is a process - and everyone has different ideas of what's ideal. I love Rick - he's professional, attentive and his style (a mix between Swedish and Deep Tissue? I'm not an expert on types of massage) makes for a relaxing yet rejuvenating hour. The storefront isn't spa-worthy but the rooms and tables are cozy. Plus the price is great. And not going to lie - I love the Dove chocolate at the end.

I should probably run distance races more often* just so I'd be motivated to get more postrace massages. I should add that I also had a prerace massage. Worth it. Ask for Rick! Not only did he get my burnt-out legs back onto recovery road, but turns out he also specializes in Massage for Pediatric Autism, which, although not relevant to my own situation, I think is pretty cool.

The Body Mechanix facility itself is, for me, a nice half-way point between "gym functional" and day spa--it's clean, attractive, and conducive to relaxation, but not something out of an old Calgon commercial. (*Then again, maybe I shouldn't, actually. That last race was a killer.)

I went to Body Mechanix after seeing that they were offering a $55 for $65 Yelp deal. I was able to make an appointment online, which was a definite plus. Their suite is located in Poplar Plaza right next to the entrance of French Riviera Spa. My masseuse was Pam. She was great and really attentive. I was so relaxed a couple of times that I almost fell asleep. My massage was divine. I'll definitely be back!

After writing the previous review, the owner quickly contacted me and offered to give us a free half hour section to make up for what happened. I didn't have a chance to call her right away since I was in another city. So just recently, I contacted her and we arranged an appointment for the next day. We came in and was greeted by Pam and the owner. They was all very nice and my mom say that Pam was amazing. Thank you for being amazing and looking out for your costumers.
